It's a good place, in the center of the park, where you can relax in summer, warm up in winter and listen to a lecture about the starry sky.
Tickets are not expensive, you can take them almost before the session.
Remember the astronomy lessons from the school course, get a sip of romantic mood, communication with "eternity".
Like it. Although if you were to project the contours of the constellations onto the sky in the style of "Roman figurines" and "Greek" legends, it would be even more entertaining and memorable.
It is certainly great that there is such a place in Minsk and it has been preserved. Yes, the scale is not the same as, for example, in Moscow, but it doesn't matter. It's important that it's there. And even more importantly, it continues to exist and hosts events interesting to science lovers. I recommend it for children!
However, there are two disadvantages that I would like to highlight so that there is some benefit from my post. This means that you cannot order/book or buy tickets online.
And the feeling of dilapidation of the building (exactly the feeling).
It's great that commercialization hasn't captured the Planet yet, but the timing needs to be matched.
Interesting and exciting! A must-visit with children! Interesting cartoons, and a plot and new knowledge!
I would advise you to shorten the story about the starry sky after watching cartoons, it is difficult for children to see so much
I recommend it!)
In the summer we visited the planetarium with my son. My son was impressed and I really liked it. We were able to watch several films. They tell us very interesting and informative stories. This is a place worth visiting with whole families. I recommend it)
Great place
You can watch a movie about stars, space, and even interesting films about space for the youngest! Sometimes a telescope is also open, through which you can look with your own eyes directly into space!
I recommend
I liked everything.
What can be changed:
1. Make a vestibule-gateway with dark curtains (as in Soviet cinemas)— people scurrying back and forth distract from watching, the vestibule would minimize this situation.
2. It is a pity that an American film is being used for the demonstration. I would like to make a survey based on the material of scientists from the CIS. "Buran" would have looked more appropriate.
3. The guide's laser pointer is not enough to indicate constellations, it would be cool if the constellation were indicated / highlighted graphically — everything is simple here, a screen from the movie and graphic animation. In addition, I would like the alpha stars in each constellation to be indicated on the map.
I advise you to go to the cinema of the planetarium.. The 5-year-old girl really liked it.. And there are movies for adults. 35 min viewing time+15 min. a story about the starry sky.
We went with the children. First, a stunning colorful 3D cartoon for the whole firmament. Then there are interesting facts about stars and planets. Comfortable chairs, courteous staff
That's great! I was here for the first time 20 years ago. I have brought the children now and was pleasantly surprised by the changes. For a little money, you can watch a spherical cartoon about space.
We were at the session at 12 p.m. The planetarium turned out to be quite small, but it was inexpensive: 500 Russian rubles for three people. It was cool in the room, but the child was delighted.
We really love going to the planetarium with our children. Cartoons are accessible and understandable for children. Adult movies are cool too. The session takes about an hour. Children easily and with interest sit out this time, without whims. A nice bonus is that there is always a lecture about the starry sky after the session.
The only question I don't understand is why the foyer of the planetarium can't be put in order?!?! So many people visit it. I've seen foreigners many times. Chandeliers with missing ceiling lights in some places, terrible Soviet seats (which are not enough for those waiting for a session)? It's even a shame that such a magical place looks depressing.
We were in the middle of the week, but there were a lot of visitors, including several groups of schoolchildren.
The staff is unfriendly, the projection does not cover the entire dome, and part of the picture does not fit. They didn't even tell us about the Planetarium (device) in general terms, "What is it and what is it for?".
Because of the children, it was very noisy, no one was in control.
The building itself and the hall are tired and in need of repair.
I've wanted to visit the planetarium with my son for a long time, we've been to Minsk many times, but everything didn't work out, and now my son is already 18 years old, but I took him to the planetarium, and my son and I really enjoyed it!
We were on vacation for a few days in Minsk and decided to go to a session at the planetarium. We thought that everyday life was cool , there were few people , the film seemed interesting . But 5 minutes before the start, a group of schoolchildren (class 2-3) came to the view and occupied the right side of the hall. It was a madhouse , who creaked the whole movie with a chair , rocked , who ate something , who chatted , in a word , we were unlucky . But I think that the staff of the planetarium and the teacher , the accompanying person should have explained to the students how to behave before the program , and so on. Special attention is paid to the chairs - they are just terrible and uncomfortable , after 10 minutes the neck was already numb and they did not know how to sit more comfortably , because it is inconvenient to look up at all . I recommend replacing the recumbent option on the floor. The second huge disadvantage is the toilet, which does not exist
You can only go to the park for a fee …
A one- time visit to this institution . I don't want to go back
It's such a warm place from my childhood. With friendly grannies at the entrance. A passionate girl who talks about the stars for the thousandth time. Only this time they didn't bring you, but you brought your child....
We were walking in the park and decided to go to the planetarium. I thought it would be worse. But it turned out to be a pretty informative lecture. While we were watching, we had time to relax and, with renewed vigor, went to conquer the park. What I want to say is, if you go purposefully to this institution, you will have to walk a little through the park. Therefore, it is better to combine it with attractions.
One star for the reason that they don't let children in the bathroom. This is a direct violation of the decree of the Ministry of Health of Belarus. The Planetarium administration, please note the remark. Sooner or later, someone will write this in a book of notes and suggestions, after which they will have to officially justify themselves.
I liked it! the room is small, and there were some technical problems on the day of our visit, but even so, the visit left a pleasant impression. I think in the future it is necessary to make more comfortable seats (or generally think about this point), because in ordinary seats the head gets numb quite quickly from having to tilt it back and keep it in this state. The girl who was talking about the stars had a very pleasant voice. in general, the whole story caught on. I advise you to go at least once!
unfortunately, I do not know the name of the girl who showed and told about the stars, but she has an amazingly beautiful and affectionate voice and a very pleasant speech!!! I really liked the planetarium, the film itself was interesting and the program after that was also fascinating. the only thing is, after some time, the neck starts to get numb because you have to constantly look at the top, it might be a little more convenient to make reclining chairs at least a few degrees 🪬🌸
The child and I liked it! We went to the cartoon - it's very unusual to look at the ceiling, cool image, good sound)) There are cartoons for different ages - from 4 years old, but you need to look at the child, my 3.2 was interesting and comfortable. The cartoon is 15 minutes long, then they show 15 minutes and tell about the stars and constellations (in complete darkness, keep this in mind) - the time is just right for children, I wouldn't have sat out longer)
There is not enough area with some models of the solar system and satellites that can be viewed before or after in the light - it would be cool at all.
The staff is very polite and friendly, the impression of the visit is pleasant, the price is more than acceptable (very inexpensive).
A good Soviet-era planetarium. The children will be interested. I would like to have reclining seats instead of armchairs, because I have to lift my head. The cost of the visit is ridiculous
I really liked it. We were with a 13-year-old daughter, there are separate sessions for primary school children and older children, we came at 12-30, took a little walk, because there was a session for kids, at 14 a session for older children began. The ticket is very inexpensive, 6 rubles for 12/30/2023. it is allowed to withdraw before the start of the session, we really liked everything
A YouTube movie in English with excellent Russian voice acting. They didn 't even remove the lower Windows strip 🤣
There are many interesting facts. But the program is more for elementary school than for the general public. The second part, the starry sky. In the country, you can see better 😥 The laser pointer twitches along the constellations. And what did I want the constellations to light up themselves?
The chairs are great, but the toilet is in the park 🤭
Well done, they are trying to do something, but of course it is high time to make repairs, buy better equipment. It's time to scale this and the direction somehow. But you're doing great anyway! I like to look in on you when I have the opportunity
We often go, after cartoons there is always an incredibly interesting story about the starry sky. The employees of the planetarium are real professionals, it's a pleasure to listen to them!
Cool. The atmosphere is a piece of the USSR carefully, carefully and carefully preserved in Belarusian. The employee expresses respect for the visitors with her dress code. This is how it disciplines the "not stupid". I want to get there for a lecture. Subscribed to their TG channel. In the summer I will go to look at the stars with a real telescope. Although through a 100-year planetarium it is also interesting
It's a very interesting place. We are particularly pleased with the frequently updated program of full-dome films. We also attended live music concerts with a full-dome video sequence. Very impressive. The only downside is that these projects are expensive. You often don't.
The observatory deserves special attention.
Special thanks for running the Telegram channel. You can find out about all the events, projects and observations at the observatory in advance.
I was here at the Music of the Universe concert. An interesting idea, live music and full-dome space projections. It is very beautiful and musical. Many thanks to all involved!
A small and very cozy planetarium, externally and internally completely preserved from the time of the Soviet Union (just nostalgia for childhood). It's a little cramped for adults in the hall itself, but the chairs are soft, everything is clearly visible and audible, the programs and films are new. I recommend visiting with children
On spring break, I visited the planetarium with my grandson. We watched an educational film about the universe and after the film we examined the starry sky together with the lecturer. Next time we plan to look at the stars through a telescope.
Well, how can you show a movie when one of the projectors is not working?!
We looked at a dark square for 30 minutes, sat right in front of it…
Why can't I warn you!
Very dismissive and disrespectful. Disappointed with the guide, - tactlessness and disregard
Until a recent visit, it was about 20 years ago. I went to the dome film 12+ with a child of 8 years old. A small price of 6 rubles per person is justified. My wife, my child and I quite liked it.
I think for young couples to rent the whole hall, sit together in complete darkness. Watching the starry sky in an embrace will be an interesting alternative to other options for spending time.
We were with the child on June 1 at the Planetarium on the cartoon "Hrumka" and we really liked it!!! A kind, interesting, magical cartoon! The child shouted to the whole hall and got a lot of emotions! The display on the dome inspired adults too! We remembered all the planets and constellations of our system! Thanks to the Planetarium!!!!!
I'm from St. Petersburg and we have two planetariums.
This one combines the two. Interesting spherical videos with the help of projectors and a classic planetarium with an "antediluvian" mechanism with a competent guide who projects star systems.
It's worth it!
I do not advise anyone, especially do not lead the guests of the capital, because they can spoil the impression of our beautiful city, the screen is very very dim, you have to lift your head and turn the whole session, because the chairs are not folding, there is no support for the neck, the neck will go numb, a young girl with a scythe well, very tedious tells how a teacher from the USSR, it's boring, but most importantly, the employees don't care about visitors, no ONE follows the order in the hall and compliance with the rules of visiting the pletarium, a girl and a certain male employee with a bald head appeared in the middle and they talked quite loudly themselves during the session, standing, interfering with viewing and visitors!!but this is not the end- at the beginning of the session, the girl said about the rules of behavior and that all the screens were turned off, then she left the hall, but I only found out later, if she didn't lie about it, the movie had just started, teenagers from the 10th gymnasium in the last row all turned on smartphones, it was impossible to watch, since even sideways the sharp light beat my vision like torture, my head and eye ached, the youngsters reacted to the request to turn off, refused, one moved through a couple of seats, for a small movie they talked not in a whisper over video communication many times, discussed the latest gossip, all the constellations were commented on, and two moms with very young ones were sitting in front the kids, the moms didn't even ask, realizing that the fruits were inadequate and the savages were sitting there, the kids listened to the mat, the inadequates watched the whole session tick-tok- I couldn't watch the movie at all, my head ached, the employee deigned to come in the middle of the session, she chatted with the man, perfectly saw all the mayhem and NOTHING she did, after I approached her, and asked how, she said that last time there were problems too, and as I understood, she specifically went out and pretended not to see that to save nerves (((it's a shame and a nightmare!the girl also tried to shift her responsibility to me, saying that I had to look for her in the hall, during the session, or rather behind the door, instead of watching the movie. I and an intelligent man from my row came out in shock, he also could not look, there was no text from the conversations of schoolchildren, a complaint was sent through the form on the website and 0 feedback.Avoid this place, they will spoil your good day and throw money away for nothing.I was sitting in a row with ordinary cattle and the workers just pretended that they didn't see anything, although the glow of the screens from all over the hall in pitch darkness is perfectly visible.Thank you for the disgusting session and complete disregard, I will not definitely come back here, there is a great alternative in the Palazzo or a better house on a clear screen without orov and mat and screens to look at. The employee did not offer compensation, nor a ticket to another session, nothing (a disgusting place, I came in a very good mood, I love such scientific films, I left on nerves ratsroennaya and could not switch to a positive attitude for a long time. The session was Saturday at 15.00. Disgusting comrades
The best planetarium! And we were in many. Especially employees! Not only an interesting film, but also a wonderful, informative lecture afterwards, under the starry sky, almost like a real one. It will be interesting for both children and adults.
A magical place that is worth visiting for everyone. There are many interesting programs, some of which are created by employees themselves. It is very informative for children
