The old terminal is used mainly for local flights and is a hall in which there is nothing except a counter with sandwiches and drinks. The new terminal is richer. There are several cafes, various shops, and even Duty free. Although the assortment in it is very boring. Strong alcohol of 1-2 brands, no wine at all. Some chocolate, cigarettes and perfumes. There are few care cosmetics, there are practically no decorative ones. In the cafe you can buy food for the plane, well, and collect small souvenirs at local shops. In the inspection area, women are forced to take off their shoes separately, men separately. During a personal search, Egyptian women are quite rude in their treatment, unlike men. You will be forced to take off your shoes and put your feet on a stool (be prepared for this). Then you show another employee your passport again to see if there is a seal there. Then you need to sign up for some kind of magazine, then fill out cards with personal data (take a pen or pencil with you! Many do not take it and then they start rushing in search of something to write). It is better to put everything to the maximum in a suitcase, otherwise everything will be shaken out of you - drops in your eyes, a nail file. In front of me, they took the key to the garage from a person and it's useless to prove something. Well, when you think that everything has already passed, you approach your gate, they begin to inspect you again, a woman of women, a man of men. And if you want to go to the toilet / shop, then you will be searched again! If the flight is delayed, no one announces anything. In general, the most "pleasant" impressions!
