Nice quiet airport. Clean, some choices of food and shopping. Free WiFi at special kiosk.
The airline is as always klean, comfortable and friendly ❤️Thank you Oman Air.
The airport is very small, but it is comfortably equipped. It's clean, everything you need is there,
The main disadvantage is that everything happens here as in a two-time slow motion movie.
Registration of all international flights for five posts? Yes, easily. There is a queue before entering the airport, people are nervous, what needs to be done? that's right, put a guy with a flight schedule who SLOWLY catches those who are leaving "right now" from the queue and escorts EACH ONE SEPARATELY to the check-in desk.
Do you take your passport at passport control and start discussing the latest news/telling a joke with your neighbor? putting the passport aside? easy.
during the inspection, see an acquaintance in the queue (and Oman is a big village where all the distant relatives are) and start talking to him, forgetting that there is a queue for you, and the guy with whom you are communicating is also standing in this queue? Well, how else?
Go to a cafe to get the chips/soda you ordered and hang in front of the soda counter for about five minutes? easily.
as a conclusion: if this is a transit airport for you, and you need to pass the time, then there is no better place to find. I went to get some chips and spent about fifteen minutes. and if Muscat is your place of arrival /departure, feel free to add at least one hour to the estimated time :))
Very beautiful. It is interesting to read the history of the airport's construction on the walls with photos. It was spacious and comfortable, clean, not too crowded, and my family and I were comfortably accommodated in the charging chairs.
It's a very decent airport, everything is in the best traditions. Beautiful, comfortable, modern. The navigation is clear, the inspection is unobtrusive. I was there twice, on arrival and on departure. I'm not disappointed. Quite a decent and attentive audience at the control and assistance desks.
It's a great airport because it feels like it's new. Not fussy, calm.
Interesting lighting.
But it took a long time to check at passport control upon arrival in Muscat.
But on the return flight I went for a walk in duty free. There is an AMOUAGE boutique. The girls and I bought a cool set of mini vials - this is a TRAVEL SPRAY SET, there are 3 vials in a package, the cost of the box is 175 dollars, you can choose different flavors. We divided it into three and each one turned out to be a little more than $ 58 per bottle. It's cool and convenient.
The airport is good.
Nice, spacious, comfortable and clear. There are many cafes where delicious coffee is served. They understand Russian, and there are many restrooms and smoking rooms. There are benches where you can comfortably wait for boarding the plane.
It doesn't compare to other airports in the Middle East, poor thing. But the transfer was organized conveniently and quickly, despite the lateness of the plane, we managed to get everywhere. I liked that the boarding passes of the late transfer passengers had already been printed out in advance
I liked the airport very much, it's clean, quiet, the staff will always help. Wi-fi works well, it's easy to connect. There are many places where you can relax, pleasant music is playing. There are smoking areas, clean and comfortable. Beautiful design at the airport, unobtrusive and at the same time original. If you fly in transit, you can relax in peace.
It's a good airport. We were in transit twice. Easy navigation, quick inspections, no queues. As there are shops and cafes everywhere. There are a lot of toilets and smoking rooms. We were amazed by the benches for recreation-we didn't like some of them (. Slipped off). There are rest rooms with sofas and armchairs. Many even slept there on a soft carpet on the floor. Everyone will find a place to relax, charge their phone and get free water. The Internet via a scanned passport also works stably for 3 hours
A good airport, everything is clear, everything is convenient. The prices at the airport cafe are the same as in the city!!!!!for the citizens of the Russian Federation, this is a shock))) the border was passed quickly without any problems, the buses to the city are very comfortable with air conditioning, you need to go down from the arrival area.
There are sofas on the 2nd floor to sleep at night, unfortunately the food court is only normal in the departure area.
If you have a long transfer, I advise you to take a bus to a large mosque nearby.
If you walk past the mosque a little, you can find inexpensive cafes with delicious local food on the right side.
A beautiful, comfortable airport without huge crowds of tourists. It is very clean both inside and outside the airport.
We flew in transit in both directions to Thailand and back. We didn't experience any inconveniences. Everything is clear and informative. Friendly airport staff. To have a snack in a cafe, easily find a place to smoke, even managed to use free Wi-Fi with a passport, although it did not work out to distribute it to the family, everyone needs to do this registration procedure.
There was a long docking and we were leaving for the city. We even managed to bargain with taxi drivers and bring down the price! Further in the city, they used a mobile application for ordering a taxi, which is very convenient. We checked in before arriving in Oman. OTAXI.
Those who read in advance what kind of country Oman is, and especially the airport, will not be surprised by the high prices for everything. We were lucky and all our connections took place at the appointed time, without postponement. The departure to the city was great and we will be happy to take advantage of the long connection once again. There is a lot to see in Muscat.
The airport is very clean. Passport control is fast. Luggage is delivered quickly. There is a taxi stand at the exit. Overall, everything is nice and welcoming.
The airport is simply gorgeous: large and spacious. I was in transit, the check was quick, the navigation was convenient, it was difficult to get lost, duty-free shops were also good, there were a lot of different branded goods. The staff was polite and friendly, everything was clean. Unfortunately, I could not get around the entire airport, as there was little time, but what I saw was quite satisfactory
I have citizenship of the Republic of Belarus, and I flew with my wife from Qatar to Oman, knowing that visas have been canceled for Belarusian citizens since December 2024. As a result, the passport control staff did not want to let me through , because they did not know the innovations in the laws. I had to call the shift supervisor , and even then they pretended that they were letting me in because I was traveling with my wife , and not because I needed a visa , which I consider to be complete nonsense.
A stunning huge airport, a beautiful architectural structure. Beautiful, well-maintained territory, with fountains, a huge green wall. There are a lot of shops, cafes, places to relax and wait for the plane.
It's a good airport. There were no problems with the passage. Russians do not need a visa to enter the city. There is an exchanger. Taxi drivers are waiting for customers at the exit, with their prices. I ordered a taxi through the omantaxi app
If there's one good thing about this terminal, it's that you can profitably buy AMOUAGE perfumes. After all, the country of origin. It will be more expensive in Dubai. And so --- the airport is like an airport. I won't say anything bad.
Everything is class, service, comfort. We need to learn from their service. Especially our ports. Smoking rooms smell like perfume. Water is free even though there is a desert all around.
A good and convenient airport. Nicely. You can safely wait for your flight. There is a huge selection of perfumes in Duty free. You can buy coffee and food. But there is no free Wi-Fi.
Great airport: new, clean, lots of places to sit down and lie down. The business lounge is also very comfortable, spacious, with delicious food and coffee, there is a shower room. Big duty free, prices can be found lower than in Russia
I liked the airport. Good navigation, interesting shops, lots of different food outlets. There are enough waiting places, we had a long transfer, the waiting was very comfortable. It is very important for my husband that there are smoking rooms, they are there, conveniently located, large.
It is a very beautiful and fresh airport, there was a transfer at five o'clock at night. Clear navigation, many places where you can sit and lie down, all sockets are working, there are European ones. Unlimited Wi-Fi in a white kiosk with a passport. A very pleasant business lounge, a good selection of dishes, there is a shower, worth the money.
The best and most convenient airport I've been to. Everything is done beautifully, comfortably and elegantly. Upholstered sofas and armchairs, a smoking room, a chic room for children's games, fountains with water for drinking. Taking care of the passengers!
The airport is large and multi-storied.A very decent business lounge. The set of goods from the Dutch Free store is standard.Good navigation, don't get lost.
Excellent and comfortable airport, very green. Few people, on the evening flight in general, almost alone were at the controls. A good Dutifrey, a large selection of Amouage at the best price in both Oman and Dubai. A large corner of Rituals cosmetics.
The only thing I didn't like was a very small selection of places for a snack at very inflated prices.
I wasn't happy with Duty free at all. The choice is small. I advise you to go straight to the business lounge on the 5th floor, it's more interesting to spend time there.
A comfortable airport. There is something to occupy the child with a long-term transplant. A whole game room with a slide, an airplane and soft cubes. There are plenty of places to sit. Clean toilets. Clear navigation. It's not crowded. Free Wi-Fi on your passport.
Minus the cost of food at the airport. Very expensive considering our current course.
Taking into account the dollar exchange rate, it is more profitable to buy at Muscat airport in Dutica than in Dubai, Bangkok or Moscow. It's nice to walk, there's a place to sit. The disadvantage is the high price in the cafe, of course, it is high everywhere at the airport.
A cup of espresso coffee is 800 rubles.
A clean and cozy airport. There is a place to sit. There are few shops. There is almost nowhere to eat. A couple of cafes with ready-made sandwiches and one overprice restaurant. Basically, everyone orders food at the McDuck.
A modern airport. No downsides. Clear. Duty free shops. Cafe. It was the final destination, but I know it is used for transfers with a long wait. It is clear that the airport is ready for this.
A small airport. There is everything you need to pass the time while waiting for a flight connection. You can use your passport to get a password for local WiFi. But to recharge your gadgets, you'll have to run) There is a good selection and variety of goods in Duty free stores, there is one disadvantage - everything is sold for local currency. This is not always convenient. There are food outlets, including international network ones, but again you can pay either in cash in local currency or with international plastic card systems. Union Pay is not going through.
We had stops at Muscat airport, there is a huge playground in the center of the hall, children of all nationalities play together, it's great! As for the payment system, only cash, change is given in local currency, which can be spent in airport shops.
The airport is very clean and large. Lots of shops, a nice lounge. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed at this airport and they are not sold anywhere. Rather, there is a duty free, but you can not use it. And there is no access to cafes and restaurants. There are restaurants and fast food in the transit area.
A chic, spacious and convenient airport. There is a place to relax after a long flight, there is a place to have a snack. Free Internet according to passport data, although you have to stand in line for a while at the terminal. Large panoramic windows with mountain views.
Good Wi-fi on a passport for 4 hours, 2 smoking rooms for each exit, plenty of space to wait for departure, there is a hotel, lots of convenience stores, lots of food courts. The transfer was 6 hours, I was not tired.
It is large and spacious. Of the minuses, one can note the "scarcity" of the local Duty free for alcohol, but this was to be expected. I was a little confused by the search for a business lounge - it's confusing. It was necessary to climb on two sheets. Otherwise, very pleasant memories.
One of the best airports of the ports. There is everything you need. There is a lot of space to sit and lie down. There are enough food outlets, cafes and fast food.
Comfortable, large, comfortable. There are smoking rooms, official, large, in each departure area, or even two. There is a place to eat and relax for transit passengers, there is enough space. Duty free is expensive and the choice is not very good. In general, a good airport
A nice clean airport terminal, with convenient travelators, a clear scoreboard that displays flight information at all times, and an excellent selection of drinks at duty free
The airport is like an airport, everything is standard. The staff is friendly. There is a Duty free. There are many places to relax. There are terminals for connecting via passport wi-fi for free
Very convenient, very beautiful, very clean airport! The comfort of staying at the highest level! There is everything! At the same time, there are no crowds and a queue! The staff is everywhere, always happy to help.
I can also note it, it is small, but nevertheless the hotel is in it for 6 people, with 5 points, the lounge area is also pleasing, but the Internet is not very there, a scan of the passport requires the lowest speed, it is not very long to wait for a transfer there without communication.
