We were in Abkhazia for the first time and were satisfied with everything. A clean and fresh hotel by the sea! It is very convenient that there is a cafe with delicious food and wine nearby! The location is good near the center of New Athos by taxi 250 rubles or 20 minutes on foot where all the sights are! A taxi will be ordered at the reception if necessary. There is an opportunity to meet sunsets and sunrises! A big plus is the hotel on the seashore of the first line! We recommend it!!!

We had a rest in August 2024. The room has a sea view. Bombically. It's 30 seconds to the sea. There are sun beds and umbrellas on the beach. Everything is included in the price. There is a cafe-canteen in the next building. Very tasty. Pizza, boat - fire. But: when booking, you must immediately state all the details. I ordered a room with breakfast, but the hostess misunderstood me and booked without breakfast. I had to buy breakfast separately. But it didn't spoil the experience. I liked everything. New Athos is a 20-minute walk along the road.

We had a vacation with our family in August 2024. We liked everything. The rooms are all fresh and clean, newly renovated. There is a cafe nearby where you can have a cheap and delicious meal. The hotel is located by the sea. There are sun beds and umbrellas. We stayed in a room for 4 (double bed and bunk bed), it was comfortable. There are also cool rooms in the hotel with direct access to the sea! The manager responded quickly to all requests and helped. In general, some pleasant emotions from living here.

A great new hotel, it still smells of renovation and there are flaws somewhere.
The rooms are clean and bright. We had a sea view and it's beautiful! There is a shop, a cafe, and another hotel nearby. Own parking. A wonderful balcony and, most importantly, a wonderful hostess!! We booked through the website (we contacted via messenger, I was a little worried). However, she also gave a discount and went to the meeting. Very hospitable, pleasant and sincere all)
The hotel is quiet, calm, no one is yelling under the windows, the music is not turned on. A huge plus for those who want a relaxing holiday) It seemed even the children on the beach are quiet in the morning)
By the way..The beach is practically empty!!
There was a lack of a shower head holder in our room, it was not very convenient to wash, but it did not spoil the picture) I would like to add cosmetic accessories (shampoo, shower gel), as well as water to the room or cooler on the floor. I will wait for the landscaping of the beach separately)). A shade canopy will fix the situation with umbrellas. I do not put any minuses, I believe that everything will be over time)

The hotel is new, well renovated. Quiet, calm, near the beach. I do not recommend taking breakfast - the hotel does not have its own kitchen, so they send it to the nearest cafe with a limit of 500 rubles per person. In the cafe, they cheat (they just throw "a little" on top) and the food is not very good quality. There are few people on the beach and in the hotel, as the beach is "wild", and the prices at the hotel are high. There are minor flaws that should not be at such a high price (there are no hygiene kits, slippers, beach towels). People relax at the hotel mainly by car, as the hotel is located near the Sukhumi highway, before entering New Athos. It is a long walk to New Athos, 5 minutes by car.

This is a heavenly place, the location is awesome. This hotel overlooks the sea and you can swim around the clock.there is a cafe and a shop all located on the same territory.we wanted to fry a barbecue, bought meat, they gave us grills and skewers in the cafe, they allowed us to use the barbecue, had a great time, in the morning we warmed the barbecue for breakfast, everything is new and clean in the hotel

A new hotel, fresh and beautiful renovation, polite and pleasant staff, even managed to communicate with the owner of this hotel, a very nice woman)
I think the location of the hotel is the best!
1 coastline, there are cafes and shops nearby, 5 minutes to the center.

We had a rest together at the end of March 2024 . I really liked the hotel , every detail , renovation , cleanliness , silence. The sea is within walking distance, the view from the windows is amazing! The hosts are friendly and attentive. We will definitely come again!

Nice new hotel on the first coast! Beautiful view from the room , but there are questions 😆we organized an action and it is written when checking in day after day in June, a 50% discount, the administrator says that when extending , and the person in their Instagram generally that you need to live for 5 days and then last with a discount ) you have already decided 😆did not stay at this hotel , because I do not like when everyone wants to cheat somewhere ....🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ why organize promotions if you change your shoes ;)

A hotel with typical Abkhazian "hospitality", i.e. with a complete lack of service.
1. The actual lack of cleaning. Towels are changed every 3 days, even if the towels are on the floor. It is quite problematic to dry towels on a broken outdoor dryer. The cleaning of the room consists in sweeping it and sometimes washing it in the passageways. You've been asking to clean up all day, and you get the answer that we're not alone here. At 17 o'clock you go to bed for a nap, and voila, it's at this time that the cleaner bursts in and starts throwing out the garbage.
2. The beach is under the window, but there are quite a few people on it, including those who do not live in a hotel. There were at most 5 sun beds, we did not need them, but our neighbors, who could not comfortably sit on the beach, the hostess recommended getting up earlier.
3. There is never anyone at the reception, it is quite problematic to ask a question or ask for something. After 6 in general, there is only a cleaner with an eternally dissatisfied face.
4. The inability to eat normally. The local canteen is on the 3rd floor at best, and you can only go to any other cafe by taxi.
5. The condition of the room is a deception. Only in the picture he is so beautiful. In fact, there are scuffed walls, a hole from a conder, a rusty faucet, a broken toilet lid…
6. Well, the cherry on the cake: cockroaches and a mouse. We lived on the 1st floor, in the evening a mouse ran in. Since there was no one from the staff except the cleaner, my husband had to fight with her on his own.
Of the advantages, only the proximity of the sea!

The hotel is really not bad, but the most unpleasant situation happened to us. We were driving from Moscow in our car, you know, it's a long way. We arrived at about 16 o'clock +\-.
The Sulemar Hotel is one of the first at the entrance to New Athos. We decided to stay here. We went to the reception, asked about the rooms, the girl tells us, yes, there is a free room, it is for 4, but we will rent it to you at the cost of a double room.
We tell us until Wednesday, with the possibility of extension, if you like it, we will stay.
She calculated us - she says 18 thousand, before that we looked at prices on the island and in my opinion it was logical for three days. We were tired and didn't hear much, and maybe she didn't specify that it turns out the cost of the room is 9 K. The only thing we told US WAS BEFORE WEDNESDAY and without breakfast.
As a result, on Tuesday we come to extend, and the guy says that you are checking out today. We are in full swing, because we thought that the departure was on Wednesday, which is actually why we came up early to extend it.
The room turns out to be booked after us and instead of going to lunch we have to check out.
The guy asked for time to clarify the situation. After a couple of minutes, he came to the room and gave the phone to talk to someone, apparently the hotel manager. He says that we paid for two days and they can offer us to move into one room today, and tomorrow to another. And so it is more likely until the end of the rest. And plus the price for the room is 15 K. We didn't hear a word of apology from the manager. Just that we didn't pay, you see, although we asked for a room until Wednesday!
Disgusting management, customer orientation is lame, it doesn't matter that people drove for two days to rest, and because of an error by the administrator at the reception, such a mess happened. A fat minus of the hotel administration.
The guy at the reception did a great job, he tried to come up with something, but what could he do if they messed up such stuff before him.
The rest is ruined. We decided not to spoil the rest for people after us and moved out in a hurry.
We will not come to the hotel anymore, of course.
Ants bit us at night. The bathroom stank of urine when the hood was turned on, when it was turned off everything was normal. Room cleaning is lame. On the night of Monday to Tuesday, the electricity was cut off for some time.
And if there were no situation with a hasty eviction without loyalty and apologies, one could turn a blind eye to many things.

A nice, new hotel for a beach holiday. The only thing missing is the closed partitions on the balcony for more privacy. We took a room on the second floor. The view is gorgeous, I liked everything. There is a cafe nearby, in principle you can eat there, but it is better if you have a car to ride to New Athos, even for breakfast.

I liked everything very much, warm clean sea, decent beach, good view, good room (clean, bright, new furniture, not heard from neighbors), good service, good food, close to New Athos. Definitely better than in Tsandripsh. It's expensive, but better than most. There are not enough partitions on the balconies between the rooms, I like to have breakfast without clothes :)

You need to get to the center of New Athos by car, it is impossible on foot. The hostess or the mother of the hostess, who exposes a small child because she did not like the place and wants to stay here. The money is not refunded! The hotel is super! We have a rest here with the whole company. Clean, the renovation is fresh, everything is neat, the staff is polite. The administration helped in all matters. A cafe next to the hotel with reasonable prices and quite tasty. There is a small shop nearby. The sea is clean, there are sun beds. The audibility in the rooms is good. No one bothers. We recommend it!!
