A wonderful new airport. Big light one. The most important thing for smoking passengers is large smoking rooms with excellent ventilation. Prices in cafes and restaurants are moderate for the Airport 10+ location

We haven't flown to Almaty for a very long time and were extremely surprised by the separate terminal. Class👍🏻 Clean, functional, plenty of space, fast service. It's a bit empty, but I think it's just a matter of time, the prospects are great.

We have been waiting a long time for the construction of the terminal and now it has finally happened!
It is large and spacious. Lots of air and light. The terminal is clean. It is arranged logically and conveniently as a departure and arrival area. The staff is the same, but it's like they're proud of what they've done. Yes, there are some inconveniences that it was handed over ahead of schedule and work is still underway, but it's a matter of time. I liked.

A nice new terminal. I flew to St. Petersburg, I couldn't get into the clean zone through the turnstile, attaching a boarding pass, apparently a separate passage for passengers to the EAEU countries is not working yet. We passed the backpack through the scanner at customs, apparently for the same reason. There were no queues anywhere, neither at passport control nor at the security check. The interior is clean, warm, and there are enough seats. There are two smoking rooms, on the right and on the left.

We spent so much money. The building looks like a rectangular hangar from the outside. Inside, it's like being in a magnum too, just look at the ceiling, it's like being in a warehouse. But this is not the main thing, and the main thing is that it is so cold inside the airport in winter that it is impossible to sit without a jacket and without a hat. Well, there are very few sleeves, people are carried on buses like in the 90s. It is a shame to build such international airports nowadays

On the one hand, it is very good that a new terminal has been opened, it is not so crowded. And then the but begin:
1. The staff is not used to the service
2. A business hall worth 15,000 tenge per person: 30,000 for two - sorry, but this is a check from a normal restaurant
3. The usual cafes inside are the price tag of decent restaurants in Almaty, but they look like crap (I looked at those sitting next to me). I was sitting in Tickedaze, loading 20 percent (people are smart, they don't eat in bad places), only after 20 minutes the waiter came up to me with a question of what you want... nothing
CONCLUSION: come to the new airport well-fed and fly business (they will definitely pour and feed you at your request).

We always wait a long time for our luggage. Why is it fast in all countries, as long as you go through passport control, you go for your luggage for 5 to 15 minutes and the luggage starts to leave, but you wait for 40-60 minutes in our country, most likely there are not enough workers, so take more workers, what's the problem. The terminal was built very efficiently. Space, cleanliness, excellent ventilation. A parking space has been competently implemented. There is no jostling, taxis on call or accredited cars. The cafe is at a very decent level in terms of menu and cooking. Well done!

The terminal is still under repair, not all charging stations are working and not all charging stations are under the seats in the waiting room. We haven't opened the business lounge yet. But overall everything is fine! There are several places where you can eat and relax while waiting for your flight! Good duty free.

After what happened before the new terminal was introduced, it's just a miracle. Large toilets. Working taps, paper 👍As if we were in the future 🥹The rapid passage of passport control overshadows the ever-lagging scanning device and their huge number 🫢(2 pieces). Large space and number of seats. Long waiting for luggage. Good lounges are, it seems to me, the only place that more or less fits the concept of a modern terminal. The new owners have a lot to work on to make the port a modern hub. I sincerely wish them good luck.

They talk on the phone and in general they don 't care what , there are people standing there and waiting for them to deign to invite them . The new terminal of Almaty airport. What can I say. They probably hurried with the discovery, since it is raw, there are a lot of flaws, a lot of things break down before they have worked for three months. Construction work in the parking lot in front of the terminal is very inconvenient for the residents of the city and for the guests. As for the road, Mailina St., it is not designed for a thin stream of cars. That's why there are frequent traffic jams here now.

New, big, spacious! Repairs and improvements are still underway in some places. The checks and controls before departure were very fast. Yes, keep in mind, rubles will not be accepted, and there is nowhere to change to tenge in the departure area. The exchanger is located in the reception area.

A new building, but again everything is not thought out: already from the entrance there is a queue for checking luggage, then a crazy queue for passport control, you have to stand for 40 minutes: it is stuffy and not convenient, it is not possible to buy ordinary water in duty free, you have to use vending machines, there are a lot of cubicles in the toilets - there is no paper anywhere… but the most important thing is why make a new terminal if there are only 5 airplane sleeves in it, and at the same time there is boarding for more flights, and again these stuffy buses, a delay. In general, it's a shame that we are promoting loudly, but it's not much use

It was the first time I flew out of the new terminal. I've read a lot of negative reviews, but I haven't found any confirmation of them. There are enough seats, the toilets are clean, constantly open and cleaned. Of course, not all outlets are open, but this is not critical.
