We have been to Aktau twice with a difference of two years. Nothing has changed from the word at all. There are no duty fries, only matchmaking and a few chocolates) there is only one cafe. The departure lounge is small, as is the airport itself. Nothing temporary, dirty. And there is also a strange system of passage through customs control. We checked in for the flight, but it was impossible to pass through the customs control zone, we waited until everyone handed over their luggage and then a crowd of some senior in the form of all scarlet on the green corridor) in general, this is the airport in the village, so that it would be more understandable.

There is Wi-Fi. It didn't work for me, it worked for a friend. The waiting area is large, there is a place to sit down. There is a cafe, but I don't know the prices, I think everything is OK there. There is a dytik, but very small, it does not make sense, but it is there, which is important. Alcohol, cigarettes and a very small selection of some perfume. In general, everything is very good.
I don't know in the arrival area via WiFi. But there is definitely an exchange and taxi drivers are at the exit. They can take rubles, but it's better to ask. It turns out to be more expensive than calling a Yandex taxi, but if you are without communication and money, it is very convenient.

We were here once - on the way from Aktau to Moscow a year ago. There was a flight delay, and when they decided on the issue of meals before departure, they found out that it was much cheaper and tastier to eat in the dining room, which is located at the entrance to the airport, NOT in the terminal building (there is a cafe with a meager selection and a fairly high price tag). A small airport. There are both domestic departures (second floor) and international departures (1st floor) in the same building. Everything is side by side, everything is accessible. Cafes, toilets, information desk - everything is for people. The only problem is with Wi-Fi. If you do not have a Kazakh SIM card, then it is unrealistic to connect. The dutik is small. There are plenty of charging sockets:) All in all, it's not bad at all. After our huge airports, it's a thrill when the airport is small, cozy and everything is within walking distance :)
