One of my favorite places, quite quiet and beautiful views. At the same time, it's close enough to the center, you can just get there. A minibus often runs from the Taugul-3 area to the Kargalinka dam itself and from there you can climb on foot to the ridge along which you can already climb Volchaya. There is another route from the Sunuar Falcon Reserve, but I like the first route better.

There's Wolf Mountain, and Wolf Trail, and the conditions (as of November) are not very human. And the views are cosmic! The same Japanese road is clearly visible! Do not be lazy, plan routes with a GPS tracker (to avoid doubts when the road is covered with snow).

We had a good time. It was difficult, but the view is beautiful. It's worth it.
