A wonderful ski resort, there are no other words. We built a new cable car, new routes. However, when we were there, we weren't very lucky with the weather, but the weather was great last time.

The condition of the trails and prices are much inferior to any resort in the Caucasus. There are guns, but they are not used. As a result, there are bald spots on most trails.

Quiet skiing for the family, the slides are wide and comfortable. The tracks are mostly blue and some are green. For fans of extreme Black and red trails, I don't think you'll like it very much. There are restaurants below and on the mountain, the prices are not cheap as everywhere in the mountains. Snow is poorly cleaned near houses, because of this, everyone walks on the roads. There is a store downstairs, the assortment is small, but you can save money. I liked it, I'll go again.

There are too many people on weekends, there are queues for lifts. Prices in shops and restaurants are no longer Georgian, but comparable to European ones. A big disadvantage is the currency exchange. He is immorally predatory.

I didn't like it. Half of the routes that are drawn on the map don't exist at all. The lifts start at 10:00. In normal resorts, they open the gurney at 8. There was enough snow, but no one bothered to prepare the track. Cars are almost on top of each other. The infrastructure is not thought out at all. In short, I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

A review from a family of skiers/snowboarders with skiing experience in Europe, Arkhyz, Sheregesh. A resort with no developed infrastructure at all. The tracks are not marked at all. No fences, no signs. When the weather is sunny, you can take in all the tracks with your eyes-you won't get lost, there aren't many of them at all. But if it's snowing or foggy, that's it, it's unclear where to go. There are groups of people standing here and there wondering where to go. You say, "Yes, just go down." And that's what we did: we flew into a puddle, and there were rocks under it. There is only fast food on the mountain at a fantastic price: shawarma with chicken is 35 lari, which is 12 euros, and with beef - 50 lari, which is 18 euros somewhere. There are no cafe huts to go inside. No, I'm lying: there are 2 tables for 5-6, the rest is outside. There's nowhere to keep warm. Toilets : There are only 2 on the mountain. One is just a hole in the ground on the Firni descent, and the other is a cabin (it would be better not to go there). And most importantly! They won't waste the tracks!!! We came specially to the first podium, we were the first to get out of the booth, and no one was leveling the tracks since the evening.... There is not much snow on the tracks, if there were snow cannons and snow trucks would work as expected, everything would be different.
Rentals are normal. European equipment from previous seasons from rental.

The mountains are great trails too (when there is snow). But the service (there is no information about anything that is open, that is not) and the riding culture (there are a lot of fast-driving incompetents, where beginners and children ride) are very low. The rental is generally of poor quality. Food and Georgia as a whole are not compatible (khachapuri and khinkali). There is nowhere to eat meat normally, as well as fish (be prepared to eat bread and dough derivatives, walnuts and boiled varieties of meat and poultry). You can put a confident 5 for the views and trails and there is a lot to grow.

As infrastructure - 2, in terms of getting from the hotel to the slope, there are no sidewalks, no footpaths, no minibuses, no parking facilities - from the far side, you need to walk along the highway with trucks along a dirty road with the option of being sprayed or knocked down.

I put a solid 5 for nature, views and beauty!I'm a skier, I liked all the trails.This is what drowned out the negative aspects.In 10 days there were only two days when there were queues, one lift broke down once, there was a long queue.I liked the infrastructure most of all in new Gudauri, there is a shop and various cafes.But the service in the establishments wants to leave the best, a biased attitude, zero friendliness.Only in one restaurant out of several, we were received cordially and affably.I didn't like mulled wine anywhere at all.Apreski can be said not at all.

There is a FIRE... The temperature during skating is very comfortable. The view is incredibly beautiful. The lifts are poorly loaded, although there are a lot of people, from 4 to 8 places, and a large number of lifts make skiing extremely comfortable, you can roll away... I had a rest here in January, my impressions are positive. Good infrastructure, no queues for lifts. I really liked the hotel where I stayed - Gudarui Lodge. Rental, skipass, everything can be taken on site. When you leave the hotel, you immediately get on the highway. Friendly staff, good cuisine.

The resort is new, the wheelchair is not bad, the lifts are good. But the service is very mediocre, and the hardware turned out to be as uncomfortable as possible. An icy floor, a broken shower, an impolite receptionist. There's only one road to Tbilisi, and if it gets blocked, you can't get there. Prices are 20-30% lower than in Moscow. I liked Sheregesh better.

It's a great wheelchair. Beautiful view of the mountains. Wide trails, of which there are many. From simple to very cool. If you go with a company, then everyone needs to have a connection. You can get lost on the slope. Accommodation can be rented right next to the lift.

Positive:
1. There is really a lot of plumpness for boarders
2. Decently cheaper than Sochi: accommodation (if you choose wisely) and ski passes
3. The lifts are good
4. There are a lot fewer people compared to Sochi
5. We found a hotel 15 minutes walk from the mountain, but with a transfer, a room with breakfast and dinner for three - 10k per day. Delicious, good, but there is no TV in the room and it can be cool
6. They say that there are no avalanches here)
7. Cheap SIM cards, 1000 rubles - unlimited for a week, there are limit options much cheaper
Minuses:
1. There is a certain hidden dislike for our people, it is exactly what you feel and certainly not with everyone.
2. There are a lot of flat areas for boarders and there is a reverse slope, sometimes you will have to unfasten
3. The tracks are very similar, rather they are all blue with occasionally red sections. Rather, it is rather one wide slope, in which they decided to make tracks somewhere, the rest is skiing next to the tpass
4. You may not arrive or leave the airport, as the road is closed during heavy snowfalls. And either wait a day or two in Vladik or you can not fly back. That's exactly what happened to us (
5. Prices in stores are noticeably higher than Moscow time
6. Well, there is absolutely nothing to do in Gudauri at all. If there is bad weather, then boredom is mortal, except to drive to Tbilisi (5k in 1 direction in 2.5 hours)
7. Even just walking is dangerous - there are no sidewalks, and packs of trucks are driving along the road
8. Crossing the border is a lottery, we passed both in an hour, and they say that at peak times you can stand for the whole day
9. The coolest spa for 50 bucks in Marco Polo is a complete fiasco, a 12m basik and one sauna and it's very cold, in the marriott in Krasnaya Polyana for the same money - an unrealistically cool complex
10. Since the resort is high, there may be problems with the respiratory tract or heart.
11. In two days you roll off all the tracks and on the third it's already boring)
