We stayed at this hotel for the second time. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center.Many sights of the city, public transport stops, cafes are within walking distance. The room was a junior suite. The room is clean, there are no foreign smells, the bed linen is snow-white. The room had: slippers, bathrobe, shower accessories, toothpaste and brush, hair dryer, refrigerator, TV, air conditioning. The only drawback is that the furniture in the room is a little tired, not very modern. Breakfast was on the fifth floor, in a cafe with a beautiful view of the mountains and the cable car. The breakfasts are delicious, we didn't go hungry. Tea or coffee could always be ordered in the room. The hotel staff is very friendly, they always responded to any questions, requests and wishes. There is a pharmacy on the ground floor of the hotel. Which is also very convenient. Even just to measure the pressure. It was very comfortable for us to rest.

I stayed at this hotel on the recommendation of friends and did not regret it. The location of the hotel is quite convenient. Nearby there is a cable car (250 meters), Abai Avenue, Dostyk Avenue, monuments, universities, squares, Arman cinema, various restaurants, DOSTYK PLAZA shopping center. The ABAI metro station is nearby.
The hotel is new.
5 floors. The 5th floor is reserved for a bar-restaurant.
The rooms have enough space and furniture)) There is a refrigerator ( and a mini-bar, which is for an extra charge).payment ).
Towels were changed every day. We cleaned every day. And I note that the towels were great every time (!!): soft, new, fragrant))
There are also shampoos/gels, brushes, toothpaste, bathrobes, slippers and other things for shoe care.
Breakfast is from 7 to 11. Buffet (rice porridge, scrambled eggs, vegetables, cheese/ham, pastries, yoghurts).
You can also order room service from the menu on the desk in the room.
The bar on the fifth floor is open at night.
Fitness equipment, sauna, and swimming pool are free of charge for hotel clients.
Carpets are laid everywhere on the floors, so there is practically no noise of footsteps.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
PS. On my next visit to Almaty, I will definitely stay in ALMA.

Great location! Near the hotel "Kazakhstan", the funicular on the Kok Tobe, near the metro. The best location that could be. The hotel is small, very intimate. The economy single room is small, but there is enough of everything: both space and comfort. Beautiful view from the window of the "Kazakhstan". The room has everything: hairdryer, toiletries, slippers, TV, air conditioning, refrigerator. A comfortable full-length mirror at the exit. A comfortable bed. The price includes breakfast. Yes, they are uniform every day, but there is enough of everything: eggs, porridge, cottage cheese, yogurt, fruits, pastries, sausages, cheese. Great mountain view from the restaurant! You can also book a sauna for free. Excellent steam room and swimming pool, plenty of space. The reception staff is friendly. Yes, there is a construction site nearby. Keep in mind if you want to sleep in silence for a long time: construction work begins at 8-9 in the morning. There is no noise in the evening.

We stayed with our wife at the Alma Hotel from October 17 to October 22, 2024. We lived in room 401. From the window there is a view of the mountains and the TV tower. The location of the hotel is very convenient. The service and staff are at a high level, always feedback, ready to provide any assistance. The breakfasts are very tasty, the food is always fresh. The hotel is clean, cozy and warm. I really liked it, next time we will definitely choose only this hotel. I recommend it to everyone, you won't regret it. The rating of the hotel is "excellent".

A good budget place. It is very well located. There is a cable car and metro nearby, there are many places where you can have a snack, eat well and drink delicious coffee. Sooooo attentive and caring staff. Towels were changed every day. There was no change of linen for 5 nights. Soap, shampoo and dental toothpaste were updated daily. There are slippers. There is a safe in the room. The breakfasts are so-so. 2 porridges are not always tasty, classic sausages and eggs, a lot of different pastries. There was a salad. Tea and coffee bags. The downside can be called pretty shabby furniture. But the location of the hotel smoothed it out.

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. In general, I liked everything. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, just behind the Palace of the Republic. All public transport stops are nearby.
The economy single room is small, but I had enough space. They clean every day, shampoo soap, toothpaste are new every day, there are disposable slippers and a bathrobe.
There was a refrigerator-bar in the room, and you could put your own groceries if necessary. There is a cooler with cold and hot water in the hallway on the floor.
I paid for breakfast so I wouldn't have to look for a place to eat in the morning. I didn't like the breakfast. Porridge is very sweet, why put so much sugar, I don't understand, but if a person has diabetes? The sausages are tasteless, but in principle you will not stay hungry.
The disadvantage is the high audibility from the corridor. I was unlucky, the neighbors came back at night and made a lot of noise in the hallway.
Each guest can use the sauna for 1 hour per day. You need to order at the reception. I liked it very much. You can also warm up in the ice pool. In addition, there is a small gym, I did not use it.
In general, the hotel is very cozy, there is Wi-Fi, luggage storage, friendly staff.

A 5-storey hotel, where the entire fifth floor is given over to a bar and a breakfast place. The prices at the bar for food are affordable. Polite and friendly staff, coolers on each floor, cleaning every day, kettle, dishes, a meter-long refrigerator with a mini bar, bathrobes, green(!) slippers, TV, air conditioning. ATM and pharmacy on the 1st floor. A 10-minute walk or a 100-minute taxi ride away is a shopping center with a supermarket where you can buy a variety of semi-finished products of local bottling - very tasty orama with greens, potatoes and meat, dumplings with cheese, a bunch of salads and everything else. Next to the hotel there is also the House of the Republic with a square and fountains, as well as a cable car for climbing the Kok Tobe.

I lived for three nights using the bed&breakfast system. The room is shabby but clean. Quietly. I didn't want the service, I hung up "do not disturb" - no one bothered me, which is a plus for me! The breakfasts are excellent (buffet), but I didn't like the sausages. The hotel is a hundred meters from the cable car on Kok-Tobe, and in general there is a place to go around! In general, I would settle down again!

In a double room, if the beds are separate, it is not convenient to sleep in a single bed. The breakfasts are good. There is porridge, fried and boiled eggs. Bakery products. One minus. Instant coffee only. If you want coffee, you can order it at the bar for 1000 tenge. The sauna is open by appointment. It is necessary to contact the reception in 2 hours. Overall, it's not bad. Everything is fine! Location, service. Everything is clean and tidy. The breakfast is excellent. The restaurant is open 24 hours a day. What surprised me a little was that there is no tea set or at least drinking water in the rooms (cooler on the floor and water in the mine bar).

We have been staying at this hotel for eight years. Very convenient location. I like the size of the hotel, not too big, but not small, The complex has a restaurant, a spa, and a sauna. Very friendly friendly staff. Cleanliness and order everywhere. Of the minuses - furniture and lamps aging from time to time, worn doors. It would be great to upgrade and renovate, but it is clear that the prices for accommodation will already be of a different order.

Now about what I didn't like.
I lived on the 2nd floor. Naturally, there is no view from the window. The floors creak both in the hallway and in the room. The door in the room has a locking latch, but it works only when the door is open, closed - alas. There is a chain for this)))) A very non-standard solution for today))). Furniture (cabinet, table, wardrobe) in different styles, and it is clear that the production date differs by 5 years). How the bathroom is decorated has its own song. The blind tile makers did not have the necessary tools, apparently the seams (partially already opened) are 3-15 mm wide. If the water runs into the bathroom drain for a long time, it starts to leak (I think everything is on the sealant, but it has dried up). Those who will live in the summer, it is better to stock up on earplugs. Because you will have to turn on the air conditioner, and it dates back to the early 2000s. It is built into the window. It cracks terribly)))
I will separately highlight the "continental" breakfast, which is not very diverse. And although it is constantly, usually, a sign of skill - apparently not in this case. I know what to compare breakfast with, because I travel quite a lot.
If it wasn't for the cleanliness and the staff, I would have given it 3 stars, but it's a solid four.
Yes, it is also convenient that there is a Jusan Bank ATM in the lobby. Owners of Russian Union Pay cards from Gazprombank can withdraw money there.

There are many hotels in Almaaty. But most of them reminded me of some Dagomys, Loo, Lazorevskoye of the early 2000s.But this hotel is normal. Clean, delicious breakfast, friendly girls at the reception. The air conditioner is working normally. It is located in the center, but on a quiet street. I boldly recommend it. It's really not bad. At first it seemed expensive, but Almaty, the city is not cheap and it is not correct to compare it with the same Astana (where a room twice as good will cost twice as much).

We were from July 9th to July 17th. The hotel is in the center, breakfast until 11 am, cleaning every day. The staff is polite. There is a gym, it is not big and some simulators are not in working condition. There is a sauna and a swimming pool, you just need to sign up, but we never got there because we were on excursions. But as a hotel supervisor, I had a lot of questions about the room in the past. I'm writing everything off as a product. The staff is very friendly. Relatively normal breakfasts with mountain views. It's a pity that the room has a kitchen, but there are no dishes. But if we take prices as an example, I can only compare the hotels of the Rosa Khutor resort and some hotels in Adler. With a larger room set in Sochi, you can pay less than at the Alma hotel. The comparison may be incorrect, as I do not compare it with other hotels in Kazakhstan. The general impression is that if possible, I would like to go there again)))

I thank the Alma hotel for its hospitality, we rested here for 4 days, the room was an apartment, everything you needed was in the room, especially I note the presence of a bath, cozy blankets, Wi-Fi, TV with Internet access, breakfast with a choice of dishes, delicious and varied. The hotel is close to the city center, the price is affordable, clean and beautiful!
