I was in many places, hostels, hotels, but this was one of the best places. You get more than you pay for. Everything is clean, the showers are warm and toilets work as you know it from the EU. Currently it's -18 degrees outside and the heating still works very well. As a foreigner you won't have to worry about registration of your stay in St. Petersburg. The personal is really after it and they will help you to the end.
