Minuses
A monotonous menu for lunch and dinner
The lamp on the ceiling is dim at night, you can not turn it off.
The elevator is broken
I gave it three stars. Maybe a lot, but. There are no complaints about cleanliness. Turning on the TV is some kind of quest, if someone turned it on well done, then you should switch which button and goodbye everything freezes, you have to restart many times. Double room it can be seen that the rooms have been redone. Two switches and two lamps are located above one bed, this bed is probably VIP))) there is nothing above the other one, but the chandelier is above the other one, although it should be in the middle of the room (although I may not understand anything, maybe it should be))). There are about 4 holes in the wall, something was screwed in, and when they measured these holes with a pencil of 10 centimeters, they drew crosses, and that's all that remained. There were two glasses in the room, two mugs of two bags of tea and coffee, but there were no declared slippers, the receptionist said that they had decided not to put them in the room now. There was nothing wrong with the linen (3 towels, sheets, blankets are all good). We lived from November 4 to November 5 .I don't remember the 3rd floor number anymore.
I liked everything. We lived there for a couple of days when we came to a mini hockey tournament. Clean and tidy. Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Delicious dinners at the restaurant
Very nice hotel, clean large rooms, there is a kettle, refrigerator, TV, coffee, tea, all washing facilities, disposable toothbrushes and paste, soap, shampoo, shower gel, shower caps and slippers. The two-room room has 2 bathrooms, air conditioning. Very polite staff, there is a cafe downstairs. Shops are within walking distance. The price corresponds to the quality for sure, especially if you compare it with some Lukoml hotel, where the prices are the same, but you don't want to go into the rooms, because nothing has changed there since the 80s. I highly recommend the sun hotel.
The elevator wasn't working and it's been visible for a long time. The room was given on the 6th floor. There is a lot of space in the room and the loggia is very large. I didn't like the very cheap mattresses and, of course, the broken chipboard beds. A shower cabin is also a thrash for a 3-star hotel.
A normal hotel for your money. If you need to spend the night on a long trip, then this is a great place: it's budget friendly and there are always places. I recommend taking it without food, there is no restaurant at all.
I stayed in the room for the night, everything is great!
I don't know about food and cleaning, but the staff is very kind, free mineral and ordinary water, an atmospheric balcony with panoramic windows
Hello! I wanted to book a room through the island, but it was buggy, I called the reception and booked without any problems + I did not need an advance payment, full payment on the island immediately. The check-in was quick, the receptionist was correct, she immediately clarified about breakfast. The hotel is fresh, the rooms are good. The rooms have a TV, bathroom accessories, dental kit, fan, sparkling and drinking water, refrigerator, tea set, large balcony. Free wi-fi.
We took a standard room for two. It cost 75 rubles. The rooms are nice, clean, and of an average acceptable size. The kettle, refrigerator, tea, coffee, and accessories are all there. There is an opportunity to play table tennis.
Excellent hotel, spacious rooms, clean. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Breakfast and dinner are served quickly. Friendly staff. I stopped several times on a business trip.
Great hotel. The room has everything you need, from a toothbrush, slippers, etc.) The rooms are large and spacious. Even in the morning there was coffee and tea. I liked everything.
A hotel and nothing more.
Among the advantages are Large, clean standard rooms and parking.
Cons - Slippers are an option)) Hot water and a heated towel rail require water discharge and waiting! Upon check-in, the administrator Marina anxiously consulted (a mentally friendly Administrator), in the morning the staff changed and during the procedures the hot water was smoothly screwed on)) the new administrator stated that she was not aware of this problem...
The rooms are not distinguished by sophistication, there are worn corners, Armstrong on the ceiling, but for this level a spacious and clean room that is cleaned every morning.
There is a parking lot, a large lobby, a 24-hour gym and a recreation room with billiards. Well, delicious breakfasts.
In general, the hotel is very good for its level
The girls at the reception don't care at all about you, neither hello nor goodbye, they don't even get up from their chair when a guest comes up to them, the room is clean, there is no phone for communication, there is no restaurant menu, if you want to order something in the room, you need to go down to the restaurant and order after that they will bring.
There is a restaurant on the ground floor, cozy, the music is not loud, in principle, it is not very long to wait for the dish, I ordered a hot shrimp snack, I was upset that the shrimp were brought raw, as a result they were taken away and fried. In general, I would say the restaurant is for 4, a check for one person from 70p.
I had lunch at the Hotel cafe several times. very tasty dishes on the dining menu, wonderful cooking. Thanks to the cook, pleasant staff, pleasant atmosphere. A VERY good place for lunch.
The rooms are not bad, it is very stuffy, comfortable only with the windows open, cleaning is only a change of towels, the palace is not vacuumed, the flies have been lying for 10 days. The breakfasts are quite good, but it would be better to have a buffet. The administration did not think it through, the staff does not have time to feed the guests early in the morning.
A good hotel for business travelers. Clean, cozy, good wi-fi, on the ground floor there is a restaurant where you can have breakfast and dinner. I will also go to Ostrovets- I will definitely stay there.
We stayed from August 15-16, 2023, rented a 2-room room on the 6th floor. The room is large, cozy, 2 bathrooms, balcony, air conditioning, ironing board, iron, hair dryer. I liked everything.
Of the cons: the kettle had to be put on the floor to plug into the outlet.
We ordered a room without breakfast, just went down to the restaurant at a convenient time and ate there. The food is delicious.
A chic hotel. Very clean, cozy rooms with a wonderful design. Everything for a comfortable stay of guests. The staff is polite and pleasant to communicate with. I really liked the atmosphere. Thank you very much!
The village of Ostrovets is very clean and tidy. The Sun Hotel deserves all the praise: the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean. The room had everything you needed, including bottled water, slippers, a toothbrush with toothpaste and other hygiene products. You can have dinner or breakfast right at the hotel (portions, however, are small, but everything is fresh and delicious). In the same building, in the basement there is a small shop where you can buy food, alcohol and household chemicals and cosmetics.
I recommend this hotel.
Comfortable accommodation, no complaints. Convenient location. Everything you need is within walking distance. The food was organized efficiently and conveniently, but the dishes, for some reason, did not seem very tasty.
Friendly staff, the room has everything you need (slippers, bathrobe, kettle). The rooms are clean, the Internet, the TV is all working! The breakfast is delicious!
The hotel is modern. Clean, cozy. Free Wi-Fi. There is a cafe at the hotel: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
The best hotel in the city of Ostrovets.
You can book rooms by phone or by e-mail. Everything is very good, but the prices for accommodation are not cheap :-(.
The hotel is located in the historical center of Ostrovets. Nearby there is a square and a monument to V.I. Lenin, an ancient church, a cinema, shops, a market.
The reception staff is very pleasant and helpful. The girls in the dining room are not sympathetic to the visitors. The kitchen is good in general, but breakfast well, it can't cost the stated 20 rubles. The hotel is clean, the rooms are as lucky as you are, but the showers are almost dead. There is a hairdryer and a kettle in the room. Good sound insulation in the bedroom, but you can hear everything that the neighbor is doing in the toilet. There are no secrets here! All your own!😉
I do not put a two or three only because of the gorgeous staff who are ready to help with any question and generally extremely pleasant to communicate with. And for a decent meal at the hotel with unlimited coffee in the morning. For the record, two bad mattresses on a double bed is not a double bed, because you can't sleep in the middle, it's obvious, my God. Bad shower, I wait 5 minutes for the water to drain to warm. The Internet above the second floor is just disgusting, God forbid 720p will be loaded. I also lived in a room with a single bed - it's generally a quiet (or rather loud) horror. The springs of the mattress are shaking the ribs, the bed creaks, as if, excuse me, it was bought from a brothel. The door does not close unless it is locked. The toilet door creaks with chthonic sounds when moving. At one point it turned out that they could not give, sorry, toilet paper, and get out of it as you want. And that's for almost a hundred bucks a day. However, it is still the best room hotel in the city, as far as I understand
The rooms are clean and nice, the staff are polite. The restaurant serves delicious food. But the WIFI is kind of dead, if it doesn't finish living on the upper floors. Yes, and the heating is weak, it was getting chilly in the evening.
Convenient location in the old part of the city, availability of laundry, slot machines, wi-fi, shuttle service in Belarus. Of the cons:
- rooms with various defects (furniture, double-glazed windows, etc.);
- the price of accommodation is high;
- the kitchen is weak, the food is sausage, eggs, semi-finished products.
I went on a business trip, stayed at this hotel. There are only three single rooms, so I had to move into a double room with 2 separate beds (room 203, if memory serves). One of the beds had broken slats (wooden planks on which the mattress of the bed rests), there were no such problems with the second one. The wardrobe, table and chair are intact, there is no minibar - there is a small refrigerator and a kettle, two cups with saucers and 2 glasses from the dishes.
The bathroom is combined. The washbasin and toilet are in good condition, but the shower cabin looks and works strangely: almost the entire bottom of the cabin is sealed with a transparent sealant, there is no rubber mat before entering the cabin - I almost slipped a couple of times when exiting, switching between cold and hot water is very slow - I had to unscrew the faucet only for hot water, and then select the optimal temperature. There is no dryer, instead there is a balcony railing on which the window does not open. An ironing board with an iron is in the next corridor on the same floor. Nothing is said about laundry services in the hotel brochure - everything is in your hands, if you understand what I'm talking about)
Rooms are cleaned at 10-11 a.m., and this is the only time when they are cleaned. I was in a situation that I was working the night shift, and at that time I was already asleep, so no cleaning was done all night shifts (3-4 days), except for the day when after the shift I specifically waited for the maid to replace the bed and towels (I have no complaints about the quality of the latter - everything is white and clean, not torn).
For 136 Belarusian rubles per day, you will receive breakfast in a cafe on the 1st floor, complete with accommodation. Breakfast includes: porridge on various cereals (oatmeal, millet, may be others), a hot dish (potato pancakes with sour cream, fried eggs with fried sausages, omelet with ham and cheese, pancakes with stuffing, etc.), vegetable and sausage cuts, a dish with a set for sandwiches (bread, butter, hard cheese, jam and olives for some reason) and a coffee machine. I didn't go to dinners, but they seem to be praised too.
Bottom line : it's not bad for a 3* hotel, but cleaning only in the morning and high cost ($ 49 per day for 1 person in 3 * I think it's expensive - in Molodechno, such prices for 4 * hotels, as far as I remember) do not give a rating higher than 3 out of 5. For business travelers who have a daily stay limit of $ 60 is quite a working option.
The rooms are good. The food is very tasty but there is little variety. The staff is friendly and friendly.Everything is clean and tidy everywhere.Within walking distance of shops, pharmacy, cafe. You can take a walk in the park.
The food is delicious, homemade.
The room is clean and comfortable.
The staff is friendly.
The service is pleasant.
I really liked the coffee machine - I have never drunk such coffee anywhere, I recommend it!
The hotel is deteriorating every year. In all the rooms where I had to live, the showers are tubed, and many have clogged sewers. It's time to change the furniture in some rooms. The food in the cafe on the ground floor is below average, I suffered heartburn every time after it, now I stopped taking rooms with meals. There is a gaming club on the ground floor, tobacco smoke from it spreads throughout the hotel, penetrates into the rooms. It feels like living in a cheap pub. Recently, a losing man came out of this club and trashed cars in the hotel parking lot. Room cleaning, bed linen, towels are normal. Many rooms have a rather strange configuration, because they have been converted from two-room rooms into two separate rooms. There is simply no sound insulation in the rooms, if a neighbor snores, it can be heard at night. Among the advantages - there are air-conditioned rooms, polite girls at the reception during the day, convenient location.
A normal hotel. We liked it more than the hotel across a couple of intersections. The room is clean, the furniture is modern, the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is in perfect order. You can eat at the restaurant downstairs. The food is delicious, but there is not everything on the menu. There are breakfasts, but for a fee.
After the renovation, everything changed for the better
The new restaurant is simply beyond praise
It has become much more comfortable
I recommend
Prices are within reasonable limits
There was a billiards gym equipped with the latest technology
There is not enough sauna
The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple but spacious. The hotel is clean. Breakfasts and dinners - a choice of 2 options + various cuts. It is very tasty and satisfying!
It was in August. 2023 In a room without air conditioning, it's hot and humid, it's just unbearable. I had to go ask for a fan.the layout of the room is complete, there is no ventilation, the shower is leaking, there are no nets on the windows in the evening, a full room of mosquitoes of different colors. Two stars only for the delicious food in the cafe.
The review is rather for those who have already been to Ostrovets and don't know much about it. For first-time arrivals, keep in mind that there is not much to choose from here, but the situation is changing and Sanitel should also develop. It's not 2018 anymore, when nothing happened.
Minuses:
1. The price is constantly changing depending on the dollar exchange rate, i.e. the bill may change after 2 weeks of stay. For example, you checked in for 150 rubles, and you will pay 177 rubles on departure. What does the dollar have to do with it is not clear, it seems that the hotel does not depend on imports. This is for the comment about the cheating Turk.
2. The price for the rooms is greatly inflated, they take advantage of the fact that there are a lot of business travelers and there is nowhere to go, they settle here. They're pulling like a stick.
3. Very strong audibility. Sometimes it feels like someone came into your room and sat in your toilet. Over time, you get used to it ...
4. The food is bad, if you check in, do not take food. Everything is greasy, heavily overcooked, even for breakfast. The stomach takes off in a few days. I heard some of them were poisoned.
5. Terrible mattresses, spring-loaded, with a metal frame.
6. If the windows overlook the courtyard, you will look into the windows of the neighboring house. Everything would be fine, but with the glazing of the loggia in the floor it is not very comfortable - you will not get out of the shower naked unless you close the windows in advance.
7. The decoration of the rooms is depressing.
Positive:
1. Good girls at the reception, responsive, will help you choose a room, tell you. But they do not say that they should give you 2 bottles of water every day - The Hostess should take note.
2. Good maids, clean every day, make the bed, wash the sink, shower and toilet, hang towels. And believe me, this is not the attitude to cleanliness everywhere. I lived in a nearby hotel- it's better in many ways, but they only took out the garbage, and the floor in the corners was neither washed nor swept.
3. Clean linen, towels.
4. There is a laundry room. You hand over your underwear in the morning, pick up clean and dry in the evening, and the shirts are ironed.
5. There is an elevator.
6. There is a modern Samsung TV with a smart TV and a USB stick reads.
7. Wifi for the Internet and even YouTube is sufficient, sometimes it lags.
I lived in the SunHotel for almost a month in a double room "Twin". The hotel is Turkish, or rather it was built by a certain Turkish owner who has money, as explained to me at the reception.
Cons:
The first horror you experience is from the portraits all over the first floor, which seem to say that you are visiting... or I don't even know what they are talking about, or they can tell the guest... I think they are inappropriate there! A stupid talking elevator, they only give water to the room upon check-in, there is no phone, it's time to repair the plumbing. The ladder in the floor is broken (you constantly fall through there), the mixer cartridge is shifted to the left (in the position of the handle in the center of the sink there is boiling water). 2 single beds are pushed into one, although it is a TWIN, the beds can be pushed apart and live in two. The walls are the thinnest!!! You can hear the neighbor munching, and you can get up in the morning by his alarm clock! If you open the plumbing cabinet, you can see the neighbor's hatch opposite. Some kind of riser with boiling water runs through my room, I was constantly hot at 305, although the heating was turned off, others complained of the cold. The price tag for such a pleasure is about 4,500 wooden per day!!! There is no security, a drunk from the casino beat 2 cars in the parking lot, no one reacted, apparently there is no one to react.
The "restaurant" has dirty mirrors, the dishes are the most ordinary, not everything is on the menu. The coffee machines are not configured.
Songs:
Large rooms with a TV connected to the Internet, there is youtube 24/7))). Rooms with Windows to the courtyard have huge balconies where you could work, there is not enough table and chairs. The food in the restaurant is not the worst, we have seen worse, the staff is friendly and helpful. There is a casino, maybe this is a plus.
Result:
If you hang your portraits around, then make the service appropriate! If this is some great person, then I expect a sign at the entrance or booklets like in a museum. The information on this issue is also comprehensive on the website. Greetings from sunny Turkey, Sedata Igdeji hotel in Ostrovets.
P.S. Everything has moved out... Do not write reviews in phones... It's a pain!!!
