Of course, this is a big airport for a megalopolis.
Admission is free, there is no control, there are no queues.
There were only 2 inspectors for the initial control of international flights, the queue took about 15 minutes, then the control before boarding - Chinese massage in action. They check tactilely very rigidly, it is better to throw all lighters in advance into containers along the way. Next, passport control, before which employees are sent, depending on appearance (Asians or Europeans, in my opinion). After the "border" descent to the waiting room. I did not expect to see an empty huge airport. Duty Free stores are closed, there was only one employee, of whom I noticed 3 sectors - alcohol, tobacco, small stead with sweets. The first two do not attract me, I went to the sweet - there are traditionally sweets of sweets that can be bought in all our stores, there were some sweets, but they were from the EU. The business hall is light, without Chinese "dumplings", noodles, fruits, 2 degrees beer, Chinese wine, whiskey.
A large and new airport. Most shops are closed at night, but open at 5 a.m. The international sector is separated from the local one, and if there are more than 2 aces there, it gets boring.
We were in transit through this airport. If you are a heavy smoker, be prepared for the fact that there are exactly zero smoking rooms in such a huge airport. Neither for cigarettes, nor for icos, nor for electric shoes, you can't smoke anything anywhere. Especially for this, in each toilet (and there are very, very many of them) there are so-called "wardens", in the women's - a woman, in the men's - a man, who control the absence of signs of smoking in the toilets))
On the way to the destination, the transit waiting room was gorgeous, everything was new, clean, beautiful, the territory was huge, we spent time between transfers just walking around the airport, there were very few people. On the way back, the waiting room was very upset, we had a transfer for 12 hours, they refused to give us a transit visa to visit the hotels at the airport because we arrived at night and all the staff were asleep. They were put in seats in the waiting room with partitions, that is, it is almost impossible to sleep on them. There were two places with food in total: a restaurant, in which a lot of positions were missing, and a Starbucks, which saved us.
In general, the impressions are twofold, it is unlikely that we will still take a transfer at this airport.
The airport is convenient, the check-in area is intuitive, there are many places to wait, but there are no night cafes. Prices at the airport are not too high, you can have a full meal for 20-40 yuan.
Everything is clear if you carefully read the inscriptions and signs in English. However, it is far from the baggage claim area. Which transits may not be in time.
Feedback from the departing person (when he arrived, he did not look around, filled out a questionnaire, passed the border guards and moved to the exit, there was only a r/c with him). I liked the airport. It looks more beautiful from the outside than from the inside. The inspection is meticulous, but I was not surprised. Dutiki are inexpensive, if we talk about Chinese goods. The rest is the same as everywhere else. There is a cafe. You can eat tasty and not expensive. There weren't many people at 10 a.m., I found a place to sit down. There are many carts for the transportation of r/K. In general, it is usually a good airport.
The airport is new, very stylish, the staff work well, everything is fast and clear. I lowered the rating because there is practically nothing to buy on departure, well, make some authentic shops bigger, people will leave money and buy gifts if they did not have time to do it in the city. Otherwise perfect.
The new airport is modern, cozy, and very large. I was pleased with the outdoor courtyard in the Chinese style - very nice and cozy. The cafe can be bigger, but there is a place to eat. Thank you!)
A large, beautiful airport. Clear navigation. On departure, there is a wonderful courtyard where you can enjoy your impressions a little more. There is enough space to accommodate while waiting for boarding.
a large modern convenient airport. clear navigation. It's a pity that most outlets close from evening to morning. I couldn't really buy souvenirs and stuff. very thorough inspection - I have not seen this anywhere else, they completely felt it, returned the backpack three times for a second X-ray (all passengers are like this)
Great airport, even in the evening!
I'm really excited about China.
The price for food and the serving volume at the airport, unlike cafes and bars at Tolmachev International Airport, is much tastier and more!!!
I am very offended and sad for US and the attitude towards ourselves... Well, it shouldn 't be like that, right ?
A beautiful airport. There are outdoor recreation areas at each end of the star, decorated in the form of a mini-park. There are many different cafes at the airport. The prices are almost the same as in the city.
Very spacious. Light. Few people. Of the disadvantages, there are few shops in the departure area. A little dude. Several souvenir and expensive useless boutiques. A good hotel in the airport itself. Aerootel. Small rooms. But clean. You don't have to go far.
An excellent airport, after control there is a super cool waiting area, you can relax and sleep if anything. Food and restaurant prices are the cheapest I've seen in an airport
A huge but stupid airport - there are few shops in the transit zone, there is no full-fledged hotel for transit international travelers, and the cost of a single lounge with sleep capsules is comparable to a luxury 5* hotel. So think twice if you have a long overnight transfer - it makes sense to apply for a transit visa in advance.
It's a big airport where there's nothing interesting and everything closes at 23.00. The business halls are closed at night, or rather, one is open, but there is no food there.
The airport is very large, but at the same time logical and simple in logistics.
Quick check-in, quick customs clearance, everything is fine.
There are many power points and devices with water
It is a very beautiful airport, all the signs are clear, intuitive or with a little knowledge of English. you can figure out where to go and where everything is.
A beautiful, large, new airport, an inexpensive Aeroexpress train directly from the airport to the city. The only drawback is that there are very long queues at passport control (if there are two or more of you, I recommend that one of you go to take a queue upon arrival, and the other at this time start filling out all the necessary forms)
It is a very large airport, beautiful, it is necessary to arrive in advance to get a visa, the staff are responsive and can help. First of all, you need to fill out a blue card
A clean, large, modern airport. There are islands everywhere for charging gadgets.
Water distributors. Simple shops with simple food, noodles, cookies, tea. There is a cafe for every taste and budget.
Everything looks beautifully modern, there are a lot of charging places and a high range of shops. But it's too big and the staff don't speak English very well.
The airport is very beautiful! The dimensions are impressive! Security is at a high level. There are a lot of greenery and flowers inside. There are enough places to relax. There are not enough retail outlets in the international terminal, but over time, I think everything will be filled. Superaeroport! There is nothing to add.
I highly recommend it for long transfers.
It is impossible to relax in the hall, as all the seats are separated by armrests. The exchange rate is unpleasant and there is also a commission.
The last word to the architect. There is a lot of space. Technologically, there are Chinese outdoor gardens. Modern, clean, lots of waiting areas. There are no crowds.
A great big airport from where you can fly all over the world and China: I really liked the availability of drinking water in free access and a large number of outlets of all kinds
The airport is quite modern, but the feeling of some kind of abandonment did not leave - DF stores are more closed than open, with catering - the same situation...
I thought that nowhere are there more problematic procedures for exiting the airport to the country than at Sheremetyevo, but it turned out that there are - at Beijing airport. There are a lot of crazy questionnaires that need to be filled out, while at best a third of the airport staff speaks English, so all these processes are purely based on intuition.
Fingerprinting, taking a covid test (2024 is in the yard, guys!). All this fun takes about an hour and a half, so take this time into account when you visit China.
It was a very beautiful airport, and there was a Chinese-style outdoor garden inside. There were many places to sit. We flew overnight, so we found the airport empty.
Very spacious and equipped with all kinds of amenities. Beautiful, a lot of revenge where you can relax. Areas with sofas and huge TV monitors. The disadvantage is that there are no flight boards in the recreation areas. I had to jump up and go look for the scoreboard to see if the right flight had appeared. As it is, the impression is just great.
We flew to Korea via Beijing, the airport looks big, we were in the transit zone, without access to the city, at the reception desk you need to confirm your tickets and luggage to the destination, the luggage flies immediately from Russia to Korea, which is very convenient. Customs control is very thorough, they touch almost completely, look everywhere they can, front and back, hair-tails too, 2-3 min per person, if there is a powerful power bank in the hand luggage, then as with me, they took it, broke it and returned it without words, I noticed only in the waiting room. The flight was in the morning, so everyone spent the night as best they could on armchairs, sofas, there are plastic sun beds, but uncomfortable, there is only one place to eat, there is also a small shop with a minimum of food and drinks, there are vending machines with sweets, also coolers with cold and hot water, toilets are very clean. There is also a small courtyard in the Chinese style, illuminated in the evening, very beautiful.
A very thoughtful and good airport. While waiting for the flight, you can spend the night in an aerootel. There are many places to eat, and the prices do not differ much from the city.
Beautiful airport! Be sure to take a walk in the open-air garden! There are a lot of places where you can hide from people, for example, lie down and relax))
The airport is problematic at night. Nothing is working. They don't let you go to hotels through transit, we flew from Japan to Moscow for 15 hours. The hotel had to be canceled because they were not allowed in without a visa on a Russian passport , they found a Pay Lounge hotel in the terminal itself, a capsule room for two looks like a cabin, comfortable. But it is much more expensive, they gave 1020 yuan for 8 hours, but bargained until 10 o'clock.
