Very convenient. It is important to understand that Chinese taxi drivers do not speak English, so it is better to have the exact address at hand (preferably in Chinese). The cost to the center of Pikin is 150 - 250 yuan. Payment is strictly according to the counter. Travel time is 40-50 minutes. One of the disadvantages of the airport is that duty free does not work at night, priority pass is not accepted (at least I did not find it). One of the advantages is that there is a 24-hour family mart store with affordable prices in the duty free zone.

I was in transit at the airport. One transfer is 5 hours and a night transfer is 18 hours.
I liked the airport, there is a snack shop in the transit zone, a McDonald's, an outdoor Chinese garden, coolers with cold and hot water. There are a lot of cafes and shops in the usual area of the airport before departure, there is a hotel to spend the night right at the airport.
The only negative is the slightly unfriendly staff (especially customs officers). We all communicated very intensely, completely searched bags, felt and checked clothes) In general, be prepared for a thorough check.

It's a beautiful airport, all the staff have a remote control with an interpreter. I flew to China without knowledge of Chinese and English, there were no problems. Even in the subway at the airport, they helped me, and I reached it by following the signs on my own. There is no smoking room, just go outside, but there are no problems when passing back. The control is not the same as in Russia, there are no queues. By the way, when I returned, I passed all the controls in less than 15 minutes.
The airport is full of shops with groceries and things, the prices are adequate, without extra charges.
