The airport is very compact because, although it is an international but small air port, it is clean, the toilets are well maintained, the choice of souvenirs is decent but at a very inflated price tag, but if you do not have time you can find basic gifts for friends and partners, the work of unloading luggage on arrival is generally amazing - 15 minutes after departure there is a chance to get and leave with their luggage, the work of the border checkpoint is clear and also quite prompt, the staff are polite and helpful, they have already introduced border passage at the airport using a scanned passport, as for example has been in world harbors for a long time - it is very convenient and the airport takes 5 out of 5
Anyone who remembers the old Tashkent airport will be amazed. It became convenient to fly in and out. there is no need to arrive much in advance and the staff has become much more friendly with the change of architecture.
Upon arrival, you should immediately take a SIM card here, if you have not solved this issue in Russia in advance and change the currency (it is much more expensive in the official city exchangers). If you do not exchange at the airport, it will be cheaper to do it at unofficial money changers in the city
The airport has a lot of "bombs", but it is cheaper to order a taxi through the Yandex app (on an Uzbek SIM card)
In addition to the already voiced reviews about cleanliness, spaciousness and light, I want to add a review from the point of view of the transit worker.
I was very pleasantly surprised at the entrance to the airport building by the presence of an employee who called transit passengers to him. He gathered us all and took us to the counter, where we were all checked according to the lists, stamped, and then shown how to get into the waiting room. The cost of goods, including in rubles, which is very convenient for Russians. A cup of tea with lemon is 400 rubles, and for an airport this is not a high price. All ads are in Russian. The only thing that is not clear is why there are only 2 cubicles in the toilets, And so everything is for 5+
If you get there for the first time, it's not always clear what's where. Also, when I was leaving, I opened 1 exit for 2 aisles, as a result, people were standing in line for their flight and there was a lot of fuss. The management probably has something to work on.
I only saw him at night when I first flew here. After border control, there are several kiosks selling SIM cards from local operators. I bought unlimited Internet on my phone for a month for 800 rubles. Kiosks are open at night. I immediately called a taxi via Yandex.Go. It turned out to be two times cheaper than the price offered by local taxi drivers at the exit from the airport.
It's a very cozy airport, not big and accessible. No matter what time you take off and arrive, there is no such human pandemonium!! We quickly pass through customs control.
Clean and pleasant. All registration procedures are carried out quickly without problems. But the prices after passing the control are unrealistically high.
The airport is located within the city limits of Tashkent. It is very comfortable. You can leave and arrive by public transport, as well as by taxi. The employees are correct and friendly. Clean and bright. Overall, I made a good impression.
Everything is fine.We were fed on the plane, the staff is respectful.Everything is on time. The beautiful city has not been fully viewed, but we will definitely return.Cleanliness!Delicious food!
Finally, there's a free toilet, and conditions have improved, and the staff is kinder. The airport is developing well. And I like havo yullari. Especially the food.
It is much better than it was 10 years ago when we flew to China via Tashkent. But still, a big reconstruction for this airport is asking for it. Nevertheless, it is the capital of Uzbekistan!
I would like to leave a complaint against Dilbar Isaeva, an employee of the airport Business LOUNGE, who insulted me on February 18, 2025, calling me ugly with strange eyes. I ask you to remove the video surveillance from February 18, 2025 and conduct an inspection against Dilbar Isaeva, an employee.
I demand the punishment of Dilbar Isaeva, an employee of the Business Lounge, such employees should not be in the service sector. As a consumer, I don't want to pay a lot of money for service and hear insults in Uzbekistan at the Islam Karimov airport!
Nice, clean airport. Delivery to planes by buses. The planes are all new, the pilots are professionals. The inspection is quick at customs. Everything is clear and clear, what and where.
What can I add here? Only positive, especially when you fly away. But in general, the airport is being updated, and it is only getting better, the waiting area and duty free have become much more convenient and practical. The arrival terminal has also been improved, but there is still something to work on, for example boarding ramps, not buses
I am surprised what Tashkent airport has become, very friendly staff. I flew to Moscow , asked to make a place by the window , without further ado , the young man made a place by the window.
It's not a good impression. We flew from Moscow, there were two exchange offices in the chalet, one did not work, it is not clear why, although the staff were on site, in the second turn, the employee went somewhere. There are fences and barriers on the street, in short, a disgusting impression remains. I haven't been to the departure lounge.
Nice big airport
Nice Dutch fries
BUT this is a horror, not souvenirs, I'm silent about the prices, but the choice of postcards is a century old and magnets are either cheap or expensive handmade
Souvenirs are the main memorable! and here's a choice...
Disgusting airport! Boorish employees, they only let you through to the control with a paper ticket- in Russia everything has been in electronic form for a long time. And if you arrive earlier than three hours in advance, then you will also not be allowed into the departure area, only three hours in advance.
Sit and wait in a smelly, dirty airport.
It's just that the whole impression of the trip was reduced to zero with this attitude.
You still have to grow and grow before civilization!
The most beautiful airport in the CIS
The purity is exorbitant
However, there are a lot of people at the exit, it is worthwhile for the authorities to work with private taxi companies who charge fares.
Excellent compact airport. Copes with the number of flights that are available. It's a good thing that mourners and greeters are not allowed into the airport complex.
The airport is convenient. There is also a currency exchange and the sale of SIM cards. Wi-Fi is available. The staff is responsive and works clearly and smoothly
Tashkent International Airport, named after the first President of Uzbekistan, I. Karimov. the service is set at a high level, professionals work in their field.
The airport is not big, but it is clean.upon arrival, the inspection was carried out quickly, there is a mobile operator's desk in the hall, an exchange and phone registration.you don't need to negotiate with taxi drivers (they charge you), call Yandex, it's convenient and not expensive
Everything is getting prettier and prettier, we are no longer ashamed of our beloved capital. Shine Tashkent- The Star of the East-the capital of friendship and warmth!
a very strange airport. meager duty-free shops. the cafe prices are hell. coffee is $ 8 - seriously? everything in dutik is many times more expensive than in the city. every 3-4 times. this is the minimum. The airport's Wi-Fi is not activated by a number from Russia. that is, locals who have a connection need it more than tourists. great idea )
A clean and quiet airport, at the time of our visit, construction work was underway on the new terminal, but this did not affect the positive impression in any way.
Not a bad airport. There is a hotel on site, in case of a long transfer (I had it for 9 hours). It's small, so far there's really nothing.
Minus the star, the fact that the bartender of one of the caffeine cheated on 20 euros.
And so, in general, everything is not bad.
A compact but very comfortable airport. Well-coordinated work of all services. We spent several hours in the arrival area after arrival, waited for a relative, and saw the work of the airport. Everything is prompt. Passengers received their luggage and changed their currency if necessary.
Our airport may not be the largest, but it is very cozy. You don't have to waste time driving to the city to get to the airport. Yes, we have some shortcomings, but, as we see, work is underway to eliminate them. As they say, Moscow was not built immediately. Therefore, we are confident that the chosen course of development is correct, and the Uzbekistan Havo yollari team is doing an excellent job.
I haven't been to Tashkent for 7 years. How things have changed here for the better over the years. The border control was carried out without delay and without filling out a lot of paperwork. It takes no more than 20 minutes from getting off the plane to entering the city. I was very pleased with that. 👍
I would like to express my deep gratitude to the check-in desk employee Madina at the airport.Tashkent.
This employee assisted in the selection and registration of the right convenient place, as well as gave detailed advice. An attentive and kind girl. Health and well-being
After the restoration, everything looks very modern. Tashkent airport is the place where there is a desire to fly somewhere abroad, even if you just came to meet someone or to see them off)
A small airport. Everything is very long - passport control, money exchange, SIM card,... A taxi is... 😄😢 The taxi arrived, but we searched the parking lot for a long time until we got a call.... I haven't seen a cafe... maybe there is somewhere...
In general, the airport is normal, clean and they quickly sort out luggage, including oversized ones. There are exchangers with a more or less acceptable exchange rate. Of the minuses, these are taxi drivers and "bombers" who simply attack you at the exit, but this is not at the airport itself, but you can try to call a Yandex taxi, which for some unknown reason is rejected by orders and you have to go on bombs, which are part-time taxi drivers, but not for the money specified in the application. Before you take a bomb, look at how much a taxi costs in the app and then bargain.
The airport surprised me very much
My homeland is enlightening!
Praise be to you, my hometown Tashkent!
I love missing you))))))
Keep it up! Only in front!
A large modern airport, after passport control there is a currency exchange immediately, a good exchange rate, then points of sale of SIM cards. Everything is convenient and clear. The taxi arrived immediately.
I give two stars only because they did not think of a place for a pharmacy in the premises of the international airport. A lot of people use the services of this airport every day, everything happens, pills have run out or something suddenly hurts, but let's not forget the fact that a lot of girls and women who suddenly may need hygiene products, I think most will understand what I'm talking about.
Very competent staff, prompted and advised on issues that were unclear. The waiting time was on schedule, with no delays. Queues at mobile operators, but this is a standard situation at each airport.
The airport is located within the city limits. To get there by transport without problems: both commercial and public.
The airport itself is compact and convenient. They sell goods in Duty free in $ and €. Vending machines in Beryldi.
As for the order, everything is in order, there is security.
But the cleanliness is not all right. As the saying goes: clean is not where they clean, ...
If visitors reach the urn, then probably the mentality of the locals is different. Maybe that's why a crowd of specially trained people follows them, so as not to shame the city in front of visitors. The eye and the fines for them are necessary for order. 🫣And our markets are getting dirty too. That's why it's a minus
We flew to Tashkent from Moscow and flew back from this airport. Very convenient location, Parking nearby, free access for taxis. Inside there are various shops and cafes, there is a business class, there are just large waiting rooms. Even the smoking room.
The airport is in the city, but there is no metro yet, it's easier to get there by taxi. there is a bus, but you can't pay for it in cash (special features of travel in Tashkent).
There is a large Duty-Free zone at the airport itself, but the prices there are high.
