Just like a theater starts with a hanger, every little thing is important to me in a restaurant. Including the wardrobe. The entire impression of the interior of the restaurant is spoiled by the utility room reserved for the wardrobe. Because of the proximity to the barbershop, the persistent smell of styling products in the air also does not add pleasant impressions.
There are no complaints about the kitchen. Everything was delicious. But the menu did not match what was brought. Therefore, I had to give up one of the dishes due to an allergy to honey.
An interesting idea with a kitchen in the common room. But at the same time, I had to watch as a man who came from the street shook hands with the chefs. And those, without treating their hands, continued to work. Sorry, but for that too -⭐.

The staff is polite and professional, except for the receptionist, who greets people at the entrance (you need to learn to smile and be more customer-oriented). One of the disadvantages is that in hot weather the hall is very stuffy, there are not enough air conditioners.

Quite by chance, we found a very colorful place among the abundance of cafes and cafes on Oktyabrskaya Street. According to the recommendations, we went to one, another place and we didn't like anything, but the case gave us an acquaintance with the Flow restaurant. Yes, yes, I call this place a restaurant for the high level of service and the quality of the dishes served. The place is very intimate, perhaps it may seem specific to someone, but do not deny yourself the pleasure of getting into the atmosphere of Flow.
The industrial space is very laconically decorated, with modern furniture, spot lighting and ceiling fans. The kitchen is open in a glass cube.
To be honest, I immediately got the impression that the kitchen here is good. I was not mistaken.
We ordered a set of sushi, hand rolls with shrimp, tuna, salmon, oshidsuzi with salmon, sashimi with scallop, roti pastrami. In addition, they took a bottle of Alsatian Gewurztraminer. Such a dinner cost us 9.750 Russian rubles. (As of June 2023). But do not be afraid of this figure, the lion's share is occupied by the cost of wine (6.150 rubles). But I love gewurz, especially with sushi, so there was no choice;)
In terms of the quality of sushi, this is a completely new feeling for me - everything is the same, but in a different way. It's very tasty! There are not enough words to describe in detail, come and try it!
By the way, the wine is also at the highest level, so do not be greedy - choose the best and we will be happy for everyone!
To the girls who received us, I express my sincere gratitude for their professionalism, responsiveness and sensitivity. We had a great time, we will definitely come back.
I definitely recommend it, on Oktyabrskaya Street - this is a really good place!

And if, in fact, a year has passed, and any institution can be judged not only by the kitchen, but also by the interior, for me a striking example is a restroom, as she looks like a year later.
In one bathroom, the flush buttons fell out, somehow not very honestly, and the administrator when we came clarified about the table, but did not accept the jackets, we hung ourselves, but maybe this is such a format))

The layout in the hall is completely uncomfortable, you are sitting at a table for two and other people are sitting on both sides a step away from you. Naturally, every word of the neighbors is heard.
The entrance to the hall is not even minimally fenced off, and every time someone comes in, it blows cold all over the hall (at the table by the door you generally need to sit in a jacket so as not to freeze). We booked a table, arriving at 4.20 we were notified that the kitchen "siesta" from 16.30 to 17 and the cooks are not working at this time.
When the order finally arrived, we were disappointed once again. It was simply impossible to take Oshijushi with chopsticks. Sushi fell apart at a single touch, after dipping in soy, it turned into porridge altogether.
Establishments from the "above average" price segment did not leave any positive emotions in the end.

We were here on the evening of 30.01.2024. I liked EVERYTHING. The atmosphere, the food and especially the service. To my shame, I forgot the name of the waitress girl. But I would like to mention her work. She always smiled, described the dishes in detail, and patiently answered many of our clarifying questions. Fortunately, the dishes did not have to wait long, they were delicious and beautiful. Empty plates were promptly removed from the table by our waitress or her colleague, who served the neighboring tables. Let's come again. There's a lot we haven't tried yet.

Based on the results of two visits, it is probably possible to draw general conclusions:
1. Fiction in plates for moderate money…
The place is not just about the fashionable trend of Asian "homemade" food with a combination of street food, but also about how this direction can be developed by adding techniques and combinations of European style. There is also Umami in the same direction, but here it is more interesting and diverse for my taste.
2. The inconstancy of the service. The level of professionalism and involvement of employees is so different that it can both simply negate the excellent dishes, and bring the impression of visiting a place to the level of restaurants with 1-2 stars of the famous tire manufacturer's book.
The conclusion is that it is definitely worth going for the sake of food, and if you feel that the service is not up to par, ask for a replacement waiter, without wasting your nerves and mood.

Fall for the reviews. It's +29 on the street, there is no candy in the hall, it smells moderately like in the fish department of a bad hypermarket (I should have left at this point). There is hot air blowing on the summer veranda from below, there are zero visitors. So, this is NOT Japanese cuisine. Loose rice, alternative recipes, definitely not shiitake. In that case, the mushrooms are raw, undercooked mussel (inedible), generally creamy soup with tomato paste. Hand roll with loose rice, soy sauce was asked if it was necessary (and they ask about it in Japanese cuisine?), just rice with shrimp in nori at the price of expensive sushi. Poke with whipped wasabi and egg (?) it is absolutely not tasty, with the same black mushrooms. In general, thanks to them that we didn't get poisoned, just because we didn't finish eating.
