A very original design of the library and the book transportation system. There is an excellent observation deck at the top of the library, which offers a wonderful view of the city.
There's not much to do inside, but you can take a look at the unusual architecture of the sphere-shaped building from the inside, and then climb up to the observation deck from the outside.
Good day! It's beautiful, panoramic, but don't expect the best views! I liked the "village"/ chic area along the canals. From the observation deck, houses, landscaping, paths look very beautiful! Like a European village. In general, I Recommend It! I ask the builders of this attraction.... Please, at least for money, put a map with sights on each side of the site and offer the guests binoculars with at least five times magnification! Visitors will be ready to pay 1 ruble for binoculars or a monocle at the very least! Listen up!!!! Adult - 5 rubles, parking is FREE! For prices per visit, see the website. Everything is freely available.
The magnificent monumental building of the library attracts you to visit it, but it turns out that you can climb to its observation deck and observe the city from a bird's-eye view. Thanks, it's cool.
Externally it is beautiful, inside it is beautiful, on the observation deck it is beautiful.
The ticket inside is 2.5 rubles, there is not much to look at, but it is beautiful and there is a toilet.
A crowd of people goes from behind to the upper observation deck, there is a queue for 15-20 minutes at the ticket office. The ticket is 15 rubles even for children. Preferential only for Belarusians under 6 years old)) In the elevator, like herrings sideways. The fact that it is panoramic is of no use as the crowd. It's better to take a regular one.
There is a great view of the city at the top, but this is entertainment for 10 minutes. It's hot on the roof because of the glass fencing, like in a greenhouse.
On the 22nd floor of the Grand cafe, it's delicious, but expensive. The portions are large, well fed.
Well, in general, you don't have to go inside and onto the playground. It's expensive and 10 minutes apart. There's no point in going there for an hour.
There is a gorgeous park with a river behind the library, but it does not belong to it.
Well, it's just an iconic architectural object, a national symbol of Belarus.
For me, it's enough to drive past and ride the Ferris wheel in the center. It's not for everyone to go through half the city. And as usual, there are no shops around in Minsk, the problem is to buy water and ice cream. Only in the stall in front of the exam room, inside. The prices there are not very high.
You can argue for a long time about the architecture of the library, to some it seems like a scar on the face of the city, to others a work of art, but I was most impressed by what the library has inside. That's how every library should be! You just want to come here and look through a book, it's so cozy, comfortable and every detail adjusts to the right mood. I recommend all book lovers to take a ticket for at least one visit to the reading room, you will definitely not regret it!
This is the best library in the world, everyone needs to visit it and be sure to take a tour, you will discover just incredible things. No wonder we built it all over the country!!!
Definitely worth a visit. There is a huge parking lot nearby and the metro is also nearby. Tickets are not expensive, in November they cost 10 bel.rubles.
The view is amazing!
Climb onto the roof - the observation deck should be at the back of the library. You will see the elevator tower. Entrance without reservation. Choose weather without fog. Minus. It is necessary to wash the safety glasses. Take photos as you walk along the bridge to the observation deck from the elevator! There's a barrier below.
A huge interesting building, I visited the observation deck, the view of Minsk at night is beautiful!
There are also magnifying binoculars on the observation deck, you can see the city in great detail!
We often visit the hall at various events. Comfortable chairs. A small hall. Visibility and audibility are good. I didn't go to the library itself. The observation deck is cool.
Interesting design. Upstairs (22nd or 23rd floor) there is a beautiful observation deck with binoculars and a view of the city.

It is very exciting to visit here. Huge lobbies, themed exhibitions and galleries, many cafes, places to relax with upholstered chairs.
Seminar venues with beautiful surroundings. It will be interesting for children to walk on a transparent floor and aerial stairs. Especially impressive is the observation deck on the roof of the library (entrance for an adult is 10 rubles) and an observation cafe with delicious and inexpensive food!
We were in a cafe on the last floor, we really liked it, excellent cuisine, prices below the restaurant, a beautiful view of the green Minsk. Special thanks to the staff!!!
A great place for self-development! There is a large parking lot, 200 meters from the Vostok metro station, near the Grinn hypermarket. Beautiful view of the Svisloch river. The staff is excellent inside, the atmosphere is calm, there is a cafe. I advise you to visit this place not only for residents of Belarus, but also for everyone who came to our country as tourists. I also advise guests of Minsk and Belarus to visit the observation deck, the view of the city is simply amazing!
Belarusians themselves are somewhat ironic about this library, and this upset me. It seemed to me that the place was quite pleasant. The observation deck is not very interesting, because there are new residential areas around, the historical center is not visible, but it is still worth visiting both the library and the observation deck
It's a cool place, you can climb up to the observation deck and admire the sunset. There is also a good cafe) my husband liked Absolut vodka 🙈 real! Drank like water ahahaha
Splendor in all its glory, beautiful both outside and inside, the observation deck is a-a-a-a-dka🙃my head is spinning from such beauty and height, it was especially unexpected to climb the observation deck in a glass elevator 🙀
An interesting structure. They say that the architecture was developed back in the 80s. In the evening there is a beautiful illumination, there is an observation deck upstairs. One of the interesting places to visit in Minsk. On Shrovetide, there was a folk-style performance inside (pictured).

At the entrance, you need to register and get a library card. You can take a temporary pass. I like this library, it has everything. We found comics from the 60s and 80s, which is exactly what we came for. When you think, "why don't you read to me," you come here and everything is there. Comfortable tables and chairs for reading in the hall. It's a pity, of course, that you can't take it with you... A beautiful building for a photo shoot. There is a buffet. There are excursions and different halls in the direction of eyam.
Architecturally interesting. But there will be no WOW effect from the viewing room, do not wait... Nevertheless, it is clean, neat and relatively inexpensive.
Next time I'd better take a tour of the library itself.
A beautiful and unusual building. It is a pity that there is no specific schedule for turning on the backlight anywhere - I could not see it, although I waited until about 22 pm. There is an observation deck on the roof - unfortunately, I did not have time to climb.
You could have looked at the official photos and not gone. We didn't see anything outstanding. We took tickets for a library tour, it's not interesting to look at empty shelves and cabinets. The area is residential, surrounded by shopping malls, parking lots and high-rise buildings.
I didn't walk inside, but I liked the hall and it was clean, minimalistic, there are greenery and a place to relax, a large staircase and several halls. She took off the star for the fact that in fact it is gray, not blue as in the photo and looks inconspicuous. Perhaps it needs to be washed or polished, I don't know what the procedure is called, but a beautiful filter does not mean that another person will be able to take the same beautiful picture against the background of one of the sights of Minsk.

It's a great place for tourists to visit, even if not the entire center of the capital has been explored yet!
A great observation deck with a panoramic high-speed elevator and a cafe with delicious coffee with a view!
My favorite place for scientific historical research!
And in between, you can visit an interesting exhibition, where the works of famous masters are often exhibited.
And in between, you can have a snack.
I won't say anything about the library. Well, there's nothing to see from the observation deck. It is located in a new area, so there are views of new buildings. Of course, you can go up for the panoramic elevator. 23rd floor, height 73 meters. On the 22nd floor there is a gallery (well, it's not worth it), a cafe and a toilet. The cost is 5 Belarusian rubles preferential and 10 for adults. You can buy in advance on the Internet and not waste time waiting in line.
It's more interesting to look at the library from the outside))
74 meters and you're on the observation deck. The 23rd floor and 100 Belarusian rubles. The view is beautiful. We were in the evening, the illumination of the city is beautiful. I don't think it looks like that during the day
A beautiful architectural structure, both outside and inside, spacious, not as hot inside as outside (we were at +30 in summer)
The staff is friendly
You press the buttons on the elevator yourself)
The entrance to the observation deck is on the back side of the main entrance
A very beautiful building outside with a large parking lot in front. Through the main entrance you will enter the library itself (not for free, for about 2.5 rubles bel.). On the reverse side, there is an opportunity to climb to the 23rd floor to the observation deck. The view is beautiful, but it took us a few minutes to enjoy them. There were more expectations from this attraction, but if you compare it with any library, then it is undoubtedly the leader. A tip for tourists: it's still worth visiting once.
The best place in Minsk, computer ordering of books, many bright comfortable reading rooms, there is also a thematic catalog with cards for those who love. The choice is huge, books are delivered quickly. There is also a micro coffee point in the reading room, and a restaurant upstairs for tourists
The panorama opens up beautifully! Be sure to go) it doesn't take much time, but from a height the surrounding areas are in the palm of your hand)
The gallery is not particularly interesting, as for me.
The library has won me to my heart! friendly staff, warm and beautiful, a lot of halls with an incredible selection of literature, an exhibition of costumes - I stayed in the library for 4 hours and did not want to leave) I strongly advise you to visit!
We went up to the observation deck! Great view! Very polite and pleasant staff. Despite the long queue, we quickly bought tickets and got inside. And there is also a chic toilet next to the cafe✅
A place where I wanted to go back again! The National Library! How beautiful it is there! The building itself, the interior halls, the design of the library, everything is fine! There is an observation deck on the roof, and there is also a buffet in the building itself. Clean, quiet and very atmospheric! I recommend you to visit 👏👏👏
Advantages: none
Cons: one elevator, with a long queue in front of it. The views are so-so. A cafe is generally a separate kind of masochism. It has three tables that are always occupied. And there's a big one, which they don't put you in jail for. In general, you want to lose 2 hours of your life and a disgusting service. This way for you.
A very interesting attraction. I definitely recommend going up to the observation deck and enjoying the beautiful views of Minsk. A transparent elevator gives additional emotions .
Our pride. It is a very beautiful and unusual building. The number of books and the service are at the highest level. It's great to visit the observation deck and look at Minsk
The unusual shape of the structure is impressive. At night, various glowing advertisements are placed on the walls of the library, which is perfectly visible from the observation deck of the Belarus hotel. I wasn't inside.
A great time in Minsk, the observation deck is large, it offers a view of the city, we went up in the elevator with a panoramic view, it became a little scary, the impressions are very cool
The library is simply a masterpiece. It is very cozy and beautiful inside. Clean, bright rooms, upholstered chairs and sofas, a cozy reading room. And glass floors are something! Convenient and, most importantly, quick book ordering. You can pass the waiting time in a cafe with a cup of tea.
Open observation deck on the 23rd floor, panoramic elevator. It's interesting in the warmer months. It's cold in winter. The restaurant on the floor below was not impressed. There are not many dishes and the prices are high.
There is absolutely nothing to do inside. An exhibition with paintings, if you can call it that, looks more like amateur paintings. The Museum of Books if you only look at where books are presented from the 15th to 19th centuries
