a good hostel, we were met at the reception by a friendly receptionist, Igor, who checked us in and escorted us to the room, gave us a tour along the way, showed us where the kitchen, shower, toilet were, we lived on the 2nd floor, our room was clean until I opened the lockers, there was dust on the shelves, some crumbs, the problem was the fact that the administrators here are responsible for both service and cleanliness in the rooms and in the hostel as a whole, and most likely they will not have time to physically clean everything here, because the turnover here is specific, while you wash in the shower, it will flood everything around, and after the shower you will wash the floor. and clean up all that water after yourself.
the walls here are made of cardboard, but the most interesting thing is the contingent of people who absolutely do not respect anyone, slam doors, do not clean up after themselves both in the kitchen and in the toilet, and yell after 22.00, if you consider it as an overnight stay, it will do, but we still have mixed feelings.
If you want to save as much as possible and live in the center of Minsk, then you are here. But sometimes it's better to overpay, and that's what I'll do when I get back here. Let's start with a good one:
+ proximity to the center
+ budget price
+ the administrator is Igor, who is doing his best to keep the hotel in order, while performing all other duties, including cleaning.
+ no insects
And now, let's go, the cons. The hotel needs to recruit staff, it's difficult for one person to keep it all, even though he tries. The closets of the room are very dusty, and the entrance smells incredibly of sweaty socks. The inscription "do not put outdoor shoes on the white closet" is ignored by everyone.
Toilets and showers are shared, the shower is very leaky, wash carefully if you do not want to fill the entire floor. The door to the bathroom is broken, and considering that it is next to the kitchen, it causes inconvenience to both eaters and visitors to the bathroom.
And everything would be fine, but the worst of it is the hotel guests. The contingent is diverse - from citizens of Asian republics to residents of distant African countries. And most of them have no idea about culture - they slam doors, make noise, yell, sing songs, and swine, which directly contradicts the laws of the Republic of Belarus on silence.
In general, decide for yourself - economy or comfort.
Pros:
Location, unobtrusive staff (they didn't even ask for documents upon arrival), everything is quite democratic, new furniture on the beds, individual lamps and sockets, PRICE, quiet at night
Minuses:
It's uncomfortable (subjectively), the contingent is suspicious, the cleanliness is below average, the towel from hell is simple (clean, but the condition of many years of honest service), everything is sad with the bathrooms
In general, it is normal to spend the night, but I would choose another place next time in Minsk.
