The rooms are old, but they are being renovated, perhaps they will be updated by winter. The food in the restaurants is not very diverse, but you will not stay hungry. We were at the hotel 08/21/22—08/27/22
Positive:
-Large, well-maintained territory
-spacious beach with plenty of sun beds
-spacious rooms, always had hot water, cleaning and towel change every day
-friendly staff, always ready to help
-several pools (with and without music)
-availability of bars with a selection of different cocktails (non-alcoholic ones were very pleased)
-a large selection on the buffet
-beautiful clear sea with reef and fish
-different activities during the day (volleyball, football, darts, dancing, etc.)
-there are different excursions. We took snorkeling in the sea and a trip to Orange Bay (a kind of Egyptian Maldives). The reef there is amazing!!! I highly recommend it.
Cons:
-Arabic notes in the dishes. There are a lot of spices in almost everything, the stomach couldn't stand it after a week. I advise you to take pills for the digestive system with you
- for those with children: there is almost no animation for children in the evening, 2-3 dances, then the children themselves (on their parents)
- a very strange choice of music during the day. Sometimes it doesn't exist at all, then "Happy new year" plays at 40 degrees Abbs, sometimes include familiar foreign pop music

A great hotel for a reasonable price. The rooms are well designed, the kitchen is a bit monotonous (fish, chicken, beef), a nice sandy beach. Only you need to take the room away from the main pool if you want to be quiet in the evenings! There's a party and outdoor music.

A decent hotel . The staff is trying their best. We were in March 23rd. Tips for tourists: take care of your hands when using sunbeds on the beach, there are rusty pieces of iron and nails . Taxi - uber only, $ 2 to the center of Hurghada or senzomol. When called , tell the number of the car at the reception so that the guard will let it through . When you hear the sound of a street fumigator, close the windows/doors. One of the minor disadvantages is a snack at the bar from 13-00, despite the fact that breakfast ended at 10-00, and lunch begins at 12-30. Well, it's logical from 10 to 13. The reef is small, but the main fish are present, there is even a poisonous stingray and cuttlefish. Mango juice is not cold on the beach , unlike pineapple. Local beer in bars (except beach beer ) passable . Buy a local SIM card (in aero or in the city), it's cheap and all messengers work, Wi-Fi is weak in the bar and reception. Telegram works better on video calls. There are many Russians , Poles, Czechs, French and various other Swedes . The food is not bad for an Egyptian 4*. Have a good rest, everyone.

A wonderful hotel, very beautiful, good location, food (insanely delicious pastries and desserts). The rooms are not large, but fresh and comfortable. Animation is also on top, and most importantly, it does not interfere with those who prefer a relaxing holiday. Clean beach and water.
The negative impression was left by the behavior of the Hazem employee at the reception. Outright disregard for us on his part. 11/23/21 we stayed at this hotel for work. The application specified a clear number of single and double rooms, since some employees are assigned single rooms. But the application was ignored, and most importantly, Hazem not only did not try to solve the problem, but also defiantly threw the keys under the reception desk, and ignoring continued to go about his business without reacting in any way. When asked to check the application again and settle in accordance with it, he just pretended that he did not understand, then said that there were no rooms. As a result, after a long flight, there was absolutely no strength left to argue and find out, because they were falling off their feet from fatigue. I had to agree to these conditions, which is probably what the employee was counting on. The check-in took over an hour. There was another surprise in the room, noisy construction work was underway upstairs, which prevented a good rest. Hazem couldn't have been unaware of this. Disgusting behavior of an employee. I would like to note that there were no provocations on our part to negativity, we were polite and tactful in communication. I have to stay in hotels all over the world, but this is the first time I've seen this behavior.

We were in July of this year, at the hottest time in Egypt, but we knew what we were going for. The hotel is cozy, there are signs everywhere, you will not get lost. The food is decent, there is a small variety. The beach is gorgeous, it is located close, the water is clean, only one day there were algae. The staff is friendly, and they speak Russian at the reception. The rooms are old, but they are cleaned well, they give water every day. In general, I liked the rest, I recommend you to visit!

Good afternoon, Everyone. We rested at the Mercury Hotel for the second time and were not disappointed. This is the main thing. The territory is as well maintained as the first time. The gardeners are trying their best. They create comfort and beauty for vacationers. There weren't even any annoying mosquitoes in the evenings now. The bars work properly on the beach without alcohol, by the pool near the amphitheater, beer is poured into cups and also by the pool near the reception. All open at 10.00 am, including the Azur bar. Cocktails are used everywhere and everything else is strong for an additional fee. The restaurant's breakfasts are a little monotonous, but still the choice is large, you definitely won't leave hungry. Lunches and dinners meat and fish dishes in sufficient quantity and very tasty. Pastries, cakes and bakery products are of great variety, White, pink and red wine is poured into glasses for lunch and dinner. We liked the white wine. The service is standard. The reception staff is competent, almost everyone understands or speaks Russian. There is a young guy there named Mohammed who recently graduated from the Cairo Institute of Foreign Languages. I am ready to help everyone. He speaks Russian perfectly. The beach is always clean all the time. The pool bar has a bartender named Ahmed, a professional in his field. Animation works on the beach and in the amphitheater in the evening. A girl named Natasha is doing her best to stir us all up. And she does it well. The rooms are a separate conversation, simply put, tired ones require at least cosmetic repairs, the linen was almost new. I do cleaning every day, but not always efficiently. Do I need to recommend it to anyone, definitely YES. The logistics are good.

We stayed at the hotel in October 2023. This was our second visit since 2012. The hotel has changed a lot. New buildings and two new swimming pools have been built. I liked the attitude of the staff. A wonderful girl Marina works at the reception, who will always help with any questions.
The food is normal, you will not stay hungry. But the most beautiful thing is the sea, clean, transparent. That's what we're going for. We are going to come again this year. Thanks to all the staff for a good rest.

We were at this hotel in early October 2022. Close to the airport. The territory is beautiful. The sea is wonderful. Smooth entrance, sand. The room has good sound insulation. The tours provided by the travel agency are an order of magnitude lower than what is presented in the promotional booklets. There is enough food, but it is not always delicious. There is no variety of fruits (oranges, dates, unripe melons, pomegranates, sometimes persimmons). In A la carte restaurants, the menu is practically no different from the hotel restaurant. Everything would be fine, but with a heavy workload in the "restaurant", the waiters periodically pour wine into USED glasses. The rest is ruined.

Cheese 2 types, sausage 2 types. Well done, of course, they didn't leave me hungry. I really liked the hotel, the room had everything you need, a kettle, tea, coffee, sugar. Water was brought 2 bottles a day for 0.5, if a little of this water could be poured in a restaurant or on the beach with good water, because you can't even brush your teeth from the tap. The staff is responsive, smiling, I liked the food, fish, meat, chicken, there was a lot of everything, sweets, pastries. And the most important thing is the sea, gorgeous, to see the fish and corals, it is necessary to sail away. I was only upset that the taxi driver took us to the wrong fruit market, which we asked for, I haven't seen such dirt and devastation anywhere else, but nevertheless we wanted mango for $ 1 and we bought it. The most important thing is to have a good mood and a positive attitude on vacation. I recommend this hotel to both children and single people. There will be an opportunity to go to this hotel again.

We stayed at this hotel for 9 days, 10 nights. Good attitude of the staff.
The sea is excellent transparent, sandy beach, good sunset. There were not enough deck chairs. There is a small reef. They don't give beer at the beach bar.
The food is monotonous, almost the same every day. I got an intestinal infection with my husband. After that, the food was carefully chosen. The food is spicy, salty. It ruined the rest. Many had poisoning. There were not enough seats in the hall. 2 visits to 2 restaurants are included.
There is no animation. There's nothing to do in the evening.There are not enough places.
Alcohol is not about anything, beer is like water, I did not like other alcohol. There is a paid bar.
The rooms are old, the furniture is old. Once there were ants crawling and once there was a lizard. There is no cleaning, only garbage and towels, that's all.Bed linen is not changed. There is an air conditioner.
It was inconvenient with the Internet, which was only at the reception, where there were a lot of people and no connection at all. There is no room, which is very inconvenient.The local SIM card (Internet) was enough for 2 days. It's a waste of money.
The water is terrible. Dirty water is flowing from the tap. To brush your teeth and bring bottled water for drinking 0.5 per person every day. But it is impossible to drink it.
I wouldn't have gone 2 times.

The friends we went with later also got poisoned on different days (there was no hospital, they started using Antinal in advance).
Going to meals in the last days of vacation was creepy. We ate only rice and what looked safe))

Cleaning and changing of towels in the room every day. Linen is changed every two days. Shower gel, shampoo and soap were replenished every day and water. The beds in the room are gorgeous. The air conditioner was working properly and quietly. The animation is good and there is entertainment in the evening. Food: I liked everything, you definitely won't be hungry. Beef meat, chicken, grilled, fish, vegetables, herbs, noodles, potatoes, mashed soups ...., porridges, omelets, eggs in various versions, yoghurts, jams, pastries and much more. There are very few fruits: melon is so-so, oranges, dates, grapefruit, there was a pomegranate a couple of times. There are coffee machines with very tasty coffee. Alcoholic drinks are cool, you can drink them. The territory is well maintained, beautiful, everything is green. Beach: sand, constantly cleaned, bins everywhere, you can smoke. The sunbeds are a little tired, sometimes there was a shortage. The entrance to the clean and transparent sea is ideal, but there are places for swimming (compared to other hotels) very little. There is a reef where you can watch the fish. And as it is very important to me, this is a polite staff. Thanks to the hotel and its staff for a good stay. There will be an opportunity, we will come to rest again!!!!!!!

The beach is nice.Bed linen and towels are changed. Of the disadvantages, this is an almost cold pool, although it is stated that it is heated. Warm only for children. Animators try their best, service dealers are very intrusive, they interfere with rest. The hotel as a whole left a good impression, if there is an opportunity to fly inexpensively, I recommend it.
