Baikonur has been given some of the best years of its life. Service, work, life. Everything was interesting. A huge facility with unique structures and history. Now, unfortunately, there is no more go. What to see? Excursion - they will show the museum, the house of Korolev and Gagarin, take them to the start, show the launch (they will take a lot of money, though, capitalism). Someone will like it, someone will not get into it. It's stupid to advise.

I am very glad that I was able to visit the cosmodrome. The area is very significant for my homeland, the closed city of Baikonur. It is very interesting in Baikonur, it seems that you go through time and get into the past in the Soviet Union. All apartments are owner-less, all houses are state-owned. The land under the city of Baikonur is only leased by the Russian Federation, and therefore houses and apartments are not transferred to ownership. A quiet, peaceful city. very good-natured, hospitable people live in Baikonur. However, the climatic conditions in this city are very harsh, in summer it is very hot, the temperature reaches up to 60 * and in winter it is cold.

The water pressure is bad. The device has to be connected almost tightly to the car. The chemistry seems to be diluted too and doesn't really work. I've been there several times, but I couldn't wash the car properly, and there were constant flushes on all sides. An average car, class "D", can be washed for 550-650 rubles, and then you are constantly engaged in wiping unwashed places.

I was not lucky enough to visit the cosmodrome itself, we drove past and this grandiose structure can be seen from the road. But even if you are not going to get on an excursion to the cosmodrome itself, but you are passing in the Baikonur area, then I advise you to spend a few minutes and turn off the highway towards checkpoint 7 and visit the Proton-M exposition (you can type in a search engine) with stands and models of rockets and satellites.

The warmest memories are of my favorite city, the city of Leninsk. My childhood and school years were spent here, and from here I went to study in another city. I always remember our city, the city of squares, flowers, cleanliness and order. And tulips, what kind of tulips are there, there are no such anywhere else! I remember how dad brought mom these tulips and the smell was all over the apartment! For me, this is the best place on earth. And it's the best because my childhood was spent here in Leninsk. When my parents and I moved to Moscow back in 1984, I didn't want to put up with it for a very long time, I was very bored, I threw tantrums at my parents. I cherish the idea that one day my family and I will get in a car and go to visit Baikonur, because the distance from Moscow is only 2,600 km. Unfortunately, our house on Ostasheva Street is no longer residential. I really hope that remembering the great history of this city, the powers that be will not let it completely fall apart. After all, this is the pride of our country. The memory of how a path once trodden into space, now thanks to this cosmodrome, has turned into a high-speed highway!
