The staff was polite, particularly when interacting with children. They were proactive in suggesting options that might be more suitable. However, there was a mix-up with our order, and a different waiter had to come and ask us what we had ordered. The preparation took approximately 30 minutes.
When the food arrived, my son discovered a metal object in his dumplings. Upon inquiring, the staff informed us that the dumplings were not made in-house, and they only cooked them. I would have expected a dish replacement or at the very least, an apology.
When we approached the cashier, we were offered to stay and finish our tea. After declining the offer, they allowed us to leave without charging us for the meal

Palermo Cafe
On Ketavan Dedopali Avenue, not far from Avlabari metro station. The cafe is family friendly, they meet with love, they cook delicious food and the most reasonable prices, they checked everywhere more expensive. The interior is modest, but mentally, comfortably, the dishes are large enough for one for two, soups can be taken in halves, excellent food, wed check 1500- 2000 rubles, compared to prices in the city lower by an order of magnitude, where to eat for two from 3000 rubles and above, we got 5000 rubles. Food in Georgia is more expensive than in Moscow, please note.
Try the meat and potatoes, the wine is decent, my husband highly appreciated the chacha. Georgian lemonade is beyond praise. The hostess is just a miracle, she calls all the visitors: my children, after that you don't notice how you become a child who came to his parents to have a delicious meal. A small cafe in the center of the capital of Georgia - Tbilisi with very sincere and friendly service. The price tag is humane, considering that this is the center of tourist Tbilisi. The interior is ordinary without frills. The menu is small, but everyone will find something to their liking. The portions are large. The service is fast, but sometimes the waitresses confuse the order tables. But this is a small detail.The only drawback is the car parking. There is practically no room. We parked the car nearby, and upon returning found that we were stupidly "locked up" by another car. I had to wait for an hour for the negligent owner, who did not even bother to leave a phone for communication. So be careful with that. Otherwise, we were satisfied. I recommend this restaurant to everyone to visit. You won't leave there hungry, that's for sure.

Great cafe with low prices and sooooo delicious food. Khinkali is the cheapest and tastiest here (we tried it in several places in Tbilisi) .But the main "trick" of this cafe is that the owner is Victoria, who is 75! let herself serves the visitors and gives very useful tips on what to eat and what to do. Everyone calls her "Mama Vika." She and her friends serve this cafe, they are very sincere, they will come up, ask, hug. My husband and I have never met a kinder relationship and a sincere cafe anywhere, and we traveled half the world and ate in all kinds of restaurants, cafes, and eateries. This is the best! I came here on the recommendation of a travel blogger on YouTube, and I didn't regret it! It is not a very large and homely cafe. The staff working harmoniously in the hall immediately attracted attention. I got the feeling that I came to visit my beloved and caring aunts to taste khachapuri. )
The menu is not big, but all the main hits of traditional cuisine are there. The portions are simply huge! Think carefully before ordering TWO different dishes. It will be difficult to leave the table.
Kharchos with chacha, made especially for the institution, are simply indescribably delicious! A salad of baked eggplant and juicy khinkali finally convinced me of the skill of the chef of the establishment.
All this, combined with the local flavor in the communication of the staff with the guests of the cafe, left a very pleasant impression.

The dumplings were very tasty, the portion was large (about 14 pieces of dumplings) and hearty, after they you could not eat anything, even it was hard to finish them because they are very satisfying. The dumplings were with sour cream and butter, so they were delicious and did not stick together.
Victoria recommended pizza to us. She said it was the best pizza, and it's true. We took a ham pizza, one of the most delicious pizzas that I have tasted in Georgia.
The pancakes with meat were small but hearty, there was parsley that the child did not really appreciate, but everything else was delicious

We've been to this cafe twice.
The interior is very outdated, but everyone goes for delicious food and an adequate price tag (almost).
The portions are large, really tasty, so don't order too much from hunger. We were, for example, at Saamo on recommendation, and were very upset (the interior is prettier, but more expensive and generally tasteless).
Don't expect European service and standards in Palermo - it's a simple place where you can feel like an old friend.
The only thing that confused us was the miscalculation. You may not have noticed the % service charge, but at least it wasn't on the menu. The first time it was 3 lari more, the second time it was 9 lari. With the same waitress, the hostess's daughter. We did not try to find out, to make a scandal - the money is small, instead of tips. But if you have a clear amount laid down for the visit, it is better to clarify this point in advance.
Otherwise, we were satisfied and we will be happy to come back again.

Vic's mom, the owner of the establishment, asked. By the way, she is 38 years old today - so it's even hard to imagine what level of "Delicious" will be in Palermo today.
In this place, for the first time I tried a simple dish (fried eggs), which I absolutely do not understand how it could be made so fantastic.
Here, for the first time, I ate something with boiled and fried onions - although the very sight of such a product makes me feel the most disgusting.
My friend and I (who also calmly tasted the dish with the cilantro he hated for the first time) came every morning and just went with the flow - Vic's mother offered us herself. And every time it was something super special and amazing.
So, I definitely recommend it and get ready to eat after Palermo only in Palermo) if, of course, after breakfast or lunch you just want to eat)

A very soulful cafe. We found it by accident: we asked a local Georgian where you can have a delicious and inexpensive lunch. He took us by the hand to the Palermo and introduced us to the owner, the charming Victoria. We were offered many delicious dishes. Eggplant salad, author's pilaf, dolma. If you mix local lemonade with the taste of tarragon and with a creamy taste, you will get a drink reminiscent of the Lagidze fruit waters known in Soviet times.
Many people come here for a cup of excellent coffee. And, of course, try homemade wine from Georgian grapes, made by an Armenian woman according to a Jewish recipe.
When we are in Tbilisi, we will try to visit this cafe again.

The daughter of the owner of the establishment, Malvina, was very sweet and friendly. The dishes are very tasty, the portions are large (we took for two, and the salad for four)). We liked the cafe so much that we decided to have dinner here with a friend. We've been here twice. We had dinner once, and before departure we went for breakfast.
I liked the dinner, we ordered khinkali, they were very tasty. Vegetable salad is a large portion. In general, it is budget-friendly and delicious.
There was some kind of misunderstanding with breakfast. We ordered an omelet with ham. They brought us ham and mushrooms. When we asked what we ordered only with ham, we were told that we were not heard when ordering (although the woman wrote down everything we ordered in a notebook in Russian). We were in a hurry and couldn't really wait for another portion to be cooked, so we agreed to it.
After 5 minutes, they came up and said that they had mixed it up in the kitchen. Then they came up again and said that they would have to pay not 8 or even 10, but 12 lari, since there was both ham and cheese. There is not even such a position in the menu. The situation is ugly, and customers do not go to a meeting, although the employees actually make a mistake.
