One of the greatest historical complexes in Uzbekistan. The complex was build around the mausoleum of the first arab adminstrator in the region. It is of religious and architectural importance.
Clean, with proper order, not crowded. The only problem is that there is only one cashier's desk... (... and for some reason the cashier leaves the desk whenever she wants...÷))

Maybe I am overreacting, but I disagree with the reviews - the place is overly crowded; yes - the waiters were quick to come, but they seemed they do not understand what they are expected to do. The host was comparatively rude because he didn't do a thing while I was looking for an empty place in the crowded street, but once I had found one, he tried to relocate the whole family...
Overall, if you like a quiet place for a pleasant evening, do not come here...
I used to respect the place a lot. But when recently I visited it, I got a huge problem of under-service. I waited for the waiter for 25 minutes, then had to wait the waiter bring tea for 15 minutes, then just left hungry and thirsty - the waiter never came back...
The place is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Uzbek culture. The place is well taken care of. It's only that Bukhara is comparatively hotter than other regions
