I'll leave this review and feel like a guy who wants to leave a date without offending a girl)))
The good things come first.
The location is very convenient, most of the necessary locations (shops, cafes, banks) are within walking distance. Friendly and courteous staff. Clean, daily cleaning without reminders. Affordable. In general, it is almost ideal for business trips. Yes, the room has a bathroom. It is also very cool that a sauna and a gym are included in the price. I won't say what they are, I wasn't there)))
Now about what I didn't like.
I lived on the 2nd floor. Naturally, there is no view from the window. The floors creak both in the hallway and in the room. The door in the room has a locking latch, but it works only when the door is open, closed - alas. There is a chain for this)))) A very non-standard solution for today))). Furniture (cabinet, table, wardrobe) in different styles, and it is clear that the production date differs by 5 years). How the bathroom is decorated has its own song. The blind tile makers did not have the necessary tools, apparently the seams (partially already opened) are 3-15 mm wide. If the water runs into the bathroom drain for a long time, it starts to leak (I think everything is on the sealant, but it has dried up). Those who will live in the summer, it is better to stock up on earplugs. Because you will have to turn on the air conditioner, and it dates back to the early 2000s. It is built into the window. It cracks terribly)))
I will separately highlight the "continental" breakfast, which is not very diverse. And although it is constantly, usually, a sign of skill - apparently not in this case. I know what to compare breakfast with, because I travel quite a lot.
If it wasn't for the cleanliness and the staff, I would have given it 3 stars, but it's a solid four.
Yes, it is also convenient that there is a Jusan Bank ATM in the lobby. Owners of Russian Union Pay cards from Gazprombank can withdraw money there.
There are many hotels in Almaaty. But most of them reminded me of some Dagomys, Loo, Lazorevskoye of the early 2000s.But this hotel is normal. Clean, delicious breakfast, friendly girls at the reception. The air conditioner is working normally. It is located in the center, but on a quiet street. I boldly recommend it. It's really not bad. At first it seemed expensive, but Almaty, the city is not cheap and it is not correct to compare it with the same Astana (where a room twice as good will cost twice as much).
An excellent hotel, excellent living conditions, a good bar on the fourth floor, there is its own Parking. Guests from South Korea prefer this hotel because there is a Korean cuisine cafe nearby
A good hotel. Homely, quiet. The staff is attentive. From the windows of the restaurant (where you will be deliciously fed) it offers a fascinating view of the mountains, which you can admire for hours. I recommend this hotel to visit.
Pros: delicious breakfasts, beautiful view from the hotel, convenient location.
Cons: there is no table, only one bedside table, nowhere to sit, there is only a bed, towels are changed, and the rest of the room is cleaned infrequently
Excellent hotel, in the very center of the city, everything is within walking distance, very clean and friendly staff. There are many restaurants around and a funicular within a 5-minute walk.
Nice hotel, cozy, in the center. I liked the breakfasts very much, I went to dinner too. The restaurant is on the 5th floor, the Windows have a good view of the mountains, the cable car
A good budget hotel with delicious breakfasts. The staff is very friendly and charming. I had a compact room, and I didn't have enough furniture in it, a banal table and a chair to work on a laptop. However, that was a year ago. Maybe things are different now)
We were from July 9th to July 17th. The hotel is in the center, breakfast until 11 am, cleaning every day. The staff is polite. There is a gym, it is not big and some simulators are not in working condition. There is a sauna and a swimming pool, you just need to sign up, but we never got there because we were on excursions. We will definitely visit next time.
I liked everything. Cozy, clean, delicious. The restaurant is on the fifth floor. A comfortable smoking room. The Koktobe lift is a 10-minute walk away. I recommend it!
A tired hotel. Well, the location seems to be excellent, but there are mostly pretentious and expensive pubs nearby. From this point of view, it is better to live in the area of the Central Stadium. And buses with excursions around the neighborhood leave mostly from there.
The gym equipment is all broken. The spa is open, but the security guard at the reception needs to be taught the culture of communication with visitors. The rooms are large and spacious. Mountain view from the window.
Overall, it's not bad. More precisely, the expectations were worse. Comfortable beds (the room was a double with separate beds). But as a hotel supervisor, I had a lot of questions about the room in the past. I'm writing everything off as a product. The staff is very friendly. Relatively normal breakfasts with mountain views. It's a pity that the room has a kitchen, but there are no dishes. But if we take prices as an example, I can only compare the hotels of the Rosa Khutor resort and some hotels in Adler. With a larger room set in Sochi, you can pay less than at the Alma hotel. The comparison may be incorrect, as I do not compare it with other hotels in Kazakhstan. The general impression is that if possible, I would like to go there again)))
Excellent hotel, everything is clear , prices are adequate, plus a sauna, a swimming pool, a gym, I will definitely come again, thank you

The hotel was attracted by its price and location. Since there was a late flight, we checked in late . The staff worked perfectly, everything went quickly and without any questions.
Breakfast in the morning was not impressive . The hotel is generally not bad for an overnight stay.
I thank the Alma hotel for its hospitality, we rested here for 4 days, the room was an apartment, everything you needed was in the room, especially I note the presence of a bath, cozy blankets, Wi-Fi, TV with Internet access, breakfast with a choice of dishes, delicious and varied. The hotel is close to the city center, the price is affordable, clean and beautiful!
My husband and I stayed at the hotel from May 30th to June 12th. We really enjoyed it in every way. It is located near the center. And very close to the cable car on Kok Tobe. The hotel is very clean and cozy. A good restaurant, breakfasts without much variety, but tasty and satisfying.
The rooms have everything for a comfortable stay.
As for the staff, they are wonderful. Everyone is very polite, friendly and helpful.
I would especially like to mention the receptionists Bahar and Gulzara. At first, we were put in a small room and the windows overlooked a noisy construction site. The next day we were kindly changed to a great room. It is more spacious and has windows on the street and a bit of a Kok Tobe. We also couldn't pay for the room right away. We were given the opportunity to pay for it within the next day. You could always contact them with any question and get advice and recommendations.
Our wonderful maid, Aselya, did a drastic cleaning in the room every day. She changed our towels every day. Every evening, after walking, we returned to a cozy room, smelling fresh and clean with a bed always made and the necessary accessories in the bathroom.
The waiter named Ratmir in the restaurant also copes with his duties perfectly during the daily breakfasts. Promptly provides all the necessary information and provides fast and high-quality service. A very attentive and courteous young man. Thank you all very much for the warm welcome and high-quality service!
The rooms are good, the breakfasts are excellent, the room service staff is a little rude, they begin to teach you how to live. In general, an excellent hotel in the center of Almaty
I really liked the hotel, despite the fact that it is 3 stars. The rooms are different. The hotel is clean, and what kind of view opens from the windows of the restaurant, which is located on the 5th floor, to the mountains. It is impossible to take your eyes off. The staff is very friendly and solves any issues with respect to the guests.
I had an economy class room. Comfortably. I especially liked the location of the hotel. Right next to the cable car and it is convenient to get there by bus.
Not a bad hotel. Good location. But the rooms are tired, old Soviet-era window air conditioners. The breakfasts are not very good. But it will do for business trips.
One of the advantages is a good location, a more or less normal price, there are breakfasts. There is also a sauna and a mini pool, but I was not there.
Of the minuses, breakfast is very simple, you will get bored on the second day, there was a loud renovation at the hotel from 11 to 17.
Excellent hotel the rooms are served very well, the bed linen and towels are snow-white, the restaurant is very tasty, the polite staff is very convenient location, very tasty croissants are served for breakfast
A great and cozy hotel. It is located in a very convenient location for tourists and visitors to the city. I especially liked the bar on the 5th floor 👍👍👍
Fully justifies three stars. Therefore, do not expect miracles. Economy room, in fact, very economical)), you can live starting from the junior suite.
The location is quite convenient, the staff is friendly, the view of the mountains.
Breakfasts, of course, will not leave you hungry, but everything is cold, monotonous and without a soul at all.
If you are a business traveler with a small budget, then you are here. The hotel has a solid 3 stars. Clean, polite staff, ready to help in any situation. They can print and scan documents. Excellent wifi. In the morning, a modest but delicious breakfast. Great location. Abaya Street, with the metro of the same name, is within walking distance. There are many cafes. There is a Tarhun restaurant next to the hotel. The price / quality in it is the most adequate in the whole area. It is possible to order room service. Find out more at the hotel reception. Round-the-clock exchange office in the Kazazstan hotel (10 minutes on foot). There is a bus to Medeo from Dostyk Street (15-20 minutes on foot). Nearby is Kok-Tobe Park with a cable car. While living in Alma, you can meet the affordable price for accommodation and enjoy all the delights of housing in the center. I recommend this hotel. The only drawback is that there is no decent coffee at breakfast. But it seemed like a coffee shop was opening nearby.
A very good hotel! The most interesting thing is that it is possible to book a sauna with a swimming pool for one room per day for free. Very pleasant breakfasts and a nice restaurant on the top floor with panoramic views and incredible walls in the evenings!!!!
I really liked the Hotel, it's not the first time I've stayed. I would like to mention the very polite responsible staff, especially the administrator 👍
The second thing I want to note when compared with such a high cost and stars of a hotel is heaven and earth, the rooms are CLEAN, the bedding is as new, pleasant, the bathrooms, and the cleaning is at the highest level. That's the most important thing I'm looking at. (there are no tobacco-type odors in the rooms, clean and tidy). A nice bonus is breakfast included, 😊the staff is a waiter guy, very kind and polite 👍 there is a small summer house, you can sit in addition to the room itself. I recommend ❤
The price includes breakfast, gym, swimming pool and sauna. The rooms are a bit outdated, but in general it will do. The bed linen is fresh, the view from the window is good, it is not noisy. There is a good breakfast location on the fifth floor.
The hotel was chosen based on reviews. We did not lose. Everything turned out to be within walking distance for us. These are the metro, public transport stops, and the Drama Theater named after him. Lermontov, hotel Kazakhstan, where there is a high-rise restaurant, Kok Tobe station, etc. About the hotel itself: clean, cozy, spacious rooms. Cleaning every day. We were in October, the weather was gorgeous, up to 24 degrees! There was no heating yet, but the room was comfortable, even the room was ventilated. There was also a conder, but they did not use it. They didn't use the TV either. Everything worked, the shower did not leak, bathrobes, towels were available, the neighbors did not bother. We visited the sauna, which is included in the room rate. As it turned out, they give it for an hour. The girls at the reception always responded to our requests and questions. They told me where to eat, how to get there. About breakfast: comprehensive, with no options for every day. Additionally, you can take porridge and cottage cheese. The cottage cheese with sour cream was amazing, tender, and fresh. For children, balls and cereal with milk; tea, coffee bags. There is no coffee machine. The sadness. I would even have refused breakfast, but the tariff did not allow it. It's not a problem to eat delicious food and taste national cuisine in such a beautiful city!
In general, I recommend the hotel for several reasons, such as location, accessibility of transport, size and cleanliness of the rooms, there is a restaurant on the top floor. The reception and service work smoothly. I would like to add a coffee machine and review the tariffs. But this is a tourist's wish.
Thank you all.
The Alma Hotel is located in the most expensive area of Almaty. The hotel has 34 rooms. Not expensive. The hotel has two saunas, a gym, a billiard room and a Ribs'bar. I like this hotel. He has a great view of Kok-tobe and the mountains🏞️🇰🇿
A simple hotel. In general, everything is clean.
The breakfasts are really meager. The bar does not work periodically. In the lobby on the 4th floor there is a very strong smell of air freshener, the smell comes into the room. Convenient on-site parking.
Quite a strong hotel, convenient location near the ski lift on the Kok-tobe. Breakfast is no frills, but delicious. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly.
This fall we stayed with elastic in this hotel for 10 days. Breakfast is included in the price. Standard, but quite tasty. There's a lot on the bigger platter. Plus the guts, as we like. The price also includes a sauna with a swimming pool in the basement of the building. We've been there twice. The room is cozy and clean. The windows overlook the park and the cable car. There is a restaurant on the top floor. We ordered dinner in the room. It's pretty tasty. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There are no covid restrictions in the hotel. The hotel is surprisingly close to almost all the attractions. Everywhere you can walk no longer than 30 minutes on foot. There is a lot of public transport nearby. Overall, the hotel made a very positive impression. We recommend you to visit.
A pleasant hotel for relaxation, was in the period from 15 to 19 in a luxury room, the only minus is the refrigerator literally "clogged" with a mini-bar, which made it inconvenient to put something of your own.
I liked EVERYTHING very much:
clean, cozy, polite, convenient, location, food, cost...
In case of a repeat trip, I will DEFINITELY come back here ...
And recommend it to my friends....!!!!
The hotel is within walking distance from the center.Clean, two beds, a large room.Breakfast in the morning.dairy products.bakery products.everything is delicious and enough.I recommend you to visit
A very cozy and democratic hotel in the city center, friendly staff, has everything you need, including a hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers, safe; decent breakfast. And excellent price-quality ratio! I highly recommend it! Svetlana
