At the entrance, you are greeted by friendly girls, if everything is busy in the restaurant, you may be offered to sit in a small waiting area, a table with various national treats, tea is brought, I have never seen this anywhere, it is so cozy.
The restaurant itself is very large, we sat down at the bar. A very open and cool young man worked behind the bar, he told us about each dish, about the concept of the restaurant and attributes. It's like a mini tour.
The food is very tasty, the drinks too.

I've been there twice already. That's saying something. The kitchen is good. There is not much space in the hall, but it does not bother much. It's good to sit in the company and have a delicious meal. The kitchen is positioned as an authentic nomad cuisine. But judging by what the waiters tell us (and each of them can take a tour of the restaurant), the original cuisine is quite stingy with products. Therefore, there is rather a modern interpretation here. But in fact, this is more of a plus than a minus.

I read the reviews, we went and did not regret it. The food is all delicious without exception. There is a wine list with local wines. I was a little confused that the recording was only through the app (I had to download it), since I couldn't get through on the phone. And also, the visit time is typically limited to 2 hours. We did it, but I wonder what it would be like? Would we have been kicked out?. And so it is very beautiful, very tasty and wonderful staff.

Pros - Beautiful view, excellent service (waiter Adil). The food is not bad, without frills. As they say, not a masterpiece, but quite digestible (although prices were above average by Almaty standards for rather banal dishes). They brought compliments in the form of baursaks and chak-chak.
The cons are a meager and boring menu. Many dishes from the menu were missing. The impression was created that the national Kazakh cuisine is poor, which is not true. In fact, it was possible to diversify with Sai salad, orama, mini tandoor pastries and in butter.
Even my menu would have turned out to be more interesting than that of the chef of this restaurant. Sorry for the indiscretion
I recommend taking cocktails at this place and sitting on the terrace

I corrected the rating! I want to say right away that the rating is low only because of the reservation service and the reception of the restaurant. There is a maximum of 2 * and that's a stretch! Lack of reservation and lack of parking, I don't know how to get to the restaurant, but if they book a table and places are limited, then you need to at least inform and answer the phone, well, book parking if you know that there are no places for cars either.
Everything else in the restaurant is fantastic!!! The first is the location, of course such a location is just iconic and it's 5* at once! The views are amazing, there is a swing outside! The air is wonderful 🤩 The restaurant itself and the interior also deserves its 5* - very beautiful, authentic and interesting. About everything it is built of and when you will also be told. In general, they will tell you about everything and about the details of the dish and where they come from, and help you put them on plates correctly - the service in the restrane is 5 * plus! And of course the food - yes, someone may not have the most delicious meat, the perfect starter or dessert or author's cocktails, but for those who love meat and in general the national cuisine comes in - it will be a gastronomic paradise for 5 *.
In general, I recommend that you definitely go to this restaurant and enjoy the cool cuisine, view and service ... ... well, of course, provided that you can confirm registration and that you do not have to park somewhere unknown 😅
