A great place to spend your vacation. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, the staff is polite. I want to mention the beds separately, they are very comfortable, I slept like a baby. The territory is very large, there are several pools on it, one of them with waves, the other with heating, several children's with slides and I would like to separately note the Infinite pool, it is warm and with sea water, not deep, for adults and children. There are a lot of entertainment for children, a water park, many attractions, entertainment programs with animators. About the food. My son and I had an all-inclusive package and we ate in several places absolutely free of charge. She's just different. There is fast food on the beach (pizza, potatoes, salads, beer dishes, etc.), next to a bar with drinks, juices, cocktails, beer and other drinks. You can relax on the sunbed and eat))) The main restaurant has a buffet, where you can choose whatever your heart desires. Dishes are suitable for both vegetarians and ordinary people, children also have something to eat. There is also a large selection of ice cream, fruit cakes, cakes)) There is also a Spa in the hotel, we went there daily, visited saunas and a swimming pool. I really liked this place, even though we were checked into the hotel for a long time. This problem is common in the hotel and we were ready for it after reading the reviews. But next time, I would have pre-booked the check-in earlier, since we arrive at the hotel around 5 a.m., and check-in at 2-3 p.m., All tourists sleep all the time on sofas, ottomans and armchairs...
P.S.: There is a studio downstairs where you can order an excellent photo shoot in different locations, we managed to change several images in an hour, very quickly and efficiently, there have never been so many successful photos in one photo shoot that lasted only an hour.

Two heated swimming pools. It is huge on the street along the beach, visually turning into the Caspian Sea. Standard, 25-meter, indoor, also heated on the territory of the wing with spa and saunas. And there is also a lot of entertainment for the whole family. There is a free-standing children's club with animators and various games. Settings, doodlers, air hockey, and more. Parents can leave their child and not worry. The rooms are standard and quite cozy. They are well equipped. Wi-Fi is working well throughout the hotel. There are souvenir shops and clothing shops on the ground floor. Alcohol is available and generally of high quality, but all of the same grade. For example, all types of whiskey tasted the same. But the bartenders made delicious cocktails.

A great hotel, delicious food, several Ala kart restaurants, a free water park and an amusement park with an excellent Ferris wheel giving stunning views of the sea and the surrounding area. Beautiful cozy rooms, a wonderful show program, good drinks, lots of entertainment on site, an unforgettable huge saltwater pool and several freshwater pools. The only negative is the sea ! Very shallow , the bottom is not well maintained, muddy in places. No one practically swims in it, everyone hangs out in the infinity pool with sea water. It compensates for the sea.
But they need to work out the issue with the sea, they can fill up the bottom with sand, clean it. The only thing I didn't like was the sea.

The paid restaurants on site have a slightly better quality of dishes, but everything is nevertheless similar to the main buffet menu-the lack of competition affects, but at the same time they have good views. It is better to go to the city for dinner, there are several restaurants near the coast where dinner will be much better than at the hotel. It is better to change the currency in the city (there are VTB ATMs that work with Russian cards) or in advance, at the reception the exchange rate is very different. Paid SPA treatments for a confident 4*, it is convenient that everything is in the hotel. There is no big point in overpaying for a sea view, it is visible from almost all rooms.

We had a family vacation in July 2024. We had a great vacation, everyone got their own, my husband had delicious food and I had beautiful views, the sea, pools, sports activities, parties, etc. For, son - playstation games, construction kit, games, on-site water park, carousels, friends. It's hard for me to say what didn't happen. I haven't eaten so many crayfish since I was a child, how much I ate during my vacation. At least drink alcohol, none of the bartenders looks at you askance. The booze is all expensive and imported. Wines from Italy, Spain and Chile. A saltwater pool, a huge water park, attractions and everything is free. There is also my favorite pool 16+, it is a real resax. Hot water and silence. I've been in it for hours. There are two disadvantages. First, it is difficult to enter the sea, rocks, silt and shoals. And the second disadvantage is the a la carte meat restaurant. The restaurant itself and the service, everything is top notch, but the food! It feels like the cook was deliberately trying to spoil something that couldn't be spoiled. We've been suffering with stomachs all night. And the same food in the main restaurant, all very tasty. We were with our family in an a la carte restaurant on 08/13/2024. The only place you shouldn't go. I also forgot to write about the spa- a wonderful place, I definitely recommend you to visit. Nice hotel. The infinity pool and children's park are simply gorgeous! The water in the children's water park is cold, so we rarely went there. An adult water park is quite good! The food is decent. The room was very pleasantly surprised - 2 rooms, 2 baths, 3 balconies. The territory of the hotel is small, but there is enough of everything. The kids' club is good. The spa is great - you can walk every day. Quite a decent Rixos, but not the best.

The staff is friendly, tries very hard, everyone speaks Russian, the territory is well maintained, such a green oasis in the desert! Sea. It's knee-deep in summer, everyone hangs out in the huge pool. There are a lot of children. Food, if you like only meat, is normal. But there is no fish, only in ala-karts, there are very few different greens, a small selection of fruits. But there is a lot of bread and pastries and different.in general, the nutrition for the Rixos level is weak. But we will still recommend staying at this hotel, despite the nuances, we had a good rest.

Varied food almost 24/7, you definitely won't stay hungry! Cocktails and alcohol of excellent quality, I especially want to mention the Kazakh bartender at the Infinity bar, he makes the best cocktails! Everything is always very tasty in the main restaurant, nothing ends, even if you come at the end. I didn't go to A la carte because they don't give free admission for 5 nights.

They settled us quickly , because it was already evening , they gave us a wonderful room , it was better not to wish ! The sea view is huge, beautiful, cleaned every day and replenished cosmetics and water.
Sport.
I would like to say a special thank you to coach Sergey Samsonov, he offered various activities, conducted a bike ride every morning, motivated me to train! I even offered saps , but I was unlucky with the weather. Thanks to such people, rest turns into an active and healthy pastime, and not lazy lying down. Thank you very much, Sergey!

The hotel is huge, as is its territory. There is always an opportunity to go somewhere and do something. Unlimited access to the water park and amusement park, swimming pools, gym, spa with pool, bars and restaurants, sports training, show programs and parties in the evenings, sports broadcasts - well, what else can you wish for??!!
I went without children, there are even more interesting things before them! An ideal place to relax with your family.
Now the cons, it's the wind! It was so strong for a couple of days that I wanted to stay in the spa! When traveling to the city, we went outside the hotel and thought we would return. The wind was blowing us away.
I would also like to note the availability of bottled water everywhere, at any bar in the room - it's just wonderful!
The spa serves delicious tea with honey and lemon. They bring it right to the pool))

This is a very cool European-level hotel. In general, the Rixos hotel chain is a very cool chain ! Everything is at the highest level - room stock, service, cuisine, entertainment for children and adults, imported alcohol, experienced bartenders and chefs. We have vacationed a lot of places - Bali, Vietnam, Thailand, Cyprus, Turkey, Egypt, Sochi, but we have not been to Kazakhstan. We learned about Riksos in Aktau. And they didn't regret it!!! It's a whole city of entertainment. We are from Yekaterinburg, it takes a little over 2 hours to fly, and an hour to get to the hotel. And you are in a very cool place!! This is the Kazakh Disneyland - a large water park, attractions, swings, carousels, toshnilovki and light ones, for every taste. Who was not , I advise you!!! It's a paradise for children!!!

We had a vacation in August with our family. The weather is excellent, very warm but not hot, in the evenings it blows cool from the sea. The food and servi are on the level, there is always a variety of meat, fish, grilled every other day, you will not stay hungry. Alcohol, the best I've seen, olmeca, Bacardi, martel, wines of Chile, Italy, Spain, Georgia and other types, all branded. We didn't swim much in the sea, just to cool off, there is a beautiful infinity pool, salty, clean, not deep, everyone rests there. The main feature is a water park and an amusement park, it's better to walk before lunch, so there are fewer people and the sun is not so hot, after lunch you can get burned very quickly. When a lot of people have to "fight" for buns, the principle of "rolled gave away" does not work here. Those who receive buns ride as long as their conscience allows. The parks themselves are great, they come from all over Kazakhstan. The most delicious coffee, as it seemed to us, is brewed by the girls in the lobby on the 3rd floor.

. The sea is still not real, the depth is waist-deep, the stones are large at the bottom, the bottom is covered with silt.
. The stairs on the pier are covered with shells in the water, if you do not use them carefully, you can get hurt.

A huge saltwater pool for children and a wonderful 16+ relaxation pool where you can relax in silence while the children are in class.
The only disadvantage is the food, I would like more variety, dumplings for breakfast, but I want for dinner, one type of fish every day, no changes, the waiters do not always have time to serve the guests! If it wasn't for the food, the hotel would have deserved all 5, we will be glad to return next year!

The bar is 24 hours old, we were pleased with the variety of drinks (bartenders try to please everyone, friendly staff), there is also a huge selection of juice, non-alcoholic cocktails, hot chocolate, ice cream for children.
The food is a little bland, mostly stewed, boiled meat, stewed fish. There is very little fried meat (I repeat, everything is stewed). There was a lack of a variety of soups, very liquid, almost one broth. Vegetables include cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants and fried zucchini. A variety of pastries and sweets. In the hours after breakfast, you can have a snack by the pool, hot freshly baked pizza, fast food, fruits.
The main pool has salty sea water, but there is a drawback, the tiles have broken off in some places and you can damage your feet. There are always lifeguards around the perimeter of the pool. There is a 16+ swimming pool where you can relax from children.
On a cool day we went to the SPA, I really liked the Turkish bath. Massages can be arranged for an additional fee. Everything is clean and very comfortable.
A separate plus of our vacation is a water park and an amusement park. For children, this is a very cool entertainment for every day.
We went to a restaurant by appointment (included in the accommodation). Although not a varied menu, everything is delicious.
I would like to see more entertainment for children in the playroom. In our case, the children did not want to stay there.

We rested for a week in July. The weather was great - it was comfortable to sunbathe and swim in the afternoon, and walk in the evening. As for the first one, there is a wide variety of options. There are both gorgeous pools on site (I liked infinity, which seems endless), and a whole water park with a pool with beach sand.
For walking, there is an excellent promenade along the sea, along which you can walk from the hotel to the amusement park. The park has a large number of attractions with varying degrees of extremity and for different ages. We enjoyed going for a ride there every evening with a child of five years old. In addition, a children's disco and an entertainment show are held in the park in the evenings.
There is a children's club on site for children. The child enjoyed spending time there, participating in various activities organized by animators, or just playing with other children. Ours really liked the aquagrim - it was painted there every day.
Adults are organized for darts, football, and volleyball. There are tennis courts (rackets can be rented).
As for the food, in addition to the main buffet restaurant, there are two more a la carte restaurants. We had one free trip to one of these restaurants for 7 nights of stay. In the main buffet restaurant, the variety of food seems to be good, but sometimes it can still be difficult to choose something to taste. There is also no dietary food. But there are a lot of desserts and pastries. We really liked the baklava. It's always fresh and super tasty there. In the evenings, grilled food was often cooked on the street side of the main restaurant. Once they caught a delicious white fish there. There is food by the pool, several bars.
The grounds, as well as the hotel itself, are clean and tidy. Room cleaning is on the level. But some rooms, despite the freshness of the hotel, are already shabby in places.

Choosing this hotel, keep in mind that it is as family-friendly as possible , there are a lot of children and if you plan to hang out , it is definitely not here, although there are discos and live music in the evening !I still take off for the service , the staff is certainly not rude , but everything is as cold as possible and with dissatisfied faces , there is a lot of hot food but one is monotonous ,there are delicious positions , there are none at all and most of them, the main surprise was terribly not tasty vegetables , from the south and the summer season , something I did not expect !In general, everything is fine with small disadvantages)))

Among the advantages: good rooms, a beautiful spa area, access to the aqua park and amusement park, there are few people there and it's cool.
The food is so-so, the drinks are bad. In general, this could be tolerated.
The biggest disadvantage is the children's room. I chose a hotel for a comfortable stay with a child of 5 years old, so that for an hour or two a day I could take him to the children's room. I have never met such a disgusting "work" of animators anywhere (I travel a lot). Small children wander around the room doing nothing. Realizing this after a couple of visits, I approached different animators twice, on different days, so that the child would be taken on a quest when it starts and/ or taken to watch a cartoon, both times the request was ignored. The child was stupidly waiting for me to come and there are a lot of such "sad / bored" preschoolers there. There are simply no animators in sight. The first time we came, instead of "hi, what's your name?" the child was told, "if you want to go to your mother, we will call her and she will pick you up." Half an hour later, they called me and said that the child wanted to come to me. When asked by his son what happened, he said that his uncle came up to him and asked if he wanted to see his mother… I was shocked. (I have a calm/sadistic child who quietly stays without me). Full of the feeling that children are not welcome. The "a la" room is open every/all day. At the same time, it turned out that on Saturdays, children cannot be left in the room for three hours, and it does not matter that all this time is reflected in the schedule as working with different activities. The climax was when the children's train, which travels around the hotel and rides the kids, left for the amusement park, without warning that the flight was the last, with my son unaccompanied and did not return back. I had to find out where the train was, run to the amusement park, look for a train so that the child would not be scared alone in a crowded place and actually outside the hotel. The impression is strange - the hotel is clearly designed for holidays with children, with such negligence... I definitely do not recommend it with small children. With schoolchildren, it is probably normal, who themselves are able to find an animator and the declared activities.

A great place for a family vacation. The staff is very friendly, attentive, the hotel territory is large and well maintained. The cuisine is decent, very tasty, alcohol is just for every taste! The only thing I would like is more animation for both children and adults during the day. An excellent water park, the water is comfortable on adult slides, but I would like it warmer on children's slides, the water is cold. An excellent children's playroom, with an active entertainment program, there is a room with game consoles, for our modern children this is paradise. The rooms are gorgeous. Recommend 👍

We had a good rest with the children. I liked the attractions and the opportunity to visit every day for free.
The water park is also great, but in the children's areas the water was icy, the kids were freezing.
The food was mostly delicious, and we didn't stay hungry.
The only bottom in the pool was broken and it was possible to get hurt.

Family vacation. The quality of service has increased, everything is promptly cleaned, brought, served. They are constantly doing something on the territory. You get aesthetic pleasure. The hotel itself is fresh. Separately, this year I would like to highlight animation, both for children and adults. Constant traffic, events, evening discos. Despite the music on the main bar, you can't hear anything in the rooms. The hotel is completely full, there were no problems with places in the restaurant, bar, by the pool. Due to the availability of the aqua park and attractions, everything is evenly distributed. The chef is trying, trying to diversify the menu. There is an open barbecue on the street. When you are here, immediately think about where to sign up. From the discomfort: the shallow sea, not really swimming, compensates for the presence of a huge pool with sea water, the wind sometimes invigorates it. Among the wishes: change the approach to the toaster. It turns out that there are 3 streams of people intersecting in a closed corner 1. For butter; 2 to cut toast; turn to the toast itself.

Safety is 0! A child was beaten by local guys in an amusement park...3 to 1! Be careful, as anyone can get here by paying for an entrance ticket ... you can get such a "surprise". Concussion, a huge black eye! And the best part is the provision of medical care at the hotel! The child needed to smear his eye 3 times a day and there was 1 tube of this cream for the entire huge hotel...I just asked him to give it to us so that we wouldn't wait for the staff every time... we were refused! Are you serious? A tube for a hotel... even if it's 1, go and buy 1 more... in the end, we did just that- we went to the city and bought ourselves all the funds for our son! Ruined vacation! The food is meager, 500,000 were given for 3 people in a week. The fruits are rotten, the food is monotonous, seafood was 1 time in a week, some kind of incomprehensible fried fish. As much as there is no sea here... everyone hangs out by the pool, but here, too, you need to try with a place....as I understand it, the locals also buy a ticket here)))) There is no priority for vacationers at the hotel! Like a water park in Moscow, I managed to take a place, great! No, well, your problems! The only thing on 5 is entertainment for children! And high-quality alcoholic cocktails. Everything. This hotel chain is prestigious... but the service is 0! I am very disappointed!

We stayed at the Rixos Water World Aktau Hotel from July 7 to July 21, 2024 in room 5202. The view from our room was gorgeous. The three of us traveled: me, my wife and our daughter for 1 year and 8 months. We liked everything very much.
The kitchen at the hotel is simply magnificent, the buffet offers a variety of dishes for every taste, but I would like more variety for the youngest. The amusement park is just super, and the water park with many interesting slides is suitable for both adults and the youngest, which was especially important for us.
Any questions that arose were resolved very quickly and efficiently through the reception or room service.
The hotel's restaurants also left great impressions. We visited both restaurants, as we were given a voucher for every 7 days of our stay.
I would especially like to mention the work of the animators in the Rixy Club. Wonderful girls who do not just work, but really devote themselves to their work with all their heart. It was interesting and fun for the children with them.
Interesting shows were held every day. Of course, when you stay for more than a week, the programs begin to repeat, but they are executed at a very high level!
I would also like to mention the work of the bar. Always high-quality cocktails!
In general, many thanks to Kazakhstan and all the staff of the hotel for such a wonderful holiday! It really helped us out, because we were going to Turkey, but found an error in my wife's passport.
We recommend everyone to visit this hotel. 10 days here will be a great choice!

We got what we expected from the rest. Not a bad diet with an emphasis on national cuisine, there is a lot of meat and a variety. We were pleased with the crayfish. A la carte - very tasty and satisfying!
An amusement park and a water park are great additions to the hotel grounds. I would also like to express my gratitude to the barmaid at the bar by the sea, an excellent employee, offered and made delicious cocktails.
I liked the "living sea", a lot of fish, fed from the Pier. The sea is too shallow for swimming, but you can swim.
Animation is not intrusive, it's what we wanted. I liked the evening shows. Children's too.
On the downside - periodically some alcohol ran out, I had to look for a replacement, not fundamentally for me, but strangely. And it was very unusual to cook an aperol cocktail without an aperol;)
The waiters in the main restaurant sometimes took an order, but forgot to deliver it. Not often, but still.
The overall result is that I liked the rest, you can repeat it

We spent a wonderful week here - a good combination of "price = quality".
There is an amusement park and a water park nearby - plenty of space for children!
The only drawback is that you can't swim in the sea - rocks and silt, I cut my leg((
But there is a huge saltwater pool with a very comfortable temperature.
If adults are tired of children, then you can always go to the adult pool))
In general, I recommend it! A great alternative to Turkey.

This is a good hotel, but not 5 stars, the rooms are beautiful, cozy, but the carpet has not been cleaned under the bed for a long time. The bar is replenished every day for free. I liked the food very much, but the waiters who serve in the restaurant are very slow, although all are young and friendly, sometimes there were no clean tables, although there were a lot of empty ones, I had to come up and ask them to clean the table. I liked the water park and the Luna Park, they threw money on the bracelet at the bar in the Water Park and there was not much left, they said that everything should be returned, but they said at the reception that they would not return it, only in the place where they threw it. They don't swim in the sea there, it's shallow and cold. There are no water activities. In general, there were positive emotions. And one more moment when we entered the room, there was a welcome set of fruits and a bottle of wine on the table, but after 5 minutes it was taken away)))) but I managed to take a picture of him. We didn't have time to go to the a la carte restaurant (a privilege for those who rest for 7 days or more).

It's a beautiful place. Excellent service. A lovely room, But the sea is shallow, although there are many pools, and even for adults-strictly after 16. They feed around the clock. And they drink too. The hotel is great for a family, a large water park. The hotel is not coping with visitors as it is new, be patient, the staff is trying. It is better to wear swimming boots in a saltwater pool, because the bottom of the pool comes off and the child can easily injure his feet.
