It's a nice place, it's very beautiful inside and you feel noble. Although in fact it's just a euro dining room, but the atmosphere decides. The prices are not the cheapest . I come to this place just for a pickle and to sit by the window on the second floor, because it's great here and worth the money. I recommend you to visit!! The taste and color , as they say . I arrive in Gomel and immediately go to Solyanka. Delicious homemade food. There is always a large selection of dishes and it is cozy. Convenient work schedule. Those who arrived by train can have a snack from early morning until late evening. The only thing missing is free wi-fi. Imagine: a man got off the train, hungry, and there is no Belarusian SIM card yet. How should he navigate? How do I call my relatives? And so he eats breakfast and surfs the Internet. A wonderful dining room is located next to the train station and two central hotels of the city. A very convenient working time is from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., you can have breakfast and dinner, super for a tourist. The range of dishes is large, there is less choice in the evening, but it is not critical, there is still something to order.
The dining room has a pleasant interior, on the second floor there is a bar where you can go up with purchased food, order alcoholic drinks and have dinner in a cozy atmosphere.

There was a desire to visit the Solyanka restaurant, they came and found empty seats in front of the door where everyone was coming in and out, there were no other places, the second floor did not work for those reasons, the staff turned on the music as they liked; it was very loud or very quiet in jerks, the attitude at the checkout was that you are there that you are not. This place deserves a separate review, it's not a sin to write an article about it. After visiting this cafe, my opinion about the irinaservice changed dramatically. We decided to eat and took two salyanka, two zrazy (impressed as cutlets in Kiev) and 150g. Fried potatoes, they gave 24p for everything. In my opinion, this is too much for an institution of this kind. Salyanka itself is a very disgusting dish of pork kidneys and cheap sausage, and costs 5.5 rubles per serving. Zraza (Kiev cutlet) is not salty, not peppery, meat with cartilage and veins, inside there is one cheese with a strange taste. As I often travel on business trips, I can say with confidence that in any village canteen you will be fed 100 times tastier and cheaper. The cafe left a bad impression and heartburn. I strongly do not recommend this institution. It would be possible not to put stars, I would not put more than one

The establishment has 2 floors. There is not much space on the ground floor, there is more on the second floor. There is a lot to choose from: salads, vegetables, cereals, potatoes, fish, meat and various cutlets, cheesecakes, pancakes and various delicious desserts. Everything I took was very tasty. A great place to have a cheap and tasty meal and the location is very convenient.

The interior is pleasant wooden, the partitions between the tables are pleasing, there are sofas for those who have eaten too much, can't get up, but it's time to vacate the table, because there is a queue. For a second, it may seem that you have hit the Red Coast. It is clear that the owner was, and most likely was impressed by the eclectic styles of this place.
In the morning, the sun on the second floor falls directly on the tables, which makes you think better and your mood rises. You can also work.
The trouble with the hood! - 1 star. You come in - you smell like Gucci, you come out - before the end of the day - with a cutlet! The reason I tried to avoid eating regularly here.
The trouble with the collaboration with the 3* Gomel hotel. Breakfast. Fans of the Soviet Union will like it: they give out a coupon for the amount paid upon check-in. And they will "impose food" on the same amount. There is no profit, especially when there is no direct access from the hotel to the bistro. The door to the corridor leading to the bistro is stupidly closed. You need to go around the building. It's cool in winter, isn't it? Breakfast delivery would bring a special flair and profit to both establishments.
Troubles with the influx of people. The staff is getting lost. You can stand for 10 minutes with a tray, watching the chaotic Brownian motion between the kitchen and the distribution. Labor processes should be established with any possible number of people in this institution.
I recommend visiting outside of rush hours. Eat safely at the train station: the cafe is located between the bus station and the railway station. The food meets the requirements of the sanitary station. Either they walk often, or the owner himself is not indifferent to the quality of the most important thing.

I have repeatedly visited this institution when I was waiting for a train transfer. The hodgepodge is really on fire in the establishment! The cutlets are very tasty. In general, it is a good place where cleanliness is monitored. The toilet is closed from visitors from the street by a combination lock. The code is written in the cash receipt. There is a cozy bar on the second floor. I withdraw one point for the inability to pay by phone with a Russian mir card and for dry pilaf. And I recommend it!

A terrible impression of the shift that worked on 12/22/2023. I went in with my family for the first time to have a snack and I won't go anymore. When they chose the second one, the distributor girl put a dish in the microwave and, without listening to the order, went to the cashier to serve other customers who came to the cashier from the other side. Thanks to the girl Irina, who came up to us 5 minutes later, seeing that we were in shock, served us. We went to the cashier, where, when asked why you did not finish listening to the order, that "distributor" began to be rude to us. After that, I asked for a complaint book, which was searched for 10 minutes. Some other girl without a badge came out to us with her, did not introduce herself, did not respond to my words, to a remark in my father's service, and also began to be rude. Since the food was paid for, they went to the second floor to exhale, but it didn't work out there either, the same girl continued to measure herself there. Thanks to the bartender, I avoided this situation.
The result is that Saturday evening was spoiled by rudeness, it was not possible to sit with father and daughter in a cozy atmosphere. Yes, and the book that was brought cannot be called plaintive, without numbering, printing, in general, without proper design. It's a pity that such people work in catering.

Five stars for an institution of this level. It's a bit expensive, imho, but it pays off overall. Even the picky mom is satisfied. Everything we ate was quite tasty (there were five of us of all genders and ages, except children). We went to lunch around 16-17h on a weekday, almost no one was there.
