I wish this square would be better suited for our ancestor Amir Timur.
I hope it will be better organized in the future.
Come here and take a picture with the great leader's statue. This is the heart of the city.
A great place for walking, cleanliness in the park, not noisy. I definitely recommend you to visit. We had a rest with a small company, everything is wonderful, there is something to see and, if necessary, buy souvenirs.
Have a nice evening. Especially the Boulevard street. This is the name of the street where snacks are sold and you can order a portrait. You can also go shopping or take a picture. The main thing is that it is convenient to walk in different directions from this point. It won't be boring
Earlier, of course, there was a lot of greenery. Now everything is gentrified. Smooth paths. The trees have grown up. The evening lighting is bright. A good place for walking
Why not make a square without cars?Hiking , shops and cafes, attractions.
Make it a tourist destination.
Do not depict ala gastronomic streets on Shevchenko in a 100-meter segment))
There is an old place in Tashkent - a square, Broadway.and why invent a "bicycle"? It partially already works!
One of the favorite places in Tashkent. Be sure to go to the Shopping center and buy coffee in the coffee shop. He has the most delicious coffee and other drinks at reasonable prices. I recommend it!
wonderful square, the artists who paint in the square you definitely have talent and hard work in your works!various activities for children, delicious Turkish ice cream. In general, Uzbekistan is a wonderful country with a great history.and it was not regretted with this square that you can get acquainted with it.residents of Tashkent/Uzbekistan-you are very good-natured people, thank you for welcoming us so warmly.See you soon, my most beloved Uzbekistan🙏🏼
The very center of the city, a beautiful park with benches. Near the metro, the university, the local Arbat, the Palace of Forums and the Uzbekistan Hotel.
What is striking in Uzbekistan is the amount of greenery, and in Samarkand there is even more of it. The park is very beautiful, the size of the trees is amazing. Very clean and well maintained.
I really love the Square, when I'm sad, I go to the Square and feel good, when I feel good, I run to the Square , the mood gets even better when guests come to me from Kazakhstan , from Turkey, I take them to the Square , this is one of the attractions of the city of Tashkent , has a snack on the Corner , this is my my favorite place . ❤️
It's a good place to just walk around and talk to someone. However, in summer, you should not go there before sunset. Small Christmas trees will not be able to save you from the sun. But mostly it is the main street of Tashkent. If you're a visitor, it's worth taking a walk in the evening.
It is beautiful and majestic, the trees have grown up, it has become green. I remember the square with the old huge plane trees, it was also very beautiful, the trees were 4 arms in circumference, it's a pity the photo was not preserved. I recommend it anyway. Tashkent is a super beautiful and my favorite city. Happiness and peace to this city.
Amir Temur (old Turkish: امیر تیمور – Amir Temur) (April 9, 1336-February 18, 1405) was a great medieval Turkic soldier and Commander, founder of the Timurid Empire, Golden Horde, Mamluk Sultanate, Delhi Sultanate, Ottoman state, full Leader of the Muslim world after defeating the States in the Caucasus and Iran, the 14th century, whose land reached 4.4 mln km2, the most powerful state builder, 35 years of an army officer who did not lose a war in his lifetime, one of the three great military-tactical war and marching commanders seen in the past, founder of the Timurid renaissance, patron of science, architecture, art and literature
A good place with a moderate number of people, not too loud city noise, relatively clean air, in general you can sit for an hour, or especially when you need to get off the subway and talk normally (on the phone, live).
We were with my husband in mid-September. How beautiful it is there. September is still a hot summer month in Uzbekistan. But it is already quite comfortable, especially in the late afternoon. It's so nice to walk around this beautiful park.
Of course, when there were plane trees 250 years old, it was better. But now, based on the current circumstances, when trees are being cut in the city, there is a small but green island here.
A square, like a square... Only you're sad for some reason.
A good place to walk.
It's beautiful, clean, and warm.
Obviously - for a visit!
I recommend it!
The trees have not yet grown after the total felling. But this place still remains a landmark for appointments. The city center and all the roads of the capital converge here one way or another. Street musicians often sit in the passages. There are a lot of foreigners, as there are several large hotels near the square. The place was once a landmark for the capital, now, for old times' sake, people gather here to move somewhere deeper into the city from this point. Photographers and I often start our photo walks from the square, as it is the easiest way to get here. There is a lot of transport, the subway and it is quite easy to find each other
The Amir Temur Square is located in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. This square was named after the great Turkmen warrior and ruler Amir Temur, also known as Tamerlane. The square is one of the city's attractions and a popular holiday destination for locals and tourists. Here you can walk along the green alleys, enjoy the beautiful flowers and fountains, as well as see the monument to Amir Temur.
It used to be more beautiful and cozy here. There were big trees and a lot of shade. Sixteen years ago, I even met my future wife here for the first time. You could sit on the benches, there were a lot of people. And now, in the summer, you don't even want to go through this territory. It was hot. And there are no people here in the warm season.
