The terminal is small, so you won't have to walk around it much. Registration, border guards and the security service work quickly, smoothly and politely. The toilet is clean.
Public transport is not allowed on the territory, it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the bus from the terminal.
There are no drinking fountains in the waiting room for international flights (water costs 950 tenge ~ 200 rubles for 0.33) and it stinks of tobacco, because there is a smoking room downstairs, where the doors are constantly opening and closing, as people go back and forth.

Excellent hotel, close to all shops, a huge shopping center. The hotel itself is small, family-like, but cute and homely.There is a kitchen, there is a refrigerator, a microwave, in general all the dishes, a full kitchen. Clean, cozy, cleaning, friendly and helpful receptionists at the reception, in general, I am very satisfied!

The airport is top, there are charging stations, there are cafeterias with great food, there are canteens where I haven't eaten yet, but the prices are quite inexpensive. There are even capsules, if you are very tired and want to sleep for 12 hours, pay 50 bucks. The only thing I didn't like was the very bad and old and already broken massage chairs.

It's not a big airport. But comfortable. There is little parking space. Car traffic is just game, although this game is all over the city as a whole. There is no driving culture at all. But this does not apply to the airport itself.
In general, everything is not bad, fast and clear. Prices in dutik are high, they were cheaper in ordinary shops in Almaty.

It was the first time I flew to Alma-Ata. The first thing that shook my mind and expectation was the border guards. They are very very friendly here. All with smiles and jokes. After Europe and Russia, well, it's very unexpected and pleasant. The airport itself is so-so. But there is everything for newcomers to this project country. There's fresh coffee for you. Here you have the means of communication (by the way, it's expensive but without problems - you will register longer yourself). Well, as in Sochi - very intrusive taxi drivers (I personally was even offered to go to get my teeth inserted) in a word, the whole range of services.... But in general, the airport has its own flavor. It's great and it's not repeatable.🤘😂

I've been flying for as long as I can, but this airport is one of my favorites.
What did you like:
1. I have been 3 times, but never stood at the reception for more than 15 minutes, always fast
2. Adequate staff, including at customs
3. But the best place of this airport is the departure area. There is a cafe on the right, and you have a wonderful view of the mountains and the runway, and there I always wait for my plane with coffee, there are places, and the music is pleasant.

It's good that the bus runs during the day. You can't leave at night from 21.00. The taxi won't get through. And if you get through, then they fool around for a long time. They do it specifically to give money to the lavaks who ask for five thousand or more for travel wherever they go.
Recently, my sister could not leave from 22.30 to Ainabulak. They ask for 6t.t. a nightmare. Although she knows that Ainabulak is near the Airport.

We came to the business hall . And they met the same unfriendly , arrogant , boorish women , as if they had come to the administrators of Soviet hotels .
If you recruit your girlfriends , aunts and nieces , then at least teach them basic things . At least be friendly . It's at our expense they're there. Not for yours !
Everything is new , but the boors in the business hall are the same !!!
