For those expats who have been long enough, you know well that the flight time was shorter than time for passing immigration and picking up luggage and passing customs.
Thank you for improvements, keep up the good job.
Looking forward to opening of a decent Uzbek restaurant at airport. Imagine taking plof with you for a New York flight.

Tashkent Airport International Terminal.
For me, the most important thing was being able to exit the airport without any waiting. The passport control and customs staff were extremely friendly..
Yes, the airport might be a bit old and outdated, and perhaps Tashkent deserves a better one, but functionally, we didn’t experience any issues.
Compared to airports located far outside the city, it’s a wonderful feeling to be in the city center the moment you step out.

For the first time in Kazakhstan. I liked everything very much. Bright, hospitable, warm, extraordinarily ancient, beautiful architecture. The only thing I really didn't like was when you come to some museum, for some reason they ask where you came from, i.e. if it turns out that you are from Russia, then the ticket will be sold 3 times more expensive. Moreover, they ask questions very persistently, as if they are being interrogated, they get annoyed if you do not confirm their assumptions. When tourists come to Russia, they sell tickets to them at the same price as everyone else
This left a very unpleasant aftertaste. And so Uzbekistan and its people are very pleasant to communicate. I recommend visiting Uzbekistan!

The terminal is generally comfortable, large, and there are places to relax. You can even find sockets, but there could be more.
There are several cafes. Prices with the airport coefficient.
It's sad that the business lounge is open only for customers with business class plane tickets. There is no possibility to use the room for banking program clients with the privilege of visiting the room of increased comfort. For example, there is such an opportunity at Samarkand airport, but for some reason not in the capital.

The staff is polite. Inspection and control are fast. The waiting rooms are clean. The mood was slightly overshadowed by the delay of the flight to Minsk and the cosmic prices for alcohol in duty-free. In addition, the door to corridor B6 (for boarding) from corridor B5 was closed. I had to figure it out: go to B5, turn left and here it is at B6. Open the door and sign it B6. In general, it's a normal airport.

We arrived from Sharm el Sheikh, and began to compare Terminals.Their Terminal remained in 1990.
Cons, not the good manners of our passengers.They sit on the seats with their feet, take up 3-4 seats.This mainly concerns transit workers.By the way, there are very few seats in the registration area.
My family uses the services of our Airport very often, so we notice all the pros and cons right away

Otherwise everything is fine - clean , beautiful , the staff is friendly .
