I really liked the hotel, clean pools, gorgeous sea, excellent sunset. the rooms are old, but clean, cleaning every day, thank you so much for that.
The food is monotonous, but delicious.
The only drawback is that there are no slides for children in the pool, it would be more interesting with them.
A relaxing holiday for 7-10 days is quite excellent, it will be boring for more.

I was with my daughter from 08/28/2023 to 09/06/2023. The hotel is clean, well maintained, the territory is neat. The layout is very "intimate". The staff is smiling, friendly, ready to assist in any matter. The food is varied, traditionally for Egypt: vegetables, fruits, meat, fish, sweets, yoghurts, pastries, cottage cheese, cheeses, etc.
I would especially like to mention a group of young animators: Abodi, Luca and Paula are mega positive and ultra friendly guys. Every vacationer, regardless of age, was approached and involved in activities (yoga, aqua aerobics, yoga, volleyball, trips to the disco in other hotels, etc.).
The SEA is a gentle sandy bay with the most comfortable approach. Great for both toddlers and adults. There were no sharks or other animals. 70-100 meters from the shore there is a reef where beautiful corals, moray eels, shar fish, cuttlefish and other marine life.
DO NOT AGREE - by train to the "island" with white sand and snorkeling (a piece of sandbank in fact) - of all the proposed islands, you can only go to Paradise Island (Paradise), where there is a beach, umbrellas from the sun. The rest - Orange and other declared islands - are just shoals where it is impossible to walk without slippers and there is nothing to do - a waste of time and money.
SHOPPING: It is best to take a taxi to the Senza Mall - a store with fixed prices, an analogue of shopping centers in large cities (food, clothing, restaurants, pharmacy, etc.). If you take a taxi at the hotel, it costs 4-5 dollars each way. If you download Uber for Nurgada, you can get there for 15O rubles.
Money - only local pounds in shopping malls, dollars and euros everywhere.
connection: Vodafone is an excellent connection - just buy without registration (do not give your passport), so that you do not mess around with disabling the SIM card later. You can buy a SIM card both at the airport upon arrival and at the hotel.
The FLY IN THE OINTMENT was that the room cleaning was at times sloppy, despite the regularly left tips.

We rested at the Mercure hotel with my mother in the first half of October 2024 for the second time. The previous one was two years ago. I would like to note that this hotel has not lowered the bar, but is only getting better every day. You want to come back here again and again, you feel "at home" here, and the staff becomes your family. Since 2022, the hotel staff has hardly changed, many have been promoted from the lowest level to managing departments, which for me personally is an indicator of the high quality of the hotel management. Now for those who have yet to experience happiness for the first time to relax in this place, about everything in order.
Any hotel, like a theater from a hanger, starts from the reception area, already from the entrance, the hotel guests are greeted by a beautiful interior and responsive staff who are ready to help at any moment. And even to find what was lost without hope of returning. My glasses, forgotten somewhere, were found on a call and delivered directly to the room. We arrived at the hotel at around 21:00 pm, we were very quickly settled, while being offered two accommodation options: in a spacious room with a new renovation overlooking the pool or in a room with a small area, an old renovation overlooking the sea. They immediately chose the first one, but the next day they changed to the second option, as they wanted more "movement". Well, the view overshadows all the disadvantages of the room itself. All rooms have delicious-smelling soap, gel, shampoo and body milk from a local manufacturer. Hair conditioner will also be brought to the cleaners on request. Also, upon check-in, there were dental, shaving kits, slippers and bathrobes in the room. The rooms have a kettle and tea set refilled. An iron and ironing board are available on request. A few words about cleaning in the building where we lived (building 11). We have never been pretentious about cleaning, we have been to many places and did not pay attention to many things. But here we could not fail to note the high quality of cleaning, the accuracy and attentiveness of our cleaner Mugeit and his manager Adel, who asked every day if everything was in order, if something was needed, and who promptly responded to any request, not to mention the fact that we always had a room swans, crocodiles, and hearts with flowers were waiting.
The territory of the hotel is beautiful and well-groomed, from early morning the gardeners sort through each blade of grass by HAND.
The hotel's beach is clean, garbage is cleaned several times a day, there are always enough sun beds, but when the occupancy rate of the hotel is high, you will have to look for a free one. The beach boys will always show you free umbrellas, help you move the sun beds into the shade, rearrange the fence from the wind, carefully shake the sand off the mattresses and lay a towel. In this regard, we would like to note the work of beach boy Osama and his colleague, whose name, unfortunately, was not recognized. I would like to express only one wish to the hotel administration: I believe that there are not enough employees to fully load such a large enough beach. Each of them tries to pay attention to the guests, but this is difficult, given the scale of the beach and the amount of work they do.
The swimming area is not very large, on the left side of it there is a zone for riding wind surf and other entertainment. There is a small reef on the right. The entrance to the sea is good, sandy with a small shell, depending on the time of day it is replaced by fine sand. A team of rescuers monitors safety from the shore, who react very quickly to dangerous situations near the reef and make sure that hotel guests do not swim further than the permitted area.
Now about the restaurant and food. The food is quite varied, several types of fish, chicken and meat, all the dishes are delicious and made with soul! Chefs Ahmed and Mahmoud monitor the order in the restaurant, the availability of dishes and the quality of work of the kitchen staff every meal. A separate love is the oriental breakfast table, sesame sauce and hummus and pies from chef Hamdi. Oriental day and seafood are held on Fridays and Saturdays, respectively, for my taste the best dinners these days. The selection of fruits is not very large, melon is tasteless, but grapefruits and dates are great.
The main manager Hamdi and his subordinate managers always keep order in the restaurant and work. The work of all the waiters is approximately the same, but I would like to mention especially Akhmet and his manager Mahmoud. In the morning, we were often served by Ibrahim, who never lost his smile. After their service, attentiveness and care, I did not want to fall into other hands.
The accommodation includes trips to a la carte restaurants: Italian and oriental. Based on the experience of the last trip, we did not go to Italian, we visited only the second one, as we were sure that it would be delicious. The restaurant itself is very atmospheric, with live music playing during dinner, which adds flavor. The dishes are the same as served on oriental day with differences in serving. I would suggest that the hotel administration finalize the concept of an Italian restaurant, since all the guests as one remain dissatisfied with visiting this particular a la carte option.
We rested on the "Ultra all inclusive" system, as we did two years ago. We already consider bartenders Serak, Karim and their managers Shahin and Hassan to be relatives. These people not only do their job professionally, but also know how to support any conversation, ask about their well-being, have time to joke with you, sing a song and dance to lift the mood. In the "ultra" bar you can always order delicious Turkish coffee, mint tea, fresh fruit and premium Egyptian alcohol. Everything ordered on request is brought to a table in the lobby or on the street. Cola is also served in cans here, and you can have a snack with figs, grapes or sweets. Unfortunately, the advantages of this power supply system end there, I would like it to also become more refined and attractive to customers. I would suggest making this particular bar work around the clock, as well as adding cheese-type snacks to the menu, and sparkling wine in terms of alcohol.
I can't help but mention the work of other bars, we looked into the Azur bar for dark rum, where I was well served by the bartender Mohammed, who looked formidable, but in fact turned out to be a pleasant man with humor. The bartenders at the pool bar always served with a smile. At the beach bar, a Medhat served us, made delicious cocktails and always found mint tea for me.
Alcohol in Egypt is generally not the best. But it's not bad at the hotel. The beer and wine are good. Of the spirits, we liked the tequila from the "Ultra" bar, the rum and gin were also good. Of the soft drinks, I was pleased with the presence of cold carcade in bars and restaurants, some juices are also nothing, not much diluted, as in many other hotels.
A few words about animation. In this hotel, she is unobtrusive, there is something to do in the middle of the day, the music selections are good, for my taste. In the evenings, they arrange shows, often with invited groups, almost every day different and quite worthy. I didn't attend many activities, but in terms of communication and work, I liked the animators Rosa, Anjo, Bibo, it was a pleasure to deal with them. A beach disco takes place once a week, it is free for hotel guests, and every day you can visit clubs with an animation team for an additional fee.
The hotel takes the issue of security seriously. Security guards tirelessly patrol the territory, all incoming cars are carefully inspected. Security at the reception is checking the luggage. Even if you leave the hotel with a friend for a walk, the number of his car will be recorded at the reception.
The hotel supports the eco-concept, plastic cups are not used in bars.
In the evenings, a woman plays the piano in the lobby several times a week, two years ago it was the same, there are many gorgeous compositions in her repertoire. Also, sometimes in the evening before the pool show, the guitar and a national instrument, somewhat reminiscent of the domra, are played by the pool.
Among the wishes for improvement in the future, I would like to include ill-conceived wardrobes in rooms in which it is impossible to hang a dress below the knee or trousers without folding them in half or into an accordion, and the doors of which can easily pinch your fingers, which happened more than once. Our room on the ground floor sometimes had a very strong sewer smell, not critical, but especially strong in the evenings. I also want to draw attention to the taps for washing feet on the beach, I think that from the side where there is just more traffic, one tap is not enough. In the evening, a large queue accumulates. Well, the last "growth point" of the hotel is a dry ration. It is only for baking lovers. They took it only because of the juice and fruit.
All these nuances do not affect the assessment of the hotel in any way, but are only wishes for the growth and prosperity of the hotel.

The attitude of the hotel staff and the food in the main restaurant is 5+, the wine in the restaurant is bottled, normal. Drinks are local, no frills. Everything is simple. Not a big hotel by Egyptian standards. Located separately from other hotels, between vacant lots. There is simply no place to go out and walk in the evening. Food- you can't wake up hungry, but I was constantly tormented by heartburn, and not only for me, everything is fried or grilled. The animation is not intrusive, in the evenings there is a little live music or a 30-minute performance. The room was cleaned every day, there are no hygiene kits. The furniture is tired, but not broken. November is still very windy. It is cold in the morning and evening from the strong wind. The sea is not the same for long-term bathing. It's hot during the day if you're lying on a sunbed and covered with a screen from the wind, and so a very strong and cold wind.

I was at this hotel in 2013 and in 2024 (November).The hotel has lost its position in 10 years.The hotel is online, the service is at the proper level. 70% are foreigners. The room was cleaned every day (fold towels, make the bed, wipe the floor). You won't be hungry, there will be a lot of meat, but the food is very monotonous, by the 10th day nothing just fit anymore. Which pleased me... In my opinion, the food is good, there are always different hot meats (more often beef in some form, sometimes chicken and fish), but this is like the main course of dinner. Of course, there is always just chicken, just beef, and fish, cutlets. Side dishes for every taste. Even a healthy food corner (something boiled). Fruits: melon, mangoes, oranges, grapefruits, bananas, dates and so on for a few days. Ice cream was served for lunch and dinner (4/5). Snacks pizza, burgers, fries on the beach. Cocktails are not bad, but there are several main types, they do not pour greedily.
Animation is lame. In the afternoon, they call for some games. In the evening, the show is for 45 minutes, then sooo people are invited to a disco in the city, of course a plateau, and of course they get their percentage for it. There is a club in the hotel itself, but when I went there I was alone, the animators warned about it, but they themselves did not want us to go there.
If you need a relaxing stay, the hotel is for you, there were no children in September, it was very comfortable. In general, I recommend it.

One star, just because there are too many little things that did not overshadow the rest in general, but looking back I realize that I will not come here anymore

- We moved into a room where people already lived.In the end, of course, the problem was solved, but I had to run
- They constantly knocked (persistently) early in the morning, although there was always a do not disturb sign.
- The key was breaking.
- The canditer lived his life no matter how many degrees it costs. Only the flow rate can be adjusted, but even at the smallest it hums like an airplane taking off.
- The room was frankly dirty initially and later it was poorly cleaned, we asked for it 2 times during the whole vacation and it was very so-so (tea 5 bucks). For the first time , the towels were simply shaken and hung back 😁 someone else 's hair in the corners as it lay and still lies probably
- At the end, the toilet broke, the drain button.
- There is no mini bar
- No slippers, no bathrobe
- There are no toothbrushes and pastes, cotton pads, or chopsticks. Got nothing. Only shampoo, shower gel and liquid hand soap, the smell is the same, I suspect that it was all the same.
- The room is tired, the switches live their own lives. The nature and origin of some were never found out.
- A smoke detector that weighs right above the bed, I do not know how it did it, but it woke me up at night with its flickering.
- One of the advantages is a comfortable large bed, but a meter-by-meter blanket tucked into a 220-by-220 duvet cover raises questions.

As for the food, it's not immediately clear after what you got carried away. But by trial and error, I can tell you that it is generally safe. These are rice, potatoes (whole, not mashed), meat with gravy, cucumber, tomatoes. Everything else has a lot of questions, fish that doesn't smell very good, and especially pasta that is cooked separately. First there was a queue for pasta, then no one went after them, they were brand new
- Sparrows jump on the plates on the street and in the first halls, no one cares, I never left the plates unattended.
- The food is the same (!!!!!), the same thing every day. I thought I could eat rice every day. We didn't come here to eat. After 12 days, I conclude that I no longer like rice. And trying something new, I immediately ran to the toilet. So basically I had a 12-day rice detox sometimes with an unplanned drastic cleansing.
- It was not clear why the queue was infuriating. You come back later and there's no one. But at one and 7 o'clock, there were even heated arguments about this queue. Then we went an hour later and did not find this obscurantism anymore
- Juices from the vending machine, ice cream (!!!) I strongly do not recommend it. Especially the ping pong machine by the pool. We dialed juice into the room, it fermented right in the glass in a few hours.
- Italian ala maps. I had hoped that it would be a "breath of fresh air", but the Germans had a mountain feast, and we chewed bruschetta the size of a coin and the same rice, but like risotto. I didn't understand at all who needed to say what, who to give money to, so that I would also have a feast.
- In general, I did not understand who needed to be given money so that my vacation would not be forgotten, because no one ever came up to me and offered me anything. Well, except for the annoying barkers on the beach.
Service:
- There is no Wi-Fi in the entire territory
- There is no service here. Or I didn't have it) I'm not going to speculate on how long this hotel takes to check in. I have already given my assessment to the review. There is one name from Mercury, which we fell for.
- When checking into other hotels, I was at the reception, 2 times during the entire holiday period. I'm lying, 3. 1 on the day of arrival, 2 meeting with the guide, 3 day of departure. I immediately had to go to the reception almost every day
- A bottle of 0.5 water per day per person (this is very little) was not left for a couple of days.
- In the evening we signed up for breakfast (one name) for a trip on an excursion, it turns out we were not recorded.
- We signed up for Alaska, it turns out they didn't sign us up
- Obsessive animators, photographers and whoever else. They come up every day. And separately, I want to note the mutual hatred and contempt for a guy named Vi, (Vitek that 😁) an infuriating character. He talks some nonsense about the New Year and reacts boldly if you don't want to play volleyball or go to animation in the evening. If he's under something, then I have no complaints about him.
- The guy at the bar by the sea is also very nasty, treated me and my husband with contempt, vividly expressing his discontent and neglect, and I still choose the words. He apparently enrolled us in a number of zealous alcoholics and that we would drink the whole bar to him, but at the same time the grannies who drank gin and tonic did not cause him any questions and he immediately did a whole lot at a time pouring a bottle. In principle, he served first all those who came after us and only then us. Sometimes when we were alone, he specifically waited for someone to come up to serve them first and then only us. I didn't understand the joke at all, the desire to approach disappeared.
- During the whole vacation, no one has ever come up and offered drinks during meals. Although the Germans at the next table were licked to the fullest and the tables were set and waited for and invited and led by the arms, They also constantly had wine, beer and cocktails in any quantity. I don't need all this, but I wasn't offered it either.
Well, not related to the hotel.
- The guide was kind and helpful until they said that we would not take excursions, after that he got very angry and started being rude. I didn't want to start a speech on arrival without my husband. But as it turned out, he thought that my husband would pay for our excursions.
- Many people wrote that this is a budget hotel, some have a wow budget. I don't think it's budget-friendly. But we wanted to go to another premium hotel, but it was in stock for our vacation dates. And I had to come here.
- And of course the sea is just beautiful! Clean, beautiful! But the sea is not the merit of the hotel)
The tour operator promises both reefs and sand at this hotel. Both are bullshit. Sand is a crushed prickly shell without shoes anyway, and the reef is a small piece of 3x2 in size, but it's okay to swim once and watch the fish.
Overall, my stay was wonderful, it would have been even better if not for all the jokes during my stay at this hotel.

The guy at the reception, Hisham, is just great. In the Azur bar and in the pool bar, the bartenders are just brilliant. Sorry, I don't remember the name. In the children's club, animator Alyona is just a smart girl, she occupied the children 100%. Meals for 5. Drinks, juice, everything is delicious. Thank you for a great vacation. Animators Rai and it seems Alexey will always help and prompt. In short, all well done. We always rest in Egypt in different hotels, but this time they will return more than once. There is plenty of entertainment for every taste. Foam party, holly paints, ping pong, tennis, football, volleyball, Bocce. Despite the late check-out, we had no problems going to lunch without payment, also thanks for the late dinner, when we checked in at night, we were fed to the brim.

Low-rise buildings with interesting architecture form courtyards, outside they are hugged by paths and lawns. We lived in room 1411, overlooking the garden. The room has good-quality furniture and plumbing. Of the little things, I didn't have enough for a shoe spoon, a place to dry a swimsuit on the balcony and at least three more hangers in the closet. If necessary, they will bring bathrobes and slippers. The beach is beautiful, the entrance to the sea is gentle and sandy. The main pool is heated, there are no pools between the buildings, but WiFi is available near them. The food is delicious and varied. Beef, chicken, fish. The hotel is fashionable to recommend calm for a beach holiday. A very nice private beach with sun beds and umbrellas. And there are small coral reefs in the buoy area, snorkeling is mandatory (😃). The room is small, the furniture is visually old (if that's important). The view from the balcony is very beautiful (sea view), it's nice to drink coffee in the morning. The food is not bad, there is a selection of vegetables, salads, snacks, hot dishes. There are several areas with pools. The nearest shopping center is 10-15 minutes by taxi (used Uber, works without problems, cash payment). Hurghada is 20-25 minutes away by taxi. Locals said that this hotel has one of the best beach areas. I can safely recommend the hotel for a relaxing beach holiday.

We stayed at this hotel in April 2024. I had a vacation with a child for 2 years, so we looked at a small area, not far from the airport, and a smooth entry into the sea.

Thanks to our guide, Muhammad, who was in touch and helped resolve the issue.
There were no frills in the diet, but there was always something to eat. I will not say about strong alcohol, we do not use it. We tried the wine several times, as it tastes everywhere. Especially for breakfast there were very tasty pastries, croissants, puff pastry. We can't say anything about animation, because we went to bed early and got up early too.At 5 a.m., the birds are singing and the sun rises over the sea, very beautiful.

We had a rest in early October, 9 nights.
The hotel is located close to the airport, dropped off first. Well-maintained territory with no height difference, 2 guests in wheelchairs were seen. The entrance to the sea is excellent, sandy, great for children. There are 3 small reef hummocks in the buoy area. There are 2 lionfish living on the largest one (it is better not to swim near this place without a mask). I managed to see a turtle once, but it was behind the buoys. One part of the beach is really closed for active water sports. There were a lot of people and it was sometimes cramped at the entrance to the water. There are a lot of sun beds, but sometimes there were no free ones and you had to wait. Alternatively, come before 9:00 or at lunchtime.
The food is standard, we have never been hungry. Chicken, fish, beef, weekend shrimp, squid. Fresh vegetables, salads, side dishes, sweets, ice cream, fruits (which unfortunately did not cause delight) Juices, tea, coffee, sodas and water are always available. But I do not share the reviews where they write about poor nutrition. I wonder what you eat at home? Italian and Oriental restaurants do not differ in food from the main one. It makes sense to go so as not to feel like in the dining room. There were no poisoning, but I recommend drinking outside the main restaurant only from disposable cups. The restaurants are clean.
We checked in at exactly 14:00. The rooms are a little tired, the cleaning is hardly ideal, but we had more than enough. We checked into a room with a door to an adjacent room. The audibility is such that every word is heard in a calm tone. Fortunately, our neighbors left early and came late.
There is a taxi service at the reception with a loyal price. The pools are clean and cool. There are always enough sun beds nearby. The animation is not intrusive and decent. Everything is on schedule. There are various shows in the amphitheater in the evenings. There are a lot of foreigners, you will not feel like at our resorts. I recommend taking a horse ride (they offer to walk along the beach) very clean, not smelly horses, well-fed, calm. Having no experience, we rode at once at a gallop. You can exchange large dollars for small ones at the porters. There is nothing nearby, you need to go to the shopping center or to the city itself. We had a family vacation at the end of October 2022. Impressions for 5+!!! A stunning beach with a lagoon and its own reefs, the inhabitants of which are easy to see through a mask, even for a child. There are always enough sun beds for everyone on the beach!
