Batumi International Airport in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara is a small but modern airport that leaves a positive impression due to its convenient location and excellent service.
✔ Infrastructure: The airport is not too big, but it has all the necessary services. There are comfortable waiting rooms, cafes and shops where you can buy souvenirs or have a snack before the flight. Despite its compact size, the airport is equipped with modern technologies, which makes travel convenient.
✔ Service: The staff is very polite and ready to help with any questions. The check-in and check-out process usually takes a little time, which makes your stay at the airport as convenient as possible. Airport staff speak several languages, which also helps travelers feel comfortable.
The process of passing through control: All stages of passage, from registration to customs control, pass quite quickly. Border control and security are organized efficiently, queues are rare, especially during off-peak flights.
Transport accessibility: The airport is located near the center of Batumi, which makes it convenient for tourists. You can get to the city by taxi or buses. Transfers are also available, which is very convenient for those who are not familiar with the local routes.
✔ Prices: Prices for food and drinks at the airport are reasonable, especially for such a small international airport. The shops offer a selection of souvenirs and local goods at reasonable prices.
In general, Batumi International Airport is a convenient place for arrival and departure, which provides a comfortable trip with good service. I recommend it to those who fly to Batumi or neighboring regions. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The airport in Batumi is not very big. The staff is polite, clean and tidy. There is a large waiting room, a duty-free shop, a cafe, and you can buy a pie for the road. Charge your phone in the waiting room. The plane is right next to the airport, so we walk to it. There is only one runway leading to the sea. It takes off right over the sea, beauty.
A small, cozy airport. Friendly staff. Attention to safety. Clear. Convenient transport accessibility.
Bad password-free WiFi.
Exchangers. Humble duty free.
Non-bus loading on the plane.
Beautiful views during takeoff and landing!
It's a small airport, but cozy. All procedures were always very fast and comfortable. There is a restaurant in Khona with delicious food, I especially liked khachapuri in Adjarian style (with Georgian lemonade)
I really liked the airport, no buses, turnstiles, etc., you leave the building and immediately go to the plane. It's a very fast game, I recommend visiting a nice cafe, delicious pizza, and a small, in a good way provincial airport. The city is 15 minutes away. Everything is very convenient. I really like Batumi! Georgia ❤
We liked everything. We landed well, took a walk along the runway. The girls at customs are very polite. Seriously, it's comfortable, clean, and pleasant.
A small but cozy airport in Batumi. Friendly staff. Excellent business lounge with fresh food and a variety of drinks. Everything is measured, without fuss. Photos and videos are attached)
A gorgeous little convenient airport. We arrived, the plane was alone on the takeoff, we walked to the terminal in 1 minute. There were several exit windows in the terminal, and in 10 minutes all passengers passed through passport control. The luggage was unloaded quickly, I also bought a SIM card for 15 lari for 7 days with unlimited, inserted it into my phone and ordered a taximeter to the hotel for 10 lari using the Yandex taxi app.
On the way back, we also quickly checked in and boarded. There is a dutifrey, a small one, of course, not like in Vnukovo) but Kindzmarauli and tableron were bought.
Unfortunately, we didn't have time to enter the business lounge.
It's a small airport, we were surprised. The staff is pleasant. The location is good. You can even stand on the shore and watch the planes taking off and landing (although you need to watch the departure and arrival times, because planes don't fly here often).
The airport is compact and cozy, clean and has everything to wait for boarding. However, expensive coffee is almost 19 lari, which is about 500 rubles.
Interesting view from the airport window.
Don't come in advance, as there's not much to do here. Pre-flight procedures are fast, everything helps. There are a lot of exchangers in the arrival area with simply extortionate exchange rates. But everywhere there is an inscription "without commission". If you need gel, it is better to arrange with the taxi driver that you will stop at any exchange in the city on the way. In any case, do not change the money here. At the same time, the reverse exchange rate is acceptable, that is, it is normal to arrive at the airport for departure with lari and change them to another currency here.
A small airport. It's easy to find everything. There's not much to do, one duty free is not too big, one restaurant is very expensive, and half of the menu is missing. And when I tried to order an aperol, I was told that it would cost (in rubles if) about 3,000, since they needed to open the champagne (apparently, they meant prosecco) purely for the sake of it. I had to drink Kindzmarauli, alas, there was only one glass of this wine in a restaurant in the middle of Georgia, I had to take the second glass of Saperavi. There were no complaints about the airport's operation
A small home airport. There are few people, but everything is very fast without crowds and queues - from registration and passport control to boarding the plane. There is a Dutch-free shop, a tax-free refund point, and even a business lounge with a decent selection of snacks and drinks, including wine.
A small airport, like in Minvody or Stavropol. It is convenient to get there by minibus, about 20 minutes from the center. Everything is clear at check-in and boarding. We walked to the plane from the gate)) The views at takeoff are beautiful!
A pleasant airport. We passed the face control quickly, and we also received the suitcase quickly. It is very good that buses and minibuses run from the airport to the city. It's just a pity that my plane was at night and I had to take a taxi.
The airport is very small and clean. Compact and comfortable - from check-in to the ramp. There is a small Duty-Free shop and a business lounge in the clean area. There are few check-in counters. There are currency exchange offices at the airport.
I was pleasantly surprised by the absence of the need to ride buses - walking to and from the plane through the fresh air does not bother at all.
I was surprised by the proximity to Batumi. From the hotel to the airport 15 min. There are no unnecessary barriers. We drove up quickly, disembarked and saw our daughter off. Cool!
The airport itself is normal. The employees were unpleasantly surprised. Hand luggage 55×40×25. We always flew with this suitcase and there were NEVER any questions from any airline. They flew away from Moscow without any problems, and the miracle workers decided to arrange a circus at the Batumi airport.. it turned out to be a 56 cm suitcase, including wheels and a handle. .. I ran around the airport floor for a tape measure to measure.. As a result, I was nervous until I threatened to complain and go to court.. After that, we decided that ONE centimeter wasn't so scary..
In one hour at the airport I faced three unpleasant situations at once:
1. I sat down in a cafe to answer a message — they immediately came up to me and said: either order or leave. I didn't even have time to think that I wanted to.
2. I left my suitcase at the table, went to buy coffee — they started looking for the "forgotten" owner, although less than a minute had passed.
3. I was sitting with my fellow travelers, asked to look after my suitcase, went out for a smoke, and they ran out to look for me.
On the one hand, it's good that they're being watched, but it's very unreasonable.
But the worst part is the security check. I was literally groped from head to toe. I asked her not to touch her breasts, and the woman began to touch her breasts and thighs even more actively. I came out feeling humiliated and shocked. I've never encountered anything like this before, although I fly all the time. At the same time, I was wearing a regular tight T-shirt.
I really hope that no one else will find themselves in this situation. This has to change.
A very small airport! But cozy! There are not enough seats for everyone, but after passing the inspection, a large hall opens! The location is very convenient!
A small airport within walking distance from the city, which operates for departure and arrival in the Russian Federation, a spacious hall, there is a Duty-free, business lounge
very vigilant workers, they inspect thoroughly!! the toilet is quite clean, there is a smoking room. The waiting rooms are not big, but it was comfortable.
A good airport is small, but everything is there! And very clean. Everything is calm, logical, understandable. There is free Wi-Fi. Dutik. A cafe where you can drink coffee and smoke! There is also a mini-cafe with low prices for the airport and a couple of tables. There is a business lounge (xs that is inside). There are a lot of waiting chairs, some of them are soft.
And, of course, the view of the mountains 🔥
A great new small airport, there are few flights, so there is not much traffic. Everything is clean, after passing the inspection and the border there is a small departure hall, there is a Duty-free, a cafe, a shop with snacks and drinks, bar counters near the window for working on a laptop with sockets, the main thing is a smoking room with normal ventilation. If it's not the season, then all the formalities can be completed in 15-20 minutes) Also, the airport is very close to the city, there are many minibuses and taxis from GEL 10. There is also a huge plus - free Wi-fi!
A small airport, not far from the city (you can get from new Batumi in 7-10lari). There are quite enough places to wait. I am sorry for the inconvenience of paying for excess baggage (only GEL cash, no cards are accepted).
My favorite! It's a great airport, not big, compact, and everything is clear! There is a cafe, everything is clean. There is a smoking room in the departure area.
It's a small airport, but the organization of the process is excellent, both for ticket processing and screening. A gorgeous business lounge in the international sector.
Unfortunately, all the good impressions of the city of Batumi and its inhabitants were fatly crossed out during the forced pastime at the airport. There was no trace of goodwill on the part of the staff, on the contrary, the indifference of some, allegedly not understanding Russian (facial expressions indicated the opposite), the barely restrained hostility of others.
A small airport. The staff is very polite, answers questions, helps. There is one small snack cafe in the departure area, the assortment is not large. There is a dute free store. Wine prices are much higher. And you can approach this airport if you walk along the embankment, if you are lucky, you will see an airplane take off - this is not an unforgettable sight!
It's a pretty comfortable small airport. She quickly passed through customs and passport control. I was surprised that initially there were no frames with metal detectors at the airport entrance.
They searched me as if I were going to escape from prison, despite the fact that I only had hand luggage :) In general, it is a small, modest, clean airport. For the most part, everyone is polite and calm. Mega-dora duty free, but where is not the same?)
Everything was terrible. Not organized.
The staff are not friendly, arrogant, as they pointed out the place to the dogs, they do not speak the language. The Moscow flight was announced in one Georgian language, and after the landing was announced, they stood for more than an hour until they were escorted to the plane.
At the same time, information about the boarding of another flight was displayed on the screen, which created a fuss and excitement.
I had to walk across the entire field to get to the plane.
Of course, the airport is very small, friends, do not change the currency at the airport, the exchange rate is very unfavorable. The city is full of exchangers, in rows along the streets one after another, all have signs with the exchange rate, choose the best one and change it without problems.
Batumi airport is very small, navigation is very simple. It's not a long drive from the city (I drove for 17 minutes). Queues usually move quickly, customs is working fine, There is a Wi-Fi connection, you can connect for free. Duty Free is also available, you can buy souvenirs if you have money left. However, it should be borne in mind that the prices there will be higher and the assortment is not particularly rich. Overall, the airport left a good impression👌🏽
It's a small airport, but there's a business lounge. However, the hot dishes, including tea, turned out to be absolutely cold ((. But I make allowances that it was at 4 a.m., probably we didn't wake up. Although the operating mode is round the clock
A convenient compact airport. Everything you need is there, everything is working as it should. Only with a strong wind can the plane not accept it, it's lucky, it can be stormy in winter.
A good airport for a resort town. Everything is clean at the airport, fast service, careful control before boarding. But if you want to have a snack before the flight, then you need to keep in mind that everything in the cafe is expensive and the quality of the food leaves much to be desired.
Well, it's a sooo compact airport, but it's an international one. A huge plus is the availability of a city bus stop right at the exit from the airport.
I advise you not to arrive at this airport exactly in three hours) all points can be bypassed in a maximum of 30 minutes.
you can safely arrive in an hour.
They usually don't ask for hand luggage at all and never weigh it.😂
