The fort of Mutrah is a very good place to visit in Muscat, the ticket is 3.3 OMR
Tonally worth the visit, you will need to climb a lot of stairs around 220 step to reach the top part
It has overall view for the Whole corniche of Mutrah, the view is breathtaking.
Make sure to add it to your list when you Visit Muscat.

A beautiful place near the market. In the evening, there is a stunning view of the city and the embankment. I went for a run there at sunset, it was very memorable.

After visiting the “Palace & People Museum”, our guide Pavel drew attention to the fact that we are at the foot of the historical, architectural and fortification landmark - Muttrah Fort. It is believed that the fort was originally built on the mountain in 1507 by the British, but then it was overhauled (with an increase in the thickness of the walls and towers) Rebuilt by the Portuguese during their occupation of Oman in the 1500s. It remained an important defensive structure until our time. If there is time, it is worth a visit, as from the top there are stunning views of the port and the surroundings of Muttrach Corniche, it will cost you nothing!️
