My favorite airport, like Singapore itself, is clean, beautiful, and the business halls are excellent with good food. Stunning installations, waterfalls, especially before the New Year, like you get into a fairy tale, and even without it, there are terraces with sunflowers and a swimming pool, gardens and fountains in each terminal, orchids everywhere, in general, it's worth taking the time. A separate topic is the Jewel Gallery, built in 2019, which can be accessed from any terminal, it has shops almost in a park with waterfalls and trains, an incredible structure, be sure to visit, this is already a new attraction of the city. In general, I have one delight from Singapore. 🤩
I liked it. Although there are some peculiarities. You can get there by metro on the green line, very convenient. Passport control is biometric, and an electronic form was filled out 3 days before arrival. Upon arrival, the border guard immediately asked to show tickets to a third country and a hotel reservation. Everything is OK.
You can no longer attach your passport when you leave, you can safely pass through biometrics if there are no fines.
Duty free is big, there are a lot of things.
The food court is on the second level (we were in Terminal 3), everything is very convenient.
There is an inspection before boarding. This is usually not the case here, before passport control. First, check-in for the flight, then passport control, departure area, and pre-boarding screening.
This is the best airport I've ever been to. Polite people who always orient you or take pictures. Soft, clean carpets all over the airport, instead of benches at the airport, there are soft orthopedic chairs, I did not want to fly out of this airport. Excellent Dutch fries. Oh, yes, I almost forgot - when I arrived at the airport, my suitcase was greeted like a VIP, there was a separate person with a pillow who was catching the suitcase, can you imagine? He was almost hugged and kissed at Singapore airport , of course, there is an excellent waterfall in an artificial park and there is an exit to the subway , but I ordered a taxi.
A modern, very well-equipped airport. All procedures: passport control, baggage claim, customs - are quick and humane. Despite the gigantic size of the airport, it is easy to navigate. The lack of baggage packing services at night spoiled the impression.
It's a very cool and technologically advanced airport. In a way, it is an attraction and a symbol of Singapore. Passport control is automated - before entry, an arrival card is electronically filled in, then the passport is scanned at the turnstile and biometrics is submitted. There is one airport employee with a tablet at a dozen turnstiles. Someone selectively asks to show return tickets. No harsh border guards or passport stamps, everything is very friendly. You don't even need to scan your passport to leave the country, the system recognizes you by the image and lets you through.
Check-in for flights and baggage check-in are also mostly automated, although there are several counters with live staff for those who wish.
Airport navigation is quite clear, and you can ask any employee, since everyone speaks English in Singapore.
As for the internal contents of the terminals, there are a lot of interesting things here. The free content includes the coolest installations, a waterfall, a butterfly garden, playgrounds, a concert venue, and a cinema. For money, there is a spa, a swimming pool and a cool duty-free.
There are many business halls and they vary from very decent to mediocre.
Changi Airport is Singapore's front gate, which in many ways shapes the opinion of the country. Even people who fly in transit and don't go out into the city get the best impressions. Although, of course, it's worth going out.
I'm thrilled. If you are flying in transit, take more hours, especially if arrival and departure from different terminals. We had 4 hours, which is not enough. It's very beautiful there, and there are 5 huge terminals to see. You can travel from one to the other on free buses. The staff were helpful, and when they saw that we had misunderstood without English, a girl caught up with us and escorted us to passport control. I recommend visiting Jewel. This is a new terminal with a 40-meter waterfall. Evening time is better. The waterfall is glowing. We caught the moment when it was turned off and clouds of fog were rising into the sky. Very beautiful. A separate review about the smoking areas, when you arrive, the place is on the street, everything is clean, the benches are neat, it's like in a park, beautiful trees. In the departure area, smoking areas are marked with special signs. They're behind the automatic doors, and a palm scan is being performed to enter. And also to get out. Decorated in white, gorgeous hoods, no smoke or tobacco smell. And comfortable sofas.
It is incredible – in terms of steepness, the highest technology and functionality, scale and convenience, beauty and design, filling and decoration of spaces. Our tour began with an excursion through the well-groomed territory of the unique airport, the perimeter of which includes a tall artificial waterfall (we were specially waiting for the inclusion of this miracle fountain upon arrival), and a picturesque rainforest (Forest valley), through which we gladly walked, leaving our luggage under the supervision of a guide, and butterfly and orchid gardens on the Canopy bridge, and the Jewel shopping center, and the monorail, and a lot of entertainment. Flowers and installations are everywhere. It's probably not easy for a beginner to figure out the local multi-level navigation in 4 terminals. But we were met by an experienced guide, and there were no problems "how to get to and out of here faster". We just relaxed, still not fully recovering from the long flight, and got tremendous pleasure from what we saw and heard about / in the amazing Changi. You can easily and immediately believe that the futuristic Singapore Changi Airport is considered the best in the world. What we personally saw in the fall of 2023
Perhaps the best airport in the world! Convenient, beautiful, comfortable and clean! Definitely a business class airport! Passport control is automatic, without queues. The employees are friendly, they look at you not at all as "whistleblowers", but as if "how can I help"!
A cozy and peaceful airport. It's quite pleasant to spend a comfortable time waiting. My departure terminal is covered in carpets. In other departure terminals, they say even better). Nothing special on arrival.
The airport has exceeded all expectations!!! It's very comfortable, everything is thought out, everything is for people!
By train from the first terminal to the second, there is a great view of the waterfall
It's just wonderfully wonderful, super. I've never seen anything like it in my life. Everything is made for people. No queues, everything is simple when passing through the airport. The robot looked you in the eye and you passed through passport control. The beauty is indescribable, the greenery is alive and the birds are singing, And the coolest attraction is a waterfall or fountain, I don't know what to call it- fantastic
Один из лучших аэропортов мира, Уезжать из него совсем не хотелось, гуляли по нему еще три часа после прилета, Хот елось рассмотреть все, водопад, растения, архитектурные решения просто не укладывались в голове. Восхищению не было предела!
It is gigantic, modern, very well maintained, with a lot of greenery, various installations (stuck to the kenetic rain), waterfalls, a shopping center. The floors throughout the airport are carpeted. Automated registration, passport control and inspection without queues and waits. Just Wow! In my opinion, this is the best attraction in Singapore.
One of the best airports in the world, very functional and convenient - and at the same time stunningly beautiful! Everything is thought out and perfectly organized! Despite the huge area, unexpectedly little time is spent moving between terminals and all procedures.
In my opinion, the giant airport itself is one of the most interesting attractions in Singapore!
A stunning botanical garden, a huge waterfall, a spa, a cinema, a giant shopping mall - not all that is there. In general, I highly recommend you to visit!
Changi Airport will be greeted with gigantic dimensions.Futuristic statues, a grove with huge trees right in the arrival hall, fashionable vertical landscaping of the walls.A train picks up from the plane and goes straight to the automatic "border guards".No booths, just automatic control and a few polite employees who are ready to help in case of difficulties.Luggage almost immediately.Wifi itself "asks" for the phone, I remembered)).And exit to the taxi stand.Everything is fast, immediate, and flawless.
This is a super airport! Beauty, gorgeous flowers, trees, waterfall everywhere. There are a lot of good boutiques. Super business lounge, we spent three hours there before the plane, the food is just gorgeous, the atmosphere is like in a hotel.
The airport amazed me! There was an overnight transfer, but it was very comfortable! Cozy areas! Comfortable upholstered chairs with phone chargers. Cafes and restaurants are open at night. I spent only 3 hours there and was satisfied! I'll be back to see Singapore myself. ☺️
Super modern airport. Baggage check-in and check-in are self-service at special vending machines. The whole airport is covered in expensive rich carpets, I have never seen this anywhere.
I really like it. Not a big fitness club, good gym equipment, good group workouts. There is a hall for combat sports. The pool is not large, if I'm not mistaken, 7×25m. I haven't swum in the pool, I can't say anything. A convenient application for signing up for group workouts and coaches
An advanced, beautiful airport. Everything is electronic, and the registration was completed in 3-4 minutes. I didn't see the queue. A 40-meter fountain!!!
No matter how many words I write, it won't be enough. The airport has been holding a leading position in the world ranking for more than one year. I do not know how many days it will take to completely bypass it. And it's really worth it!
Everything is written, of course it is the best airport in the world. It is worth coming here in advance to see everything that is here. It's strange, of course, to write such a thing about the airport)
It's really the best airport in the world. I've kind of seen it somewhere in my life, but here I'm just blown away. Set aside 2 hours in addition to departure, etc. to take a walk and have fun in it.
I was very impressed, clean, beautiful, everywhere there are living greenery, birds, fish, the largest closed artificial waterfall. I was surprised by the delicious and not expensive food.
5* beautiful airport, probably the best in the world. Everything is carpeted, with cozy waiting areas. Toilets are like in a 5* hotel with a bidet, shower, boudoir. There is a USB cable for charging everywhere, everything is for people. It was a pleasure to be in it. One disadvantage is that the food in the cafe is tasteless (( one fast food and the photo in the picture does not match what is served on the plate and it is terrible how tasteless. They even made a refund for the terrible dinner. They threw it in the trash.
A large airport. 4 departure terminals. The ticket does not always make it clear where the departure will be from. You must arrive in advance. My hand luggage was weighed with a carry-on bag. We counted an advantage of 2 kg. I had to pay 76 Singapore dollars. But the Thai airport did not pay attention to this. Unpleasant.
The best airport in the world. It is an attraction in itself, you can wander and wonder for hours. If you have time, come in advance, very much in advance - it's very, very impressive. A huge number of food courts, places to charge phones, the most comfortable benches and places to sleep.
It is not for nothing that it is considered the best airport in the world, you can walk and admire the face of the country without ceasing, you really want to return to wonderful and amazing Singapore
Being here waiting for the plane, you don't feel tired. There are many beautiful cozy places at the airport for active and passive recreation of children and adults. And if you are at this airport for the first time, then you can just take a tour of all the terminals, you will not regret it.
The coolest airport in the world! Carpet, comfortable chairs, drinking water, huge, modern. There are many of the most exotic people from all corners of the globe :)
I want to return to this airport. This is the best and most beautiful airport in the world. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail, you definitely won't be bored. It has a famous forest alley with the highest waterfall in the room, a butterfly park, kinetic rain, gym, spa, cinema, large food court and many different shops. You can move between terminals on foot or by skytrain. Everything is accessible and understandable. The waiting rooms are clean with comfortable chairs.
It is the most beautiful and most commercial airport in the world. It is very clean, there is a shopping center inside the airport, there is a convenient early baggage drop service so that you can shop light.
It's a terrible airport. The carpets are very old everywhere. Only a small part of the staff speaks good English. Until you find something, you'll go crazy. Navigation and signage are at a poor level. Places to recharge your phone for the entire airport of Edenica. The migration service and information desks and staff give very different answers and different information, confusing passengers. There is zero knowledge. The fountain is like a fountain. The green area around the fountain is beautifully made. That's all I'm giving you 1 point for. Where so many enthusiastic points come from is unclear. Apparently, people have not seen good comfortable airports. Well, one of the advantages is good Internet in all terminals.
A beautiful airport. It's not complicated, but it's big. It's interesting to walk inside. You can eat in cafes on the 1st floor, it's not expensive, there are different Asian soups, a very hearty portion.
Everything is beautiful, but often something doesn't work.
And when departing Singapore-Phuket, the seats on the plane were changed. Initially, the check-in desk was given seats on the 8th row, then at the entrance to the plane they crossed out with a pen and wrote the 37th row without explaining anything.
Well... it's awesome. The transfer was 10 o'clock and all this time we could find something to do. There is a free tour to Singapore for those who have a transfer of more than 5-6 hours. Well, I'm not talking about the waterfall, cactus gardens and butterflies at all. Also in all terminals there are chairs a la sun beds, you can take a nap
There is a lot of noise around the airport. This Jewel terminal is only open from 11 o'clock. At night, it turns into a homeless shelter. There are Zara-type shops and cafes around. Nothing works at night, not even the lounge areas. And it's so Beautiful, of course.
I've never seen anything better!!!
And fountains, and kinetic rain, and a free butterfly garden, a cinema center! Wow! If the flight is delayed, you will definitely find something to do
I really like to travel and I have memories of many airports in my memory...
Boulevard is special.
Maybe because the "Airport Orchid Garden" became the catalyst for my impressions, in which I completely "dissolved" for a while, or maybe the atmosphere of modern Asia added something...
Anyway, I really liked the airport!!!
The miracle airport! There is no feeling that you are at the airport. There is carpet everywhere, so sounds are welcome, there is no airport hum. It is very cozy, there are live plants, flowers, cozy recreation areas everywhere. Calmly, like at home. You can live there ;)))
