Bagripsh is an excellent hotel for unassuming vacationers, the room has everything you need to stay, air conditioning, WiFi, TV, buffet meals at the hotel, you can have a great meal, free beer and ice cream for guests with a red bracelet, entertainment program every evening, first for children, then for adults, the sea is nearby, there is an elevator,to get down to the sea faster, the views from the window are wonderful, there is a view of the sea, there are mountains. You can also choose an excursion without leaving the hotel. There were also disadvantages, of course, I was moved into a new hotel and when I decided to spend time in the room in the afternoon, I was very sorry, something was drilled from above all the time, the hotel was not yet completed, I lived on the fourth, and the fifth had just begun to be equipped. Well, in the evening, when I returned after a 12-hour tour, I decided to go to bed early, it was very difficult to fall asleep, since the music was loud, plus karaoke. I stayed at the hotel for only 6 days, during all this time the bed linen was not changed once, and since there are not enough maids in the hotel, cleaning was carried out every 2 days.

We chose this place solely because of the location and the lack of time to choose in general) Stalin's favorite dacha is nearby, because we decided that it would be beautiful! A place for pensioners, of whom there are most!!! 10% of families with children and young people. It's very boring, for those who have traveled a lot of countries and seen a lot of things - it's just a grandma park. Just put up with it and think that they might not have had a rest at all ! There is nowhere to walk! There is a road nearby and that's it! The sea is clear - this is a plus, but it is tedious to walk to it. An elevator, and several stairs (inconvenient, especially for the same pensioners. Every evening they play the same set of music (I'll give you lilies of the valley , and all sorts of Caucasian chanson songs) throughout the rest , which people who are over (years and kilograms) literally come off to! And after the end of this sabbath, they don't throw up, continuing to yell and grunt until they are picked up and taken away (wife or mother) and falling asleep you listen to these screams and all sorts of alcoholic nonsense… People who write- cool discos😂 were probably only in Anapa and in 97. So if you wanted relaxation, you won't get it either, or take a room with a mountain view. We cleaned well, changed towels, left tea! Next on food 3+!!! You won't starve to death, but you can't count on something exquisite even close! For me, breakfasts, their own pastries (cottage cheese and shortbread dough) and cream soups were a salvation. That's all. There are almost no fruits, and no vegetables either. Meat and fish in their preparation are generally a separate kind of piggy... so it wasn't even considered. We took private excursions with a married couple - to Lake Ritsa, waterfalls and new Athos. I liked it, but it was expensive. So to sum up, I can say if there are no more options or you are an elderly pensioner - you are here!

I have just arrived from Bagripsh from Abkhazia. Such a wonderful place . Beauty, nature, views. Food, thanks to the cook!!! There was no heartburn. Everything is at home. The staff is friendly. Of course there are disadvantages, but these are small things. For example, on the beach, you can make decking out of wooden planks so that it is convenient to walk. The beach is moderately clean, semi-wild, I can't get enough people, there are enough sunbeds. A beach bar, beer and wine by the river. Delicious wine is not sour, Sukhumi beer. Thanks to Diana, the girl from the travel agency bought excursions from her! Minus the loud music, you can go deaf and the repertoire is the same, in the morning for lunch and dinner and to the disco. They say the owners decided so, I don't know. But it is fashionable to dilute the repertoire and keep it down, it is necessary to take care of the hearing aid)). Room cleaning also leaves much to be done. In 8 days, the room has never been washed!!! I just didn't want to swear. The reception really tried to solve all the issues at once. Yes, there is no hair dryer in the room either! But these disadvantages are blocked by the Sea and nature, a good mood!. So I will definitely come again! Stop for a buzz!!! The view from the balcony is mesmerizing, I fell in love, I think it will be even better next year!!! Thank you, The Country of the Soul is Abkhazia!! Yes, I want to say about the wonderful, kind, responsive attitude towards Russians! And go once again to the Abkhazian feast in the village of Duripsh!!! There are a lot of emotions from visiting. And there are more negative ones. I left the stars only for the restaurant and the animator Nika. The reception leaves much to be desired - they greeted us with sour faces and talked to us all the days as a favor. In the end, they forgot to send information about us to the transfer at the departure, which did not wait for us safely. The room is like after the flood. The furniture was crumbling, and there was mold in the shower. There's a spider web on the wall. Toilet paper is the cheapest, I can't even find it in the store right now. After it was over, no one gave us a new one. We searched for them ourselves and took them ourselves. The shower door was installed from somewhere where it broke, apparently. Dirt in the street elevator, even with cockroaches, the shower on the beach is broken, and the floor, and the watering can. It's even scary to remember about the toilet on the beach, in the evening without light, and with all the stains and remnants of the previous visitor. There are no steps at the stairs in the beach bar, the fence is rusty, and there are no whole sun beds. Everything is dirty, broken, covered with plaque, green algae. Paths with dips. Everything that is not under cameras and without lights on the territory is covered with garbage. The declared locally produced drinks, beer and wine, taste terrible. The cheapest or the most diluted, I can't say, I didn't continue to drink. Once was enough. And the most unpleasant thing is that they smoke everywhere. There is no ban, neither in cafes, nor on the beach, nor in a minibus, nor in a taxi. The elevator repairmen could smoke right on the floor through the window. I had to breathe it, because it was all drawn to the room. In general, who gave them 5 stars remains a big question. Or the host facilities have underestimated the concept of requirements for stars, in general.

We were in this boarding house from 26-31.07, 2024. I liked everything very much, the price category is low for Abkhazia, but at the same time a full all-inclusive boarding house (5 meals a day buffet + buns with condensed milk, beer at the bar on the beach and on the territory). Food without delicacies, but there is a choice, meat of two types and fish always! The territory is well maintained , small, three buildings. One is completely new and modern . There was a pharmacy in our building, 4 elevators. There is enough space on the territory itself, a very beautiful view, greenery everywhere, an observation deck with tables. The river flows and a small waterfall. Take a room with a view of the mountains, not the sea, if with children, since discos take place every day from the sea! The rooms are simple but clean, hair dryer at the reception only, iron on the floor. There are no shampoos, ordinary soap and plain paper are all there. At your request, they will clean at least every day. Bed linen is replaced once a week. All possible towels are given out , beach towels are also changed at the reception every three days . There is a private panoramic elevator to the beach , and then an underground one under the railway road and you are on a private clean beach. There are enough sun beds for everyone, if you want to be in the shade, then there is a lot of space under the roof of the bar. Every day there are interesting animations for children (foam party, discos, drawing, games, weaving, etc.). As soon as you got down from the elevator, your shops have everything you want and food and clothes and swimming equipment, prices are like ours in Omsk. They are not overpriced. There are also souvenirs and braiding. Even dolphins come to the beach. There were excursions at the hotel , but by a large bus , we took Vartan from a private trader on the way to the beach. Cheaper and faster, had breakfast and drove, on the spot for lunch , do not miss lunch, his car is comfortable and modern. He will not advise you where to walk and where not to. Well, I must say right away there are no rules for Abkhazians, they rush along the serpentine at the turn through the last one, how not to do figs! There are two swimming pools on the territory, one is small and cool, the second is large and warm with a children's area. Dogs and cats live on the territory and no one forbids them to feed or expel them. Rest is measured, cicadas chirp , putting you to sleep . There is a road outside the territory, there is not much place to walk , but there was not enough time for that either. Gagra is 10 km away, the bus goes there every day. And there is everything your heart desires . We had a vacation with a child of 6 years old, we were very satisfied, there are a lot of children. It's more of a family hotel, I'd say. A good boarding house, a beautiful view from the 5th floor of the second building. There are 2 swimming pools, one three-level for children, including heated ones. We rested for a week at the Bagripsh boarding house from 30.08.24 and we want to share our impressions, both good and not so good. Let's start with positive impressions. -We liked the transfer, which MUST be paid for, we called in advance, were quickly met (we waited 15 minutes) and taken to the border, where they handed it over to the conductor. After crossing the border, they were just as quickly put in a car and taken to a boarding house. -The location is just super, an elevator descends to the sea, the views are magnificent, the sea is transparent and blue like in the picture even after high waves. There are 2-3 grocery stores and chicken shops nearby. - The staff is good, they do their job, but no more. Separately, I would like to mention the team of animators, funny, responsive, attentive, they keep the whole positive of the boarding house. -Buffet meals are good, the menu is varied, you can make up both a diet set and do not deny yourself anything and gain weight well. -Unlimited beer and wine (for "all inclusive") are good, but wine can have a relaxing effect, it's probably individual. Light filtered beer 4.0% alc. it is easy to drink, not bitter, it looks like Zhiguli. Very tasty unlimited donuts using the same system. It is especially convenient that it is issued not only in the bar on the territory of the boarding house but also in the beach bar. Now about the cons. - The room we were settled in was very tired, broken furniture, black mold in the shower room, rusty shelves, the smell of sewage and dampness that did not leave the shower room even after trying to ventilate. There were also a couple of cockroaches. I would like to pay special attention to the bed, it is just incredibly hard. You might think that sleeping on a hard bed is useful, but! If you weigh more than 80kg. and have not slept on a board covered with a sheet before, it will be extremely uncomfortable for you that I, my wife, woke up with pain in my crushed limbs and back. And in principle, the condition of the residential floors of the main building (corridors) leaves much to be desired, peeling plaster, lamps hanging on wires that are not burning… - In the declared gym, simulators (exercise bike / treadmill) do not work, but I do not think that it will be critical for someone, you are going on vacation. - There are elevators and they are great, but the disadvantage is that they get stuck periodically. We saw how people were stuck for an unknown amount of time, and then we experienced it ourselves, fortunately after a while he woke up, drove us through the floors without opening the doors and, lo and behold, let us out. - At the reception, they call different prices for services and impose insurance even if it is available from the tour operator, these situations were seen from the outside and encountered themselves. If you have the strength after the road, try to argue with them and maybe you will get to the truth. We just paid for everything.… In conclusion, I want to say that this place enjoys quite a lot of interest from both beginners and regular customers (of which there are quite a lot). If you want to visit a fairly quiet and peaceful place, away from major cities and are not demanding of the above disadvantages, then your vacation will be just wonderful.

The sea is cleaner, there are fewer people. Unlike the Krasnodar Territory, there is a place to go on excursions. For the first time I rested in a boarding house, I didn't even know what it was. Nature is richer, the real subtropics. Now about the boarding house. It can be seen that it was once a prestigious place, built on a grand scale. And you can see how the owners and staff are trying to somehow preserve what they have. But time has gone ahead and it will be difficult to catch up with him. The room was clean, good bed linen, good towels, there was soap in a package and a roll of toilet paper on the table. This roll did not fit the paper holder. I don't know why that is. There is a balcony, which is nice, and two chairs on the balcony, but the owners did not dare to put the cheapest small table. For drying, it is stretched from the air conditioner to the corner of the front of the balcony... rope. And so it is throughout our building. The soap holder in the shower is completely rusty. The equipment is complete: TV, air conditioning, refrigerator. Towels were changed, the room was cleaned. And they were cleaned carefully. The food is a three-course buffet. Here the owners saved a lot: chicken in all its forms, rare meat dishes, small local trout from fish, and more often just herring. Sliced, with bones. Of the seasonal fruits and vegetables, only plums. Of course, figs are not cheap, but they could probably cut watermelon.The level of the working dining room. But the food is good-quality. The elevators in the building, and it is multi-storey, worked every other time. A free bar where beer and wine are poured, free ice cream and donuts. I used it moderately, the wine and beer are not bad. They didn't lie, the sea is 200 meters away. But they did not mention that 200 horizontally and another 40-50 vertically: the terrain is mountainous. Part of the way by elevator (only one of the two worked, there were queues), part by a rather steep staircase: it's okay to go there, and back, especially in the heat, not very much. It is dangerous for cores. Promising to build a new building, it is possible to earn money. Why not put an escalator like in the subway? It's certainly not more expensive than an elevator. The staff was not rude, there was no such thing, but they did not try to be particularly helpful. I did not experience any problems in this regard. Abkhazians are hospitable people, but not helpful, and this has its own charm. Yes, the chefs are from Central Asia. And we got here...The contingent is mostly 70+, there are older ones, it feels like some people have been traveling here all their lives. There are a couple of small shops within walking distance, there is a barbecue to order. There is not a single cafe nearby. In general, in the format of a grandfather-grandmother, grandson or granddaughter; or an elderly couple is just the thing. Children are taken over by animators (they work actively) and you walk slowly to the sea and back. Probably, it's not bad for young couples either. It's kind of boring. Excursions are quite expensive (2500 adults, 2200 children) and oversaturated with optional places. It turned out that we spent half a day on wine and honey tastings, and we were given time to run to the Sukhumi Arboretum. And tourists certainly do not need the guide's explanations about the war with Georgia. We already know that Russia helped Abkhazia (and rightly so), but here it is... no need to rest. According to the results of my tour, everyone was tired as hell, of course, they loved lunch (they had lunch with their own money in Sukhum in an alternative cafe) and dinner and stood in traffic (yes, they are there). Everyone speaks Russian, even the Abkhazians among themselves, accept rubles everywhere, the prices on the market are pleasant, the cheeses are excellent, really, I haven't tried anything better, wine and vodka products, who cares, are inexpensive. A completely equal attitude on the part of the local population. I wanted to put 3 for the rest, but I thought: it's not easy for 255 thousandth Abkhazia to pull all these trade union resorts and palaces, but they are trying, which means sooner or later they will fix everything right. Nice beach, sun loungers, bar. The sea is clean and beautiful. The boarding house itself is located high on the mountain, but going down to the sea is not a problem, there is an elevator. I can add for recreation (for which I put the second star) that excursions can be quite interesting, and they tell you about many things, except if the guide is changed (for example, the guides of the monkey house or the botanical garden) - get ready for the fact that you will need to listen to monotonous speeches in the literal sense of fuck off and many words will try to make out for half an hour, or an hour, and no one will figure it out, and most of the time of the tour will simply be wasted. After cleaning, if you sleep until 9-10, or after, the cleaner will bang on your door until you open the door to her and send it in plain text. One of the main disadvantages for us is not to take tea either at the bar or somewhere in the hotel, if the dining room is closed, you need to go to the nearest cafe and take it there. If a towel or some kind of thing falls from the balcony, and you didn't notice it right away, you can forget about this thing. all sorts of chocks constantly swim up to the beach, and try to invite people on excursions to the "white rocks", "waterfall of lovers", "look at dolphins" - they simply breed people, but if you don't mind money, you can look at the stones two meters high, and at the stream, with a current like from a tap, although the beach seems to be considered the "territory of the hotel"… And also, about excursions - get ready for the fact that you can stay without lunch, without dinner, and you will have to have lunch and dinner at your own expense. On the ground floor, near the elevator, there are stalls with fruits, berries - we tried to take grapes, peaches - both were poisoned, and more than once, so I do not recommend taking fruits there. By transfer, it's better to get there yourself.. we sat for 30 minutes until they came to pick us up at the hotel, we stood for an hour waiting for a bus to be found after crossing the border, everything was as disorganized as possible, it was better to keep silent about punctuality in general. The rooms stink from the toilet, so it's better to breathe through your mouth 😉

There are always enough sun loungers , according to the all-inclusive system , towels are provided for the beach , pancakes , doughnuts with condensed milk and jam , ice cream , drinks , beer are always available with a red bracelet . The beach bar is also an all-inclusive service. The prices for paid drinks are also acceptable. I recommend this Boarding house to everyone, a partially new luxury building has been opened.

We had a rest in July 24. We lived in a 9-storey building on the 8th floor, overlooking the sea. However, half of the view was blocked by the building under construction. Transfer from the airport and back - everything is fine. We arrived late in the evening, we didn't leave them hungry. But there is no kettle in the room, even on request (note for those who like to have fun and afternoon tea), and there is no tea and coffee in the bar either. The room is modest, small (2 people are cramped), renovated for three, the air conditioning is noisy. Everything was fine with the cleaning - wet cleaning every three days. We bought water in a shop by the road - 5 liters / 100 rubles. We didn't hang out much at the bar, but the beer was fine, and I liked the wine. The only thing there were no complaints about was the kitchen - the food was simple, tasty and varied. Yes, the restaurant can be rightfully praised. All the disadvantages of the hotel are overlapped by the place, of course. The nature around is very beautiful, the place itself is quiet, the beaches are empty, the water is clean! There is one hair dryer for the entire boarding house, although in 2018 it was in every room, the minimum set of amenities is missing, although 6 years ago it was (without shower gel, shampoo, balm, this is generally an unacceptable luxury, it seems), slippers-bathrobes - all this simply does not exist. It is also practically impossible to put your cosmetics in the bathtub, there is nowhere to go. Bed linen is changed every 6 days, if you live for 7 days, they will not change at all. You can ask for toilet paper, they won't change it themselves either. Towels are changed more often, but they can be a little dirty. THE ROOM SMELLS AWFUL OF SEWAGE. IN ALL ROOMS. Luxury and standard are practically no different, the smell is everywhere. The reception staff - the girls Daria and Amina - is generally a separate topic! Children cuddle with them and do not wash their hands, the infection spreads throughout the boarding house. There were no dogs before. There's trouble in the toilet on the beach, it's even scary to talk. Nothing changes with the green bracelets - all the entertainment can be taken, beach towels are also given out, the food is the same. The girls at the reception are worse, yes. PLUS, I can also include a gorgeous view of the sea from the window, I repeat - the purest sea, the beach is good. You can see dolphins every day, they come as scheduled at 12 o'clock in the afternoon, it is very pleasant and fun to look at them, the soul rejoices. Excursions are offered at the boarding house from the tour company Prometheus, a representative of Anahit. A nice girl, organizes everything well, we liked the excursions very much, well done (but this is not the merit of the boarding house, of course). The transfer upon arrival at the boarding house came well, nothing and no one was expected, everything was on time. Back - the driver delayed a little, confused all the routes, thought about how to take people to the railway station and the airport. We thought for a long time, so much so that it turned out that we arrived at the airport not in 3-4 hours, but almost at the very check-in. It should also be taken into account. There is no free drinking water. The rooms have hot water all the time. However, the mattresses on the beds are very hard. We took a room on the mountain side and were always provided with silence and coolness. It is close to the sea, but steps and descent, with leg diseases and with young children will be problematic. We had red bracelets - all inclusive. Breakfast starts in season - from 10.06 at 7-30. Already in the morning there is red and white wine, compotes, and a variety of tea. The food is not bad, there is a choice. And pancakes and omelets and other yummy things. And hot dishes and snacks. It's very nice to start the day with a glass of wine)))) After breakfast, go to the sea. Take the elevator first, five minutes and you're on the beach. For the beach, a towel is given at the reception, there are many sun beds, you can sunbathe or hide from the sun under a canopy-which is the floor of a cafe on the beach. In the evening, the disco has the same music every day. I will not go to this boarding house anymore. Boring.

We had a rest in this boarding house for 7 days , and 3 of them were immediately spoiled.... upon check-in, we were given 2 rooms with mountain views..... although we booked with a sea view... there are 2 women at the reception, but I did not find out their names, since they are all sitting there without badges, we checked in around 12 at night, and they promised us that in the morning they would deal with this issue of relocation to the sea side. Since we booked through an operator here for a month, we had all the documents, and we gave them a voucher upon check-in, to which we were told at the reception that your tour operator had booked the mountains.... and then I immediately write to the tour operator. In the morning, I go down to the reception and ask about the rooms, and the woman immediately started talking to me in high tones, it was you who wrote the letter about us..and so on, after she threatened to evict us from the boarding house...on what basis!!!! She did not explain, she left and slammed the doors at the reception. Three days later, until I contacted our tour operator, we were given rooms on the sea side. It's just terrible how rude they are at the reception!!!! That's why I give them 1* They didn't even apologize for their behavior. I understand that they don't like it when people book through a tour operator))) ... by the way, they also have problems with the transfer, people sit for hours waiting for the rest to arrive from different cities, we waited for the rest of the people at 1:30. Because of this, we lost our time and checked into the boarding house at 12 at night. Although we came to them for the 3rd time to rest. Not with my foot anymore)))
