My husband and I were brought to the Old Market (Matrah Suk) in Muscat by our guide, Pavel, so that we could plunge into the exotic and feel the oriental flavor of Oman, for which he conducted a short tour for us in this authentic place (about 40 minutes). There is no authenticity, a boring and uninteresting market, compared to other colorful oriental markets. Sellers are very intrusive, they do not bargain very much. And the product is especially without choice and interest for me.
