This was the first time to visit the complex for myself. It was incredible. Full of local history - I was very impressed by the helpfulness of the staff, who were eager to help a non-native language speaker. The selection of displays and artifacts were obviously curated by people with a keen sense of the local history. Very highly recommended!

A stunning medieval castle with a rich history and majestic architecture, one of the main symbols of Belarus.
The territory of the castle is quite extensive, in order to explore everything, it will take more than one hour. There are a huge number of unique exhibits in the castle, several rooms are available for visiting, including towers, which will have to be climbed up narrow spiral stairs with fairly high steps, but the view from the height and the exhibits in the towers are worth it!
I highly recommend visiting the castle with a guided tour.

The castle has been restored, it is better to visit with an excursion or an audio guide. Interesting story, beautiful interiors, amazing performance - reconstruction of Scottish warriors on the street. After the castle, visit the two towers. The castle is located near Minsk, in the town of Mir. One of the best preserved castles. We were here in 2024, we really liked everything, both the castle itself and the tour, and work is currently underway to improve the territory and plant trees. On weekends, artists come in the guise of Scottish mercenaries and arrange performances. You can change clothes and shoot with a musket or cannon.

I really liked it! We came twice: first for a tour of the castle, the second time with an overnight stay at the hotel. A great place to not just visit, but spend a great weekend.
The castle itself with excursions, a hotel, a cafe, a well-groomed area around, a wonderful pond will give a sea of emotions from tenderness on a bench covered with roses to tickling nerves in narrow stone passages and real tears in the department of the Great Patriotic War.
And in the evening, an unexpected surprise: real dancing on a real dance floor to real live music!!! (not a boy with a laptop under the microphone, but all the instruments and vocals are alive!)
I definitely recommend it, there is something interesting for people of any age. I hope to come for a full weekend))

One of the well-restored castles in Belarus (Belarus). There is a museum, a cafe, a toilet, a souvenir shop. You can climb the castle wall, which offers a beautiful view of the lake. It's nice to see every time you come that the area around the castle is being improved and landscaping is underway.
A good place to walk and explore the history of these places. It can be windy in winter.

We visited this castle before the new year, everything is decorated. It's a pleasant atmosphere and an interesting tour, but it's unlikely that this format will be suitable for children. It is a very beautiful historical place. An interesting and informative tour of the castle. The family stayed for a day from 5 to 6 June this year, a magnificent view, beautiful evening illumination of the castle. The photos turned out great regardless of the time of day. The room is very clean. On the ground floor you can buy delicious and not expensive tea or coffee. They did not go to the cafe on the territory of the castle, the cafe itself does not belong to the castle, the prices in the cafe are too high compared to the Cornflower cafe in Minsk. There are other cafes outside the castle, but many do not work, and where you can eat, prices are lower than in the cafe on the castle grounds. If you come to the Republic of Belarus and decide to stop by the castle, then I recommend staying overnight. I can say for sure that being in this historical place, we received a lot of wonderful impressions and we do not regret that we stayed overnight. The staff is very friendly. If someone wants to stay, then try to book a room earlier, it will be cheaper, but in general there are rooms. Room reservations are free, payment is made upon arrival, which is very convenient. Many thanks to all the staff of the castle for the atmosphere of magic, comfort and kind, friendly attitude. We will definitely come here again. Thank you🙏💕

It wasn't the first time, but it's still interesting. I especially liked the performance of the Scots. Very cool, fun, informative. Yes, visitors need to prepare to walk up narrow stairs a lot. We found under 5,000 steps.
The restaurant spoiled the impression a little. The administrators communicate through their teeth, the prices are quite high, the food is so-so. The cafe across the street is much better. But the castle is worth a look. Preferably with a guide. I've heard out of the corner of my ear how many interesting facts they tell.

In general, the assessment is very positive and that's why:
1. The beautiful territory of the park complex. Everything is clean, well maintained and preserved in a historical sense.
2. Belarusian castles are the most accessible for visiting by both Russians and other CIS neighbors.
3. A big plus of the approach to restoration and use in Belarus is that in the castle you can not only look at the architecture and go to the museum. But also that the castle is "alive". There is a hotel and several cafes.
On the downside: if you have already been to similar places in Europe, the exposition may seem a bit poor. But it is enough to recreate for yourself the life of the time when life was raging in the castle. And if you take a guided tour, then the guide will fill your journey into the history of the castle to the fullest.
So, considering all the pros and cons, I boldly recommend even sophisticated travelers to visit here or Nesvizh at least once.

This is a wonderful and very atmospheric place. Time has stopped here!!!! Already at the entrance you can feel the spirit of history. Very neat, clean. Everything is perfectly preserved in the castle, the guides are very competent!!!! I recommend eating at the restaurant "Princely meal": delicious, beautiful, excellent value for money. A check for three (one child) 150 bel. rubles. And it's worth it!

If you want to live in a real castle, then your dream will come true here. There are pros and cons, but this is compensated by the fulfillment of a wish.
Which is still worth noting. Of course, the prices at the local restaurant are biting, but if we talk about other catering establishments, then all of them are closed as one for special maintenance of tour buses. therefore, you need to relax, enjoy all the excursions, walks and eat quietly in the castle restaurant "Knyazhesky Dvor", where everything is very, very tasty.
Perhaps the situation is different in summer, but in autumn everything is exactly as I describe. There are a lot of schoolchildren on school holidays, and tourists outside the holidays. There are a lot of people on weekends.
The duration of stay is three to four days. If you are driving, there is a town of Nesvizh nearby, with the Radziwill family nest, but for me, Mir Castle is more interesting.
Staying at the hotel, you get a castle without tourists in the morning and evening, a discount on visiting museums and great experiences. Meals are separate.
For those traveling by car, there are several parking lots, including on the territory of the castle.
The museum exposition is presented in the castle itself, as well as on the territory of the castle courtyard, including two towers, wall galleries, a casemate and a chapel-tomb of the princes Svyatopolk-Mirsky (outside the castle). Tickets are different, there is a common one, discounts are available for hotel guests (see info on the complex's website). You can book a guided tour and use the audio guide.
At the exit from the M1 highway (8 km from the World) - Lukoil gas station, on both sides of the highway.

There are interesting exhibits, you can dig into the history. And it's a great place to go for a walk. Garden, history, temple. The caretaker staff would be a little friendly, but it's kind of like a classic. And it is a pity that the castle got enough and the original appearance is lost.

I liked the whole atmosphere of the castle complex, we were on guided tours. We were in winter, I would like to visit again in summer. We climbed to the top of the towers along narrow steep stairs, went to a nice souvenir shop, bought gifts for our loved ones.

A gorgeous place: a renovated castle, a beautiful park around. Climbing and descending in towers is another quest: narrow passages, steep stairs. But we really liked it. We can take an audio guide, but we didn't get it. It's probably better to take a guided tour. On the territory of the castle there is a hotel, catering points, a souvenir shop. We got to a theatrical show in the courtyard of the castle. And the cherry on the cake was a volley from a cannon before closing. I recommend you to visit and plunge into this atmosphere.

When visiting the prison basement, it is not clear at all that:) a small room in which there is nothing, and only goes down the same narrow staircase- people can go either down or up.

The castle was recommended to see before the trip. He was included in the visiting program. I arrived at the place after dark, the planned hotel is no longer working, the neighboring one for 10 rubles (Belarusian) wanted more. Just the bed... I looked at the Castle's website in advance. It has a hotel (highlighted in white in the photo), a restaurant.
There was nothing to see around at night, the village was asleep. The hotel room is 160₽ Belarusian rubles (*30 Russian rubles).
The restaurant is in the basement, beautifully decorated. The waiter knows the menu and recommended the best dishes and dessert (brushwood) "from childhood."
The service was fast, there were 3 chefs working. It's delicious, but the dishes are very, very small. Going to the room, I wanted to eat more. I saved a bag of food for the road. The receipt is 215 Belarusian rubles.
Entrance tickets to the museum, towers for privileged categories are free of charge, just in case, have documents confirming the privilege with you.
The tour starts at 10 a.m. Souvenirs can be bought at the reception of the hotel at any time or in the souvenir shop from 10 to 18.

A great place to immerse yourself in history. It is better, of course, to take a tour, because the guides tell us interesting and detailed stories, clarify many interesting facts from history, about which they do not write in books, unfortunately. You will have to climb and descend into the towers using narrow stairs and very high steps, those who have knee problems or suffer from claustrophobia will be uncomfortable. There are special photo zones, but you will have to pay for them, inexpensively, 2 rubles, but still I didn't like it very much, I took off the star for this, because in the Lida castle, you could take photos even with armor and for free. There is a wonderful park near the castle, several cafes and restaurants, prices do not bite, even lower than in Minsk in an ordinary cafe. Definitely worth a visit.

A wonderful and very beautiful place! With an interesting story. There are not many exhibits like in others, but there are a lot of interesting things! The castle is after reconstruction. The walls are made of old bricks and stones, as well as new ones.
The towers are very cool! Climbing them high is difficult and interesting! And they have a beautiful view)) the cellars are interesting, but the prison is not-a small room with shackles. On the other side of the castle there is a beautiful church with the coat of arms of the family, in the crypt of which there are burials..

It's a beautiful place. It has historical value. The place is a tourist destination, there is a hotel in the castle itself, a restaurant and a cafe. We were in the restaurant - the food was delicious. We looked into the cafe - the prices are cheaper, there is not enough space. They didn't take tickets to the castle, only to the towers and the basement. A narrow spiral staircase with shallow steps is an excellent fitness, we climbed up and down with pleasure.

A good historical place, there is entertainment in the form of installations. The interiors of the castle are amazing, from luxurious halls to gloomy cellars and an exhibition of household items of the inhabitants of the castle. There is a separate memorial exhibition dedicated to the tragic history of this place in the Second World War. One of the disadvantages is the queue at the entrance, although it moves quite fast. The place is definitely ready to visit! Very beautiful, colorful, atmospheric. The chivalric theme, it has always been interesting, here it is revealed, a lot of armor preserved from those times. Dishes, clothes, household items, swords, etc. The history of the castle itself is very interesting. We climbed the spiral staircases to both towers with pleasure. When we got hungry, we went to a restaurant right in the castle. A very atmospheric place, only here I finally touched the knight😊heavy chairs, massive tables, Viking music is playing, the food is delicious, cooked for about half an hour. It's not cheap at the price, but the very fact that you take food in the castle, drink hot mulled wine, is fascinating. There is a beautiful park at the castle.

Recently I was in Belarus and visited Mir Castle. I liked the whole castle complex - both inside and outside. Recent exhibitions and exhibits. There is a large park around the castle. Everything is very clean. There is a large parking lot nearby. We were surprised to learn that there is a hotel in the castle, and took note of it)) The castle also has a restaurant decorated in the spirit of the Middle Ages, with delicious cuisine (as indeed everywhere in Belarus).

A wonderful tourist destination. The beauty and internal structure of the castle is amazing. There is a restaurant, a hotel and a coffee shop on the territory of the castle. It is a must for everyone who is interested in history. It is most likely not suitable for sedentary and elderly people, since most of the movement inside the castle takes place along ancient narrow passages with high steps.

A beautiful castle, mesmerizing from the first minutes. The music of the Middle Ages gives a special atmosphere. The territory is very well maintained. It is worth being attentive to people with leg problems, there are a lot of steps, at the exit from the exposition and in the towers they are very high. Do not forget to visit the prison, as well as the church at the back of the castle, this is included in the ticket price. I recommend a mandatory visit)

A beautiful place with an interesting history. You can walk around the castle in a well-groomed and clean area, sit on a bench, admiring the scenery. You can go to the castle and do "fitness" (after all the stairs of the castle, our leg muscles ached for 2 days ;)). Then you can go on an excursion, which turned out to be very interesting and not protracted. There is a toilet on site and a small cafe where delicious coffee is made. There is also a restaurant with good service and delicious food. Well, the castle itself is very beautiful, I want to take pictures of it from all possible angles. The place is cool, I think we will come here again the next time we visit Belarus.
