An incredible story of a series of accidents and misunderstandings of the crowd and their consequences. It was very painful for me to hear the story of the tragedy that happened in 1999 I believe that the monument was able to convey the pain of the tragedy.

A very beautiful memorial near the entrance to the Nemiga metro station, where a massive stampede took place in the underpass on May 30, 1999. It was installed on May 30, 2002 in the form of 53 bronze flowers scattered along metaphorical steps and a small chapel with a metal memorial plaque inside. The author of the monument is the Belarusian sculptor and architect Mikhail Mikhailovich Inkov. Flowers are a symbol of tragically lost girls (40 roses) and men (13 tulips).
