This is a great hotel! Friendly staff, check-in was quick, even the room was selected taking into account the wishes, the food is beyond praise, animation, there is everything you want. There is a construction site nearby and an excavator works all day near the beach, and other equipment spoils the landscape and mood.

Rixos is of course Rixos) but this autumn 2024, a construction site intervened in a 5-star paradise, new hotels are being built next to the hotel on both sides, excavators are working around the clock in the bay opposite the hotel, you go out on the balcony in the morning to look at the sea and feel a strong smell of burning from working equipment. But as I understand it, all this is a temporary phenomenon, the construction will end and the hotel will be beautiful again. I still didn't like Rixos's own repair work, the playground was repaired under the balcony at night, it was noisy enough + pool repairs, the parquet was cycled at 12 at night, from this we can conclude that Rixos does not care much about the comfort of its guests, the name is earned, the guests will come anyway) Otherwise, the food is excellent, the room is comfortable, the hotel looks good, the service is on the level, in the evening they arrange shows for both children and adults. Wonderful family hotel, we had a rest 2 times. The food is 5+, the service in the restaurants is very fast, dirty dishes are immediately cleaned, a la carte is also good, they are located on the street, from where you can watch the animation. We recently visited the Rixy Club kids club in our hotel, and I couldn't be more pleased with our experience! From the very entrance, we are greeted by friendly and attentive staff who sincerely cares about children and does everything possible to make every child feel special.
The club's premises are spacious, bright and safe, equipped with all the necessary entertainment — from a variety of toys and playgrounds to creative workshops and exciting events. My children especially enjoyed participating in themed parties and creative activities. They returned every day with new crafts and a lot of positive emotions.

I'm resting here now. 4 stars, because there is something to compare it with. I was at the Rixos Hotel in Egypt earlier and noticed the difference.:
1. MCH and I flew from Moscow, the flight took 6 hours in economy, the flight was delayed, then it took an hour to get from the airport. I think it's understandable that we were very tired upon arrival.
We arrived at the hotel at 15:06. It says that check-in starts at 15:00. We arrive at the reception, and they tell us "The room is not ready, we have to wait 30 minutes."
After such a long journey, it was sad to hear that. In Egypt, we were immediately greeted, drinks were offered, and all the docks were filled for us while we just sat on sofas and sipped cocktails.
This moment was frustrating
2. Room cleaning. There is a special button asking for cleaning and absolutely in all hotels with a rating of both 4 and 5 stars, where I have been before, if a person presses such a button and leaves, for example, to eat, then he returns to a clean room. It's not like that.
I press this button, leave, and return to the room that is still not cleaned, although I could have been gone for half an hour or an hour. It's never been like this before. As a result, only after I clarified this point at the reception, I was told that cleaning is carried out during the day, but if you want cleaning for a specific time, you need to call and ask for it. In my opinion, this service is not at the level of a 5-star hotel. Moreover, the price includes a free mini bar and upon arrival we were told that it is replenished daily. But until we asked, again, no one has done anything.
3. Room decor. Well, this is a small thing, but in a compartment with everything, it also spoils the impression a little. A rotten painted-over bathroom door and one towel hook directly above the bidet faucet. Towels have to be stored in the room on chairs. And the chairs have some spots, which also causes a slight squeamishness.
There is also little space in closets for storing clothes, we keep everything in open suitcases. Fortunately, the room itself is spacious, which is a plus)
And now to the full-fledged advantages.
Apart from all of the above, the rest in this hotel is very pleasant. There is a beautiful beach with clear water and a delicious buffet with a large selection, a good gym, a warm pool, friendly staff and an incredibly beautiful atmosphere.

They were in December 2023. An excellent family-run hotel with an all-ultra-inclusive system, which is not uncommon for this Emirate, so if you want a quality beach holiday, then this is it. There is a small water complex with slides, two playgrounds, an infinity pool, the territory is small, but functional and well maintained. At first, the impression was spoiled by the room offered upon check-in: the room is old, shabby, the carpet is dirty. But the next day, after contacting Anastasia, a Russian-speaking guest-relay, we were replaced with a room without any additional charges after renovation in the main building. The animation, the rickshaw club is on top, the food is varied by day of the week, and the drinks are also at a high level. We were 100% satisfied with the rest. The only thing I didn't like was the crowds of vacationers in the restaurant, on the beach, but this is due to the popularity of the hotel.

My daughter and I were very pleased with our stay at the hotel. The period of stay is from June 21 to 29. We settled in very quickly, we did not wait a minute) Thanks to Supria, Diana and Denis for their responsiveness on all issues (Diana and Denis communicate in Russian). We got a spacious room with a balcony, which is very convenient! There are no comments on cleaning. The hotel itself is clean, the staff is friendly. The food selection is excellent, everything is fresh, the restaurant is clean. We also visited free restaurants. I liked Asian and Fishy the most, but I didn't like Italian so much. Excellent sports activities, both in the pool (aquapower, aquasicycle, aquafitmat, Sap - in the sea) and in the gym (Tabata, etc.). Entertainment program in the evening: a show from animators, a live band, and on certain days a DJ. Everything is spectacular and there are two scenes on the territory involved. It is comfortable on the beach, they make sure that there are no children in the adult area. There are two good volleyball courts on the beach - we played. In summer it is hot, the sea is hot, so we sunbathed before 12h and after 16h. There is a basketball court on site. There is a great playground for children, water slides. Many families come here with children. There is a swimming pool for adults (it's just a pity that the water in it is not cooled). Excellent main pool, always and everywhere there is a place. It's just nice to walk around the territory, well-groomed and thoughtful. Many people have told me that they have been coming here with children for several years in a row. I recommend the hotel for a comfortable stay! We are glad that we visited Rixos Bab Al Bahr!

Great hotel.the staff is very polite and helpful. Excellent cuisine, an abundance of different dishes, and they are constantly changing, the food does not get boring.
Wonderful animation for both adults and children!
Playgrounds and a mini water park, for those who travel with children!
Free alcohol also pleased me, not "it's not clear what's from the local store" but all the good alcohol!
There are different daily workouts, a good gym.
The only thing I didn't like was the sand on the beach, millions of shells, it's easy to hurt your leg and it's not very comfortable to walk on it, not that running))
I'm betting a confident 5 !

The hotel is GREAT!!! Everything is at the highest level, starting from the entrance. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere. The rooms are clean, the cleaning is always on time. The main restaurant serves dishes for every taste: every evening from Monday to Sunday there is a different cuisine of the world (Turkish, Asian, Italian, fish, etc.). A la carte restaurants are also at the highest level. The performances in the evening are chic, bright, costumed. Live music in the lobby every day throughout the day.
The beach is beautiful, white sand. There are always free deck chairs. There are a variety of drinks in the bars.

Great hotel, I liked everything! Family room , 2 rooms in the children's room with cool beds in the form of houses. Everything is new, freshly renovated. The hotel itself is very beautiful, everything is in colors, cleanliness is at the highest level! The food is very diverse, a lot of seafood, mussels, shrimp, octopus. The staff speaks Russian, they are very friendly, they responded to all requests instantly!

It feels strange. I expected more from Rixos. Firstly, there is not even a soap dish in the premium room, all you need is to ask for it yourself. Secondly, we asked for a dryer for things, and they answered us in pure Russian - "we don't have it, people are somehow coping, and you will solve your problem yourself." And this is all for a fairly round sum..
The most surprising thing is that the hotel's memo says that due to the fullness of the restaurant, half an hour is given for lunch and 45 minutes for dinner.
Crowds of citizens of Kazakhstan besiege the reception so that they can change their room to something better (I have nothing against it, it's just a fact - I saw three people in half an hour while I was waiting for the keys).
The food is excellent, the sea is warm.
In general, I flew to the Emirates, flew to the USSR, for my own money.

There are 399 dirhams per day on the beach with their waiter, including breakfast and lunch. The water park is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. There is a transfer on Friday from the hotel to Dubai Mall at 10 departure and back at 22 for 70 dirhams per seat. There is no deposit at the hotel. Only the tax is 20 dirhams per night. Bathrobes, slippers, adapters are free of charge. Children's club from 4 to 12 years old from 10.00 to 22.00. A well-known hotel chain and a very well-known specific hotel in the United Arab Emirates.
Among the advantages: an evening program for adults. Animators for children, a kids club, a game room with consoles. There is a gym, a tennis court, a basketball court, table tennis tables, and beach volleyball on site.
There is a small Aqua park with three slides and a swimming pool.
The food in the general dining room is good. There are many types of meat, salads, traditional cuisine, Indian cuisine...but! I have never seen berries in 8 days (decorating sweet dishes does not count). Nuts are also missing. Due to the heavy rain, even the olive oil was interrupted...after 3 days, this canteen is already boring. The salvation was the presence of several A la carte restaurants. You book dinner in one of them in advance and take a break from this buzzing of hundreds of people rushing to eat.
The pools are clean, the water temperature is comfortable.
The deck chairs are mostly intact and clean enough.
The beach is for an amateur. Sand of several fractions (with additives of construction, apparently) is an artificial bulk island where the hotel is located.
The sea is not transparent, cloudy.
Cons: the biggest disadvantage is the condition of the rooms. We lived in several, so it's not unfounded.
I don't understand why all tour operators talk about this hotel as a super 5+?? If this is the first time people are in a place where everything is included, there is a place to take their children, then this is clearly not the best option. The rooms are just tired. There has been no repair since the opening, apparently (see photo).
Therefore, before choosing this hotel, think a few times. Be sure to find relevant photos in the reviews of tourists, and not on the websites of tour operators.
The staff is helpful. Room cleaning every day, but not always at the top level.
Famous European alcohol in a separate adult bar for cash.
For a similar amount, you can consider other options in the UAE. And to go to Turkey for 2 weeks to a top hotel with excellent programs for adults and children.
I do not recommend this hotel.
