We had a rest in early March, we were just delighted! I liked everything, the hotel and the room and the territory and the entertainment and the staff, the separate buffet theme is just great, there are a lot of pools, a lot of sun beds on the beach, you don't notice the crowds due to the territory!Thanks to the girls, the animators of the children's Evgenia Russian, the kids really liked it!The staff is polite, unobtrusively trying to speak Russian,the rooms are constantly cleaned, replenishes all supplies,the sea is clean,there is a lot of entertainment on the territory,there is a channel through which you can be taken from the beach to the central part,you can ride on winches and big bicycles ,you really liked everything at the reception,the staff are accommodating, placed as early as they could with the child! We rested for a week in October. The hotel is super.The territory is large, well-groomed, beautiful, lots of greenery.Water park for both children and adults, swimming pools.We went to all the restaurants, it was delicious and varied everywhere.There was no rotovirus (although I had read before that there would definitely be one in Egypt)The staff is polite and Russian-speaking.And they'll say hello and ask how you're doing.Most of the vacationers are Germans.The hotel has its own river, a boat ride to the sea.The sea is magical!Clean, transparent, warm!If any debris in the water is immediately removed.Well, the room probably depends on the price.The main sea! I liked the hotel, a good five

I drank a mojito, it suited me.
They did it very well on the beach, but it's disgusting in the lobby, it all depends on the bartender.

We stayed at this hotel in February 2025 and never regretted it!
We arrived at night, there was a quick check-in at the reception, and we were invited to a restaurant for a late dinner.
The room is great, the furniture is new, the TV with Russian-language channels.

The Neverland show is held in another Albatross hotel, and the staff didn't like it there. The show was held in the evening, there was a strong wind, many guests arrived in dresses-they sat and froze, asked for blankets, but the staff ignored them.
Since I had no desire to drink alcoholic beverages, I asked for TEA, but tea was not brought. They didn't even give me boiling water.…
I asked for a sprite, took out a bottle and put it in an ice bucket.…
Dinner is so-so, it would be better to eat in the Dana.
The performance is boring.

We stayed at this hotel with our children (16 and 5 years old) in December 2025. This is a city hotel, it's huge. Absolutely everyone will find something to do here. The sea with a coral reef (though not the best), a large beach with sun loungers and recliners. Bars, 4 restaurants, heated pools, outdoor Jacuzzi. There is a relaxation area with pools and a Jacuzzi, which is not allowed with children. We didn't get there for obvious reasons))) but for some, it's important that there are no noisy kids around. By the way, there is a children's pool with warm water and slides for kids, and a water park for older children and adults. There is also a kids' club for children, where you can bring children from 3 years old for a few hours. They study with them, make crafts and just play. For lovers of noisy parties, there is a club with a nightly show program and a disco, including a children's one.
On the territory you can play golf, tennis, catamaran or boat rides (a canal runs through the entire territory of the hotel to the beach), tandem bicycles. In general, it can be described for a long time. There's everything there for everyone. By the way, the sea is cold in December. As it turned out, it is much warmer in Sharm el-Sheikh at this time.
Vacationers are mostly Germans (I think 90 percent), there are few Russians. On the one hand, it may seem like a plus to some, but it was a little annoying that they constantly smoke in public places, and the presence of children next to them at that time did not bother them at all. Non-smoking Russians have already lost the habit of this).

We had a rest at the hotel in early June. The organization of the rest is not bad, they try to do everything, both cleaning and in the kitchen, and politely ask how you are. The room is lovely, big! There is a place to stay. There is no feeling of crowding, as in the Black Sea resorts. The room cleaning itself is for 3+. They promised a daily change of towels and, what surprised me, a change of bed linen, and then, as they say, disappointment came, the towels that were lying on the floor were politely put back in place. The bed linen was changed once, which surprised me, it was with very decent holes! And cleanliness and whiteness are also questionable. Also, as a separate note, these are pillows, not only are they huge, they are also wooden!!! It is not possible to sleep on them!!! The head just rolls off, when contacting the administration about this, firstly, they were very surprised at the issue of softness, and secondly, they brought the same wooden pillow. The territory of the hotel itself is very beautiful, there are many flowers, flowering trees, beauty of course. You will definitely not stay hungry in this hotel. There are many restaurants here, there is a lot to choose from, even seafood is presented! It's just a matter of taste. Entertainment is also available for different tastes and colors, as they say. A wonderful family hotel! Nutrition is above all praise! There are 5 restaurants with different cuisines working at the same time, unlimited access! Seafood, strawberries, fresh juices for breakfast! The staff is very attentive and smiling, we have never been told "no" at this hotel!) Everything we asked for was answered, "Yes, of course!" and they did it for us right there.
We had 3 families on vacation - and everyone was delighted! 2 people had a special gluten-free diet, so the chefs cooked pasta for them separately, right in front of us and showed the packaging that "gluten free" was painted.. There have always been gluten-free sweets in all restaurants.
The beach is huge, sandy. There is a pier, fish. But there are tides.. With small children - perfect! It is convenient to swim. The pools are cool, heated in winter (they don't save on heating, the water is really warm), there is a Jacuzzi, there is a water park with children's and adult slides. A river with fish runs through the territory, along which a boat (shuttle) floats and carries tourists for free.
The rooms are great. Condees are just a little old, they make noise. The cleanliness is perfect. The bed is comfortable, the linen is of high quality.
There are a lot of shops and pharmacies in front of the hotel. You can go there in the evenings. The hotel has a nightclub, alcohol is free.
In general, I recommend the hotel!

One day we forgot to close the safe and $ 230 disappeared from my wallet, there was no hope that they would be returned to us, but it was not right for the hotel management to ignore this issue, so we informed the reception about it, the hoteliers began to sort it out.First, the head of the reception area listened to us, then asked us to write.how much was there, how much was spent, how much was left, the shortage was brought out. Then the assistant general manager came up, as they said, and asked me to write a statement, it was clear that he expected discrepancies with the figures from the first paper, but this did not happen. Continuing to believe that we were lying, he asked to see the safe, wallet and all the cash we had, we agreed, went to the room, he counted all our cash, the numbers came together. Next, the assistant director general asked for permission to look for money in our belongings and suitcases, saying that missing money is often found in this way. It became clear that the procedure was started in order to delay the clarification under the guise of solving the problem, to arrange a conflict, to expose us as people who refuse to help. I repeat that we did not expect a refund and we did not need anything from them, and we had no evidence of theft. Personally, this is the first time I've been to Egypt in my 53 years. Now, if I go, I'll choose a high-level chamber hotel, rather than this anthill where everything works like a conveyor belt, here you are treated not as guests, but as details that move from morning to evening between the room and the dining room (otherwise not to say), the beach and the pool. In cases of theft, the same principle of the conveyor is activated, where the procedure for sending a "guest" is also worked out.
P.S. If someone thinks that there is no stealing in Egypt, this is not the case, the guards at the exit of the hotel through the service entrance search every employee.

The hotel struck with its huge territory with artificial rivers full of fish, along which boats regularly ply to transport vacationers to the beach. Throughout the territory there are manicured lawns, flowers and shrubs, beauty!!! there are many pools, there is a special water park for children. We were in December, it was no longer the season for swimming, cold winds were blowing, and the sea was cool, but the hotel has 2 heated pools, so we did not stay without swimming. In the morning, the tide was out at sea, to swim, you have to walk a decent distance. But sunbathing is the best thing. The beach bar starts working at 10.
The food is decent, there are several restaurants for every taste from European to local cuisine. You will not stay hungry, there is always a choice. The animation is decent, morning exercises, bachata, darts competitions, aqua aerobics, etc., an evening show of an average level, first a children's disco, then performances by artists, a vocal show and a disco in the restaurant, a lot of Russian-speaking and Germans (older), the former can be heard at discos, the latter can be seen in the reception hall playing bones drinking at the bar. In the evenings, live music is played in the central hall, there is a room for online broadcasts, and original coffee is prepared right there.
The room is cleaned daily, clean, beach towels are provided by the pool by cards. I liked the hotel very much, the sea disappointed me, I have to come in season.

I would like to note only one single disadvantage, the attitude towards Russians from the service staff is not very good! The hotel is definitely not a five-star hotel. There are no bathrobes, there are not enough slippers for everyone.
Overall, it's not bad, but the choice of food in restaurants leaves much to be desired. There are 5 restaurants on the territory and everything is the same everywhere, with very very small exceptions.
I liked the river where you can take a boat to the beach from the reception.

Room 4229 is clean but tired (there is no 1 section of the door in the closet, the faucet is leaking, the bidet is not fixed to the floor. Room cleaning is excellent. The bed linen is not changed. Bathrobes are provided on request - from the moment of the request to the receipt of the bathrobes, it took about 24 hours, they asked for 4 brought 2, although 4 people lived in the room. The pillows for me were hard, I asked to replace the pillow, they were not replaced. The pools are clean, lifeguards are on duty everywhere. The beach is huge. We had a family vacation (the child is 3 years old) in December 2023. The hotel is super: big, clean, green, plenty of room for an evening stroll. There are two boats cruising along the river. There are no queues in restaurants, the food does not end, all restaurants have high chairs that fit the tables, one restaurant has a children's area with a TV. Ice cream is served from lunch (delicious). You can take the substrates and take out the food on the food cord.
A children's pool, a pool with slides and one simple pool were heated. There is a playground, a children's club with an indoor pool and slides, there are swings on the territory, there is mini golf (free of charge).

We rested with my wife in this hotel from 17.01 to 25.01.2024. Everything is great. The check-in took place quickly, the room was given 1907, on the second floor. The room is clean, the bed is large, the TV (2 Russian channels), everything is fine.
The territory of the hotel is large, there is a children's area (also large), children's water slides, in general, everything is fine. Everything is clean and well maintained.
There is an adult and children's water park, everything is fine on the slides.
The restaurants are excellent. Someone wrote that there was nothing to eat, I don't know, we had enough. Available:chicken,beef,fish, once there were shrimps (large).
Animation, in principle, my wife and I did not need it. There were contests in the evening, children's songs and dances, and there were dances by the pool in the afternoon.
Beach:clean, well maintained, plenty of hammocks and an umbrella. The entrance to the sea is smooth, there is sand on the beach.

We walked to the sea, going to the Castello restaurant (mostly we ate there, but the food was mostly the same everywhere and there was not much choice what to feed the child) and fed the fish. Because I have been dealing with the quality of service in the banking sector for more than 30 years and, of course, more than one trip behind me.So. The advertising slogan...The luxurious 5-star Dana Beach Resort hotel complex, located on the seashore, is deservedly considered the leader among the Pickalbatros hotels. Here, sophistication and comfort are perfectly combined with premium class services...Now Just the facts. Unfortunately, we had an early check-in...but not so much ... we were at the hotel at 11.30, the manager came out to us who speaks Russian poorly (we can explain ourselves in English), but we decided to see what would happen next. He offered me a drink, put on my bracelets, said you'd have lunch, and the room would be ready at 12:30 by 13:00, okay. Obviously, I will say that as it turned out, the staff on the premises are simpler than waiters, lifeguard, etc. they speak languages much better, and only German is well known at the reception. We had lunch and toured the area. We approached the reception, our manager referred to his heavy workload and generally no longer knows Russian words, pointed towards a pile of German passports, and told us to wait for 14.00. Well, we decided in principle not to solve this issue corruptly. In general, after half an hour, the reception was empty, everyone was settled, and if we hadn't come up at 14, I think we would have been sitting for a long time. For 5 stars, the division of guests into 1 grade and 2 is unacceptable. Yes, 90 percent of the hotel's guests are from Germany, but it doesn't matter for ...5 stars, and as advertised in premium class services.).

The only thing is that there is absolutely no place to hide from the wind from the sea, as well as from the sun in July or August, only rooms and kindergartens on other sides of the buildings. There are very well-groomed cats on the territory (for this great respect), they have feeding places with clean bowls, and in the evenings we go with a large bag of dry food and feeds them. Rooms, we got 5419 in building 5000, clean, everything works, the room is large, but tired and linen too, shampoo, lotion, balm, soap in the room. We had a shady side, and the temperature was 9 degrees outside at night, and the room was cold. The cleaning is good. Naturally, everyone loves tips. The animation is unobtrusive, the contingent is still family or elderly, retired. There is a good water park for small children, playgrounds, and an adult water park did not work during our visit. The fruits are imported, except for dates, strawberries do not smell like strawberries. If there was seafood or batter or heavily seasoned, what could be better than just fresh grilled shrimp? On the penultimate day, due to bad weather, I decided to ask for a late check-out, I decided to communicate in English at the reception, a nice girl said that it was possible, and already at the stage of registration and having announced the cost to me (I already prepared the bill), the manager, who hardly speaks Russian, came from somewhere and said no, no, only tomorrow(on the day of departure) at 9.30 it will be clear if they will be able to extend the room. It looked very strange. Apparently the wrong guest again.) As a result, they allowed us to stay in the room for free until 14, and to put out our luggage at 13, although we left at 14.00, the luggage was still at the door. Why this carousel is unclear. Then we spent 3 hours wandering around the windy territory, well, at least we didn't take off the bracelet, and thanks for that. Summary the staff, gardeners, waiters, cleaners, etc. are trying very hard, but with middle managers they still have to work and work, the face of the hotel should somehow be more welcoming and professional. We had a vacation in Dana Beach together with my husband in January 2025. Super hotel!!! I've been to Egypt about 30 times, and I usually don't pay attention to any chips on the sinks, stains on the windows, or mold in some corners, knowing that there is no perfect cleanliness in Egypt, but there is a beautiful Red Sea.. The Dana Beach Hotel just surprised me!! A chic hotel with a large beautiful territory, excellent service, a modern clean room, 5 restaurants with delicious food: fresh juices every morning, salmon in the Castello on the 2nd floor, shrimp, squid, delicious lamb, beef tongue, good quality alcohol and many other goodies in the evenings! The temperature in it is 31 degrees, so we, vacationers in December, really liked it. The territory is monitored and kept clean. I definitely recommend going to a coffee shop, they make very delicious coffee there, but the staff does not react quickly, we often had to wait for attention to be paid to us. This has never happened in other restaurants. The beach is good, but the promised reef is dead. There were fish, of course, but we have something to compare it with, so we didn't even dive from the pontoon. The peculiarity of the beach and the entry into the sea is that you can walk along the spit very far, as on the Gulf of Finland. Who knows, he will understand. The overall impression is good. We took a taxi to the mall, but there were too many people there, the prices are the same as everywhere else.

Among the disadvantages, we can note a weak hair dryer, not the best cosmetics, the lack of slippers and bathrobes in the rooms, but it does not bother much. In a huge, well-groomed and clean area, you can ride on a small boat, or on 4-seater bicycles. Darts, bocce, mini golf. Water slides, including children's ones. The entrance to the sea with sand is fairly flat. There are many restaurants. The food is not bad by Egyptian standards, the alcohol is only local.
