It is not possible to check in for a flight via the Internet, so the administration recommends arriving at the airport three to four hours in advance, while registration actually starts in an hour. People have been standing in line for three hours, there are only five chairs for the whole hall. And after registration, there is a huge queue again, because there is only one door with a frame for boarding!
But I really liked my vacation in Montenegro! Very friendly and courteous people. Great service. Reasonable prices.
A small-town airport. On the one hand, it's good - you can arrive an hour before departure and calmly, without hurrying and straining, check in, check in, go through security and board the plane. On the other hand, there is no online check-in and arriving at the airport to find out that the flight has been transferred to Podgorica, and the departure is in 1h20m (the real story). Even upon arrival - if there is a gusty crosswind, it is very tickling to watch the pilot trying to get into the lane (especially when sitting inside the plane) :-)
Compact (but this is rather a plus), for 80 cents / hour you can park your car in the guest parking lot. Among the disadvantages: a very modest waiting room, there is nowhere to even sit down, meticulous staff... in general, not the worst airport))
It's not a bad airport, but not for the number of flights they've picked up. As a result, the waiting room has benches on the street, a crowd of people at the entrance to the sterile area, where it is very stuffy and crowded, you wait standing up. And upon arrival in Domodedovo, it turned out that several passengers' suitcases were missing. They were found a day later, safe and sound... I think the problem is the congestion at Tivat airport.
The airport is very small. There are few rest chairs in the departure hall, not even enough for half the plane. It turned out that passengers on 2 more planes were waiting with us in this hall. People were sitting on the floor wherever they had to. I can't say anything good about duty free either, unfortunately, it's small, meager, and the prices are much higher than in Moscow.
The most terrible airport..A small room, at the entrance to which the queue for registration immediately begins. It's good that there is a cafe where you can have a snack while waiting in line. The departure lounge is too small, the air conditioning is not working well. The duty-free shop is located there and is a narrow corridor with shelves of goods on both sides. Prices are exorbitant, there is a queue at the checkout.
It is very small, there are always a lot of people, it is almost impossible to sit down. There is a priority pass, but it is very small, I have never been able to use it. Dutifrey is cramped and expensive. Public transport does not directly pass by the airport terminal. You can only really leave by taxi. A taxi is 2-3 times cheaper if ordered in advance (the Internet is full of phones, the same qiwitaxi is a little expensive). To estimate the approximate price: the usual taxi price is about 1 euro per 1 km.
Yes, it's small, cramped and stuffy. But it's impossible to get lost, the runway is here, get out and get on the plane like on a regular bus. The location is wonderful, at least in one direction, at least in the other. If I love Montenegro, then the disadvantages of the airport do not bother me either. And what kind of views are breathtaking when landing....
A small airport, open only during daylight hours. In summer, it is difficult to cope with passenger traffic, boarding and disembarking - on foot. They have already written a lot about the departure hall - stuffy, cramped, uncomfortable Duty-Free. But what to do, you need to know about it and prepare.
An airport that accepts everyone who wants to relax on the Adriatic. But the airport itself is about nothing, we have it better somewhere in Arkhangelsk. I don't want to offend Arkhangelsk, I've been there several times, I remember fond memories from 30 years ago.
We used this airport this summer. Upon arrival, we quickly passed the control and received our luggage, the airport is like an airport. But we flew to Moscow - I'll remember it for the rest of my life. The airport is small and obviously can not cope with the load, in the summer the heat was under 40, more than one air conditioner did not work, flights were delayed, the exits were changed three times. There were not enough seats, people sat on the floor. How I survived this nightmare.... but thank God everything ends at some point.
This year there were more cafes and delicious burgers.... the huge queue for Victory somehow quickly dissipated.... surprisingly, 1.5 liters of water was not taken away, but after passing the border guards they got into a real HELL-people sat, stood, lay down.... they had to breathe "every other time" because there was no ventilation... Stuffiness of course is a direct business card of Tivat airport.... come up with something🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
A small compact airport, equipped with everything you need. It is quite acceptable for a small country. Considering that I am simply delighted with Montenegro itself, then the impressions from the airport are good.
Well, then... I finally got to the review of this airport. The airport is small, check-in takes place two hours before departure. But that's not the problem we have. Since we had a connecting flight in Moscow, we asked the girl at the check-in desk if we should receive our luggage upon arrival in Moscow? They asked more than once, they asked 5 times, to which they received the answer NO, DO NOT, IT FLIES FROM YOU TO YOUR FINAL DESTINATION! Ha ha ha, what fools we are! Not only were we unable to check in online from Tivat for the next flight, although there are tons of emails saying check in, when you try to check in, they write, they say, your main flight has not yet been completed-wait until the flight ends. But upon arrival in Moscow, we were surprised at the check-in desk for our flight home. Where is your luggage? the girl asked, to which we handed her the stubs, which indicated that the luggage was flying home, that is, further. Imagine our surprise when we were told that we needed to get the luggage and that it was safely spinning on the tape)))). Great! In quotes! The girl at the check-in desk did not offer us to check in for our flight, and they also did not tell us that we could then check our luggage after we picked it up from customs. And there's not much time, 45 minutes for everything!!!! 45 minutes, yes, they issue passes to the customs zone for 30 minutes or more. AAAAAAA, panic, panic, panic. Fortunately, we managed to, but with burning asses, we rushed all over Domodedovo, with a 4-year-old child in our arms. Rough. In general, if you are flying from Tivat on a connecting flight in Moscow and even if you are assured not to receive your luggage, it is better to clarify this information upon arrival, so as not to be like us in such a situation.
It is a very small and inconvenient airport. It is absolutely not adapted to the flow of tourists that passes through it. The most trash is the departure lounge. It is very small and stuffy by itself. There are not enough places for everyone. One meager shop that is packed to bursting with people. There is no food or drinks. In any form. No cafes, no vending machines! Therefore, before departure, I advise you to have a good meal, bring water with you and be mentally prepared for a very difficult boarding flight.
A normal airport by the standards of Montenegro. The disadvantage of the last 2 years is that there are no direct flights from Russia.

I love this city, so it's always nice to arrive. Luggage is brought quickly, we walk from the plane. And I like it! The staff is very friendly. Taxis are always at the airport, prices are fixed. The rest is all negative, in other reviews all this is true: about the heat, and without air conditioning, and cramped, and stuffy, and on the floor ... and almost without the Internet. There are much more flights now than there were, for example, five years ago, and it feels like there are crowds in prime time!!!!
The "pre-revolutionary" airport and service. The entrance and exit from the airport is problematic, not designed for a large flow of cars.
Duty free is a poor choice with very high prices.
Be ready to walk from the airplane to the plane on foot through the famous field, accompanied by airport workers.
A small airport - 15 minutes passed from the moment of getting off the plane to receiving suitcases in October (out of season) - the fastest case in my memory (book a taxi in advance - they will immediately wait at the exit)
You should not count on shopping here - 1 store. The waiting room is stuffy and there are not many seats, so a long wait can be uncomfortable.
Oh, I love coming here so much and crying when I fly away. The airport is simple, there are no shops, boutiques, and there are not very many seats. But no one gets there in 3 hours either. Arrived, checked in, flew away.
The arrival takes place quickly, without any delay, you quickly get your luggage, get out and a reserved car from sitngo is already waiting for you in the parking lot ("sat down and drove", a large selection of cars and without additional overpayments, you can watch in more detail on my channel, arbolitmarket, YouTube (a beautiful film about Montenegro 2019)). Upon departure, the same is fast, but in the season it is better to arrive earlier, not 2 hours before check-in, but 2.5-3 hours in order to hand over the car along the way and not stand in queues for debt, and you can relax in the drive. And yes, if you fly "Victory", then it's better to register online and in a day (no matter if the site crashes, do it anyway, be patient and be sure to register online), if you don't, you will have to pay 25 euros per person for offline registration. And so everything is cool, clean, convenient;) Have a nice trip!
Tivat Airport is the smallest international port of all that I have encountered during flights.
There are 12 check-in counters in a hall of about 15 * 40 meters, a waiting room a little less, one store with a limited selection of standard duty-free goods.
In general, it is normal, the attitude of the staff is sleepily calm
The airport, a former military airfield, is small, but everything works as it should. Airlines usually perform poorly. You pass the control quickly and friendly, everyone smiles. Parking is very small and inconvenient.
The building is clean, the location is convenient , but not very big. I advise you to check in online and arrive not long before departure, if someone has a flight delay, there is simply no place in the building even to sit on the floor. The waiting room will be packed. Provided that everything is on schedule then passengers are fully accommodated
A small cozy airport in Montenegro. It accepts flights only during the daytime. There are disadvantages, for example, you need to check in for a flight at least a day in advance and print out a boarding pass. Otherwise, you will be asked to pay an additional 25 euros per person to the airport. But when you first arrive, you have a magnificent view of the sea.
A small airport, with no special amenities. There are no air conditioners, there are very few places to relax or sit. There is also little space on the street, chickens walk behind the fence, this also says a lot. You always need to walk a few (tens sometimes) meters to the plane in the heat. Worthy of three stars. But I put four for polite and prompt people, the absence of long queues and the convenience of the location. A great little village airport.
An airport with half an eggshell. Especially duty free is great - while you are standing in line at the checkout, the whole range is at hand))))) well, maybe it suits the Montenegrins, for their health, but I'm used to big ones)))) The micro-lounge for passengers creates a unique atmosphere when passengers are in it for the next 2-3 flights. Only sprats in a jar are cooler.
It's a small airport, you go through everything very quickly, conveniently located. One thing is that there is very little space in the departure hall and there are no cafes, only a very modest dutifrey.
It's a small airport, but everything is fast and convenient enough. You should not take a taxi right at the exit-go bargain, you can easily save 25-40% of the price at the exit
A small airport, a business hall, of course, something - benches around the perimeter, cookies in vases and a refrigerator with drinks no more than three in one hand. Although there is a plus - there are 0.187 liters of local wine in the drinks, what for 1.5 euros in supermarkets, that is, more than half a liter of free wine can help make it fun))) But it's better not to.
"Airport" is a big word. An analogue of a provincial airfield. Before check-in, you can only sit in a cafe for obscene money.
The building has a kiosk with simple souvenirs, airline counters, car rental companies and a help desk. After arrival, at the exit, you are greeted by a crowd of taxi drivers charging exorbitant prices.
There is no centralized taxi ordering service.
After check-in for departure, there is a fairly strict control of hand luggage. Passport control, on departure, cheerful. On arrival, if you're lucky. The departure lounge is also small. But if a couple of flights take off, then there are enough seats for everyone. But if three flights happen, and in the heat, then the trouble is. There is a small shop of the so-called "duty-free trade". As in most countries, everything in it is more expensive than "on the outside".
The advantages include fast unloading of luggage. And why should she be slow when the plane stops twenty meters from the airfield building? The staff is rather neutral. But if there is a problem, I am ready to help.
There is a paid car park near the airport. You can stop at the door only for boarding and disembarking travelers. There is a cafe behind the paid parking lot a little cheaper than the airport one and not so fussy.
It's a small airport, there are always crowds at check-in, queues at the passport office and it's impossible to sit in the waiting room. People sit on the floor even with small children. Prices in dutifrey are decently inflated and there are huge queues at the checkout again. The second terminal was built, but then it is closed, then only Montenegro Airlines and a couple more European companies fly from there. In general, in 12 years they will not solve the problems in any way, and flights are becoming more frequent, there are more and more people. But its location is convenient for us, so we only fly there in Montenegro.
A very small airport. As a rule, several flights depart in a row and there is a large crowd of people from here. Queues for registration, and then for passport control, go looping around the hall. This year, at least the air conditioning system worked much better than in the previous 5 years. I can't sit in the waiting room. There are too few places for so many people.
The airport itself is not big and a bit clueless ...) BUT! Immediately after the announcement of the delay of our flight for 2.5 hours, we were given sandwiches and water for free, and without any jostling.
