The renovated rooms of the Soviet hotel are not all of them. I won't say anything about the old ones, but the renovated ones are rated 3. Half of the programs on TV with terrible interference, the room is small, the toilet in the bathroom is located almost at the entrance. We boil water for tea in the foyer on the floor, a refrigerator (shared) at the other end of the floor, in order to get to it you need to cross an unrepaired part of the floor with broken parquet on the floor, scary room doors and shabby walls and ceiling. Homeless people are sleeping on the parapet outside the entrance. The only plus is a normal WiFi. And all this is in the room "komort". In general, it does not pull 3 stars, and the price is too high.

The hotel has recovered! The building is renovated, the proximity to transport, the train station will be very relevant for guests without a car. Sometimes it is noisy at night from the station square (not from trains), there is a paid closed parking for motorists (you can get up on the square, but if you plan to drive, it is better to get up in closed parking lots), there is a market nearby, not far from the circus. The only thing that upset me was that breakfast for a fee only in a nearby cafe (I liked breakfast in principle, according to the buffet principle), but it takes about 7-10 minutes to walk. As an option, there is a very tasty cooking downstairs.

A room of the average price category, a double "comfort" for 70 br per day. There is no refrigerator. The toilet and shower are tiny, a large person may not fit. There is only one kettle per floor, but there is a TV and Wi-Fi. There is a bare laminate on the floor, there are not even floor mats. So-so number.

I stayed there once... I didn't like it and I won't go anymore... The room is not cleaned in the morning, prices are low, service is at zero... Guests can't always come in, even for five minutes.... If someone comes to visit you late at night, you need to pay him not a small amount, as for yourself per night... I do not advise you to look for another hotel where it is more comfortable and the staff is friendly and the prices are lower...

Among the advantages: cleanliness, simplicity, and silence (for those who are not annoyed by the rare beeps from trains and announcements of the speaker through the slightly open window), the room is warm in winter.
Of the cons: the smell of cigarettes in the toilet when someone smokes into the hood from neighboring rooms, some elements in the shower require repair or replacement, well, there is little to watch on TV.
Those who were sure to remember this inconvenient wooden keychain with a room key, but this was done in order not to lose it in their pocket))
In general, I am not picky, so I was completely satisfied with the hotel.
