Service for a solid 5. Everything is delicious. The menu is varied. Dishes with a hint of originality.

I'll give you three stars.. But not because everything is bad. I was passing through Vitebsk.. I decided to have a snack. I read reviews.. Others and went to this cafe. But the prices and dishes are not for a snack. I understand alcohol 0.5 - 9rub. And it's just our native, pizza 21rub._ 300 gr. And the filling is nothing at all, the dough is cheese seasonings, this is the cheapest, but I took pasta, this is something, 30 rubles. for pasta and some sea sweets, 5 mussels and 4-5 shrimp no more, and there was no taste in this pasta, just like at home, I took pasta and cooked, but for such a price!!! If someone just wants to eat, then it's clearly not in Salsa

We were at this place yesterday (09.01.2024) with a friend. Overall, it's not bad. But we were sitting at a table and a cockroach (little Stan) ran, the waiter was invited and she calmly cleaned up, as if it went without saying. No apologies, no discounts.

Pleasant atmosphere, good service, beautiful presentation, BUT! They do not monitor the quality of products. I have been there several times, after visiting constant stomach problems. The last time we went with my wife on 23.02 we took 2 ramen - the chicken meat was frankly sour! The dish was brought very quickly-it is clear that the freezer was warmed up. As a result, 2 food poisoning. This is just an outrage! We won't come any more, hello to the cook - I saved money, all the other efforts are in vain. You can't buy fresh chicken in Vitebsk - it's just ridiculous.

Time 21:30 we were told the kitchen was closed, order only street food ( for this we did not need to look for a restaurant with a 5.0 rating, but that's not the point)
Then we ordered quesadillas and burritos
The burrito was asked to be divided into 2 ladles to try together . The waitress nodded her head sweetly and said yes of course!
He brings the whole Burrito order and says the chefs refused to share ! To which I ask - What is the reason? They said no and that's it) They didn 't want to !
Okay... I think I'll split it myself!
It was just cold, as if it had been made yesterday and poorly warmed up !
And tourists have nothing to do here without WiFi) He's just not in the restaurant!
And the cherry on the cake is a dirty toilet !!!

I am from St. Petersburg and there are a large number of similar establishments there, I was looking for the same in Minsk (I moved there), I did not find it, and what was my surprise to find a decent cuisine in Vitebsk
Gorgeous tom yam (sharpness is right, full of flavor), spicy ramen (the most delicate and cooked noodles are right), fabulous breakfasts (potato Belgian waffle and brioche with bacon) - huge portions

Convenient location, there are almost always visitors. I like the second floor better - it's quieter and more comfortable there, but the stairs to it are extreme. There are no complaints about the dishes - everything I've tried is delicious. The pitch is also on the level. The waiters are very polite and inconspicuous, but you don't have to look for them - they know their business. There is a seasonal menu.

For the first time, I regretted that I hadn't taken a photo.
We ordered seafood pasta in carni sauce with coconut cream - it turned out to be not very good, there was almost no sauce, as well as seafood. But we decided not to say anything - everything was fine before and we didn't want to fight over pasta.
Then they brought tom yam, which was absolutely mild and sweet with coconut cream. It is sweet. They asked me to give it to the cook, but decided not to change it - they decided that it would work in general and also not worth swearing.
Then they brought sea buckthorn broth. We received a citric, very acidic liquid with a slight reddish tinge. We asked the waiter to change it - he came back and said that, it turns out, there was no sea buckthorn today). He offered to replace it and apologized - they chose raspberry. They brought the same thing, but added a little raspberry puree.
They asked to call the administrator.
During our story, the receptionist could barely contain her laughter and squinted at the bartender, and then said that it was raspberries that were so sour, and for 5 minutes she proved that she had seen how they gave us the order, and this could not be, she tried to convince us that there was no taste of lemon and in general it was raspberries (we offered to try, she refused). I added that I was allergic to lemon, and I shouldn't drink it. In response, I got, "Well, if you were allergic, you'd feel it right away." And it doesn't matter that allergies can manifest themselves in different ways, and certainly not always instant suffocation from a couple of sips - apparently, this would be the only argument.
After the argument, through extremely thinly veiled irritation, the receptionist offered a compliment from the establishment, but added that we could offer any drink, but obviously not a decoction, "otherwise everything will seem sour to you." They said that nothing was needed, so they just took it out of the check, paid the rest of the check and left. The three of us were sitting together - we were all out. The waiter still somehow tried to be polite and correct the situation - thank him.
I don't want to go back. It's a pity, because this is the first time I've encountered such an attitude in this institution.

Brilliant cuisine in Vitebsk!
"Salsa"
Suddenly.
Original menu, high-quality dishes, perfectly cooked seafood, focaccia... Soups are also delicious and plentiful.
Two tiers of tables (good both at the bottom and at the top - in different ways), elegant minimalistic interior, no smoking, pleasant lounge music..
Disadvantages:
Disinterested service in the hall,
Faulty toilets (no smell),
Pedestrian zone (parking should be a long way or by taxi).
I definitely recommend it!
We enjoyed it, regardless of the disadvantages - I dropped only one point for seemingly significant flaws. But the kitchen "took out"!
Bravo to the chefs of the kitchen!
The rest of the fixable stuff would still be worth fixing.

I'm not pleasantly surprised how the place has deteriorated.
We ordered drinks and pizza.
The first disadvantage is that the pizza is burnt on top, but where does the black coating come from? The price is 29 rubles for a pizza. In general, it's a shock.
The second disadvantage:I ordered a margarita cocktail.The serving is disgusting, dried lime in a cocktail, a cocktail with tequila, but without salt, as in the usual cocktails, the rim of the glass is made.
The third disadvantage: mango milkshake, it doesn't taste like mango, it doesn't taste like ice cream. Just whipped powdered milk to taste.

This restaurant is worth the trip from Minsk! Mexican food is one of the best in the CIS! And a separate bow for Tom Yam! It is so properly cooked that you should only be surprised and enjoy it! In Tiktok, we saw how Vitebsk residents vied with each other to recommend this institution, decided to go in - and fell in love completely and irrevocably.
