Tashkent International Airport is a real pearl of Uzbek aviation. Since arriving, I have been pleasantly surprised by the modern design and thoughtful infrastructure. Spacious waiting rooms and comfortable seating areas make the flight waiting time comfortable. The airport staff is polite and helpful, ready to help in any situation.
The registration and screening system works quickly and efficiently, which significantly reduces waiting time. I also appreciated the availability of a variety of shops and restaurants offering local and international cuisine, which allows you to enjoy the atmosphere of Uzbekistan already at the airport.
I would especially like to note the cleanliness and order in the territory. The airport is well equipped for people with disabilities, which means that every passenger is taken care of. In general, Tashkent International Airport has left me with only positive impressions, and I will be happy to return here again!

Cafes and shops offer a variety of choices, although prices may be a little overpriced. Comfortable recreation areas and free Wi-Fi are pleasant bonuses for travelers. However, from time to time there are queues for registration and passport control, which slightly worsens the overall impression.
In general, the airport is on the level: a comfortable place to wait for a flight with good services. I recommend it!

Tashkent Airport is just great! Everything is clean and cozy inside, no fuss. You get on flights quickly, everything is clear.
After the second trip to Tashkent, I decided to write a review. The airport has changed a lot since I was here. Now everything is very convenient: from arrival to departure, everything is orderly and beautiful.
The toilets are clean and fresh. The waiting room has a comfortable temperature. Keep it up !

It's not a big airport, but it's a pretty cozy one. The Dutch free is great, there are cafes, which is very convenient. I liked the kids' room.
The disadvantages are the toilets, dirty, there are no paper napkins, and there is also no wheelchair access when descending into sector D.
When you enter the country, passport control is almost immediately, you only have to enter the building, then immediately the luggage, although it is very long, the staff is slow.
Next to the baggage claim, you can buy a SIM card, there are also a couple of small children with perfumes and alcohol.

Recently, the airport has expanded, there are even more places where you can relax and have a snack. An undoubted advantage in cafes and shops is that you can pay in soums, rubles and dollars. There are interesting shops with original goods, you can spend time in them before departure.

Only in pairs and mini restaurants, the food is very expensive, but everything is fresh and has two concertos. Everyone inside is very friendly and polite.
One of the big advantages if you are flying in transit inside the airport, right in the departure area there is a real hotel where you can have a decent rest, take a shower, eat, the prices there are average.
You need to catch a taxi to the city at the exit from the airport or order Yandex, prices from local taxi drivers are 3-4 times higher.
Wi-Fi is not provided for free at the airport, you have to look for a cafe or boutique inside with free Wi-Fi.
In a word, I recommend it to everyone!!!

Because we flew late at night, we decided to take coffee, saw Caffelito, our mistake was that they did not require a receipt (I was probably just taken aback). For 2 Americanos and 2 cappuccinos, they charged almost 450,000 soums and 0.5 liters of water separately costs 15,000 soums, very strange prices for coffee that is no different. We can say that this is for foreigners, but then we "locals" are not suitable for anything...abroad, they do everything primarily for their own people.
Arrival....It's very strange, but the suitcases were waiting for almost an hour...all the people are tired, everyone wants to go home as soon as possible, they were indignant.. but in just 1 pc in 5 minutes, the suitcases went out on the tape. Something like this. Maybe it will be useful to someone.

A normal airport. It is located within the city limits, it is fast to get there. They work clearly, everything you need is available. On arrival, there is a currency exchange and the sale of SIM cards from local operators. On departure, he's a good dude.
Important:
1. The international terminal and the domestic terminal are located on different sides of the airfield, it takes 10-15 minutes to drive from one to the other. Tell the taxi driver the terminal correctly so that you don't have to rush to the right one.
2. Greeters-mourners are not allowed inside the perimeter. If you have to be met, go outside the fence, do not wait inside the terminal!
3. The security control is very careful. Politely, but adamantly, they will be forced to show everything that they find suspicious. Matches and lighters will not be allowed in your hand luggage. Hide your favorite Zippo in a suitcase, otherwise you risk losing it.

It should be taken into account that it was at one o'clock in the morning. During the day, you may need more time. I flew with Ural Airlines. They find fault with hand luggage very much, they check according to the template for bags, if they don't even talk, or in the luggage or anywhere. Therefore, check your hand luggage in advance. There is a smoking area, but there is no cigarette lighter like at Samarkand airport, lighters are taken away, so take matches.
