So far, there haven't been any problems, I don't expect much from a small airport, the main thing is that the plane flew, the suitcase always arrives with me, I fly often. However, it is more difficult to fly than to arrive, it is inconvenient to pass inspection, a small space, a lot of people, they empty everything, then you will not immediately collect it, and people are waiting behind. I try not to take anything with me except a laptop and the most necessary things that can be useful during the flight, so as not to give a reason to gut everything.
The airport is small, but you won't get lost. There are few places to land in the waiting area. Expensive shops in the departure area. It is better not to buy gifts and souvenirs here.
The airport is small, it is necessary to keep in mind the availability of carsharing within walking distance and also the walking distance of the airport relative to the city. Wi-fi is difficult, but you can purchase a local SIM card at the store. There is an option to run on foot between terminals after check-in.
What happens there if there are three flights at check-in.... Or a big plane has arrived. The airport is for a small regional center, but not for a large resort.
It's just hell! But you need to understand that there are 2 terminals in the building: old and new.
The old terminal is terrible: the size of a room, there are no seats, you can either sit on your suitcases or in a local cafe packed to the brim with high prices and a tasteless menu! To pass the time, you will not be given a car for rent for a day. The toilet is small and dirty. The new terminal is clean, there are seats, but not much, the toilet is small, there is no cafe. During the inspection, a "credit card with a can opener" was confiscated from my wallet... What could I do with her on board? Is it illegal to open a bottle of Coke to someone? I stayed there for about 8 hours, and this place almost ruined my impression of the country I was in.
As if the international resort airport was in Stavropol, for example. It does not accept flights at night. The terminal is small, everything is compact. In general, mentally. But there are long queues for control
We arrived on November 6 out of season, 2 or 3 customs officers were working. There were about 160-170 passengers, we passed for quite a long time, probably 30-40 minutes. The car was issued fairly quickly in the airport building by the Avis office. We left on the 13th. There are places in the registration hall to sit down for 8 people, the rest are where they can. It was raining outside. There are 200 people. Prices for coffee in the airport building cappuccino 6 euros, latte 7. That is 2-3 times more expensive than in Budva and other cities. After passing through passport control, there is a fairly large departure hall, with seats for probably 150 people. The duty free rates are space. It's good that the plane parked pretty close, but after running even these 50 meters under a downpour, you get wet all over. And when the wind is up to 45 meters per second, the umbrella just breaks out of your hands). In general, in good sunny weather, probably pleasant memories, but when it rains and a strong wind, and you also find out that super aces fly to Tivat with special passes, very difficult landing conditions, then it's scary to visit Tivat for the second time in November)
It is small, the baggage is removed from several flights on the same tape at once, it is crowded, not a single cafe is open at night. There are really no seats in the waiting room
A small airport . After passing the departure control, there are no cafes. There is only one coffee machine. There is no dutik . There is no smoking room
A small cozy airport, friendly border guards, quick inspection. Beautiful view from the airport to the Bay of Kotor. I was especially captivated by the view of the bay from above, from the window of an airplane taking off... To get to Kotor, it is better to book a transfer. Be careful with local taxi drivers - immediately negotiate the price and count your belongings before and after boarding a taxi :)) So that nothing is "lost". Just in case. Things are returned, but for money :))
It's a small airport, there's practically nothing inside. From the plane, you can walk a little through the fresh air to the airport. And of course, the cafe has crazy prices, as everywhere else)
Tivat has a small airport, a runway next to the sea, a picturesque place around the mountain. The airport accepts planes only during daylight hours. The airport staff work very quickly, I got a visa on arrival and my luggage in 10 minutes!!!
A tiny airport with a lot of traffic. There is no clear navigation. Even the entrance was difficult to determine - they helped! The departure waiting area is relatively small. There were not enough places for everyone. Duty-free is small and the range is very limited. Nevertheless, the impressions of Montenegro were the best!

A summer airport, small, stuffy. During the season, it was very difficult to be in it, long queues for registration, few booths with customs officers, a small and modest duty free
Small, but remote. From the plane and to - on foot across the field. Passport control is very fast. Liquids can be taken to the salon. Duty free is more expensive than regular stores. Don't rush in, there's nothing to do after passport control.
There is everything you need!
Our yachts are visible from the window)

A small pleasant airport. For 7 euros, you can wrap suitcases in film here. They do not work very well and without love, they accept only cash; you cannot pay with a card. There are toilets both at the check-in stage and in the waiting room. 6 gates for boarding.
The parking lot is small, the waiting room before the security checkpoint is very small. There is also not much space in the waiting room after the inspection. Duty free is like a stall, narrow and small.
If you are with small children, I advise you not to come to the boarding very early. Because you can at least play on the street for a child-take a walk on the street.
Terminal 1 is stuffy in summer, air conditioners work in Terminal 2, but flights there are mostly not to Russia.
At the airport of Tivat, after passing all the formalities, you get into a small waiting room for boarding the plane. The DutyFree store is just tiny. The selection of products is very small. The prices of sweets and wine are almost 2 times higher than in the shops of Budva and Becici.
It is not a very convenient airport. It doesn't open until 6 a.m. People who fly out in the morning are forced to stand outside and wait. There are a lot of flights going on one time and there is not even a place to stand in the check-in room. There is also little space in the departure lounge. Our flight was delayed by 5.5 hours. With difficulty , I managed to sit down over time . The hall was packed with people. People sat on the floor if they found a place .
The ventilation couldn't cope. They could at least keep the doors to the street ajar. The toilets are dirty, without toilet paper. There is no cafe in the departure hall. At least there was water in Dutifrey's store. The impression of a perfectly spent vacation in Montenegro is blurred by one day of departure.
The most austere airport of all visited. The military past, there was a military airfield here, influenced the infrastructural characteristics of the facility. But the airport successfully fulfills the task of meeting passengers on the hospitable land of Montenegro. He also effectively escorts them on their return flight.
The airport is small and cramped. When you arrive from autumn to summer, you do not notice this - you immediately fall into euphoria from the sea and mountain air. But on the way back, we got into pandemonium: the hall is packed with passengers of the four nearest flights, queues flow into one another, because our flight was already on one board, not on the other. There is also a small hall with a tiny door in the green area.
I think that there is no need to arrive there in three hours, as in large airports.
Arrival: very fast, it took no more than 15 minutes from getting off the plane to leaving the airport (with border control and baggage collection). Provided that three sides of 300-400 people sat down almost simultaneously. Departure: since the airport is open only during the daytime, and our plane was delayed on arrival, the flight was transferred to Podgorica airport, which is ~ 2.15 bus ride. I didn't hear the announcement on the speakerphone. The attendant, when he addressed her himself, explained everything calmly and correctly in Russian. Representatives of the airline (Montenegrin) behaved inertly, they reacted slowly and reluctantly to requests and demands from passengers to issue flight delay certificates. But those who wanted to get certificates were given them. No water was offered. A woman with small children was sent by car, the rest by buses. It seems that they have this situation quite often. The total delay in arrival at Domodedovo was about 3 hours and 30 minutes. Conclusion: when choosing the departure time from Tivat, you do not need to focus on "late" flights.
It's a very nice place, everything is nearby, fast. There is almost no place in the clean zone (there were people for two flights, I had to sit on the floor, by the way, it was very clean even for my light trousers), a beauty salon, one traditionally expensive cafe with sandwiches-beer-coffee. Overall, it's nice. I do not advise you to arrive in advance (waiting areas are inconvenient).
It's a terrible airport. We flew at the peak of the season in July, there were crowds of people, there were not enough places, we had to stand for more than 2 hours, ventilation was weak, it was stuffy.
The old airport. You can arrive for the flight in 40 minutes. That's what the locals do anyway.Very convenient location, it takes 30-40 minutes to get to Budva by taxi.
A small airport, everything is clearly located, responsive staff, everything is done as quickly and conveniently for people as possible. There are many toilets and they are clean.
Compared to Pulkovo, it is a rural airfield. But when you fly to rest, and such a joy. Little. Stuffy and cramped. There is practically nowhere to eat on a budget.
In summer, it is very stuffy on departure, there is little space. Especially as in our case, in July 2019, the departure of three flights was delayed, all of them were packed into a storage unit, which is cramped even if one flight. It was cramped even to stand, I'm not even talking about sitting in their places anymore... The ventilation doesn't work, the windows don't open, I haven't even seen the air conditioners. In my opinion, they are not in the departure hall. The kids are crying from exhaustion, the adults are in a fainting state. Everything is old and shabby. It's just a terrible waiting time for departure.
Everything is fine, even though it is a small airport.
Clean, the staff is polite.
However, you can only get there by taxi. That's a minus. and it's quite decent.
