1) The airport is quiet. Flights arrive in "bundles" about once every 3-4 hours and it is briefly filled with transit passengers. Then it's a little empty and quiet again - they don't make ads, you need to read clear boards.
2) WiFi at the airport is simple. No need to take any free sim cards on the plane. After entering the transit area, we find white terminals (such as Kiwi) and the inscription WiFi on the column near. Choose English, scan your passport and get a six-digit code for 4 hours. The network is fast enough.
3) Food, etc. ALL prices on the food court are without VAT. The price tags are not very humane (a big mac is about 10 + bucks / a "complex" three-course lunch for 40-50 bucks), it is better to bring the sandwiches with you.
Coffee and drinks are many times more expensive than anywhere else in our country (5-6 dollars or OMR 2.5-5.0 for a simple Americano), BUT in all terminals there are blue Lavazza vending machines for coffee and drinks. There's a cup of freshly ground coffee from OMR 0.6 -0.8 (1 buck+). There are also drinks there. The vending machines DO NOT GIVE CHANGE, we changed the money for 100 bytes in the exchanger on the 3rd floor, but they will help you everywhere
4) Smoking rooms are available in each terminal within the first escalator. Coffee machines are also available in the smoking rooms.
5) Toilets (M/W/changing rooms) are everywhere.
6) There is a free children's playground.
7) You can stay in the hall of any terminal - when the flow of transit workers subsides, you can take and lie on the sofas, sleep or leaf through the TLF - no one will say anything. For a fee, there are long legs (Premium on the 3rd floor).
8) Shopping. Here, who needs what at highly international prices. Someone is willing to pay for cigarettes at 2500r /block, someone buys a loaf, someone buys an expensive perfume (dutifrey Muscat has its own website with price tags)
