Leningrad Zoo in Saint Petersburg has a great atmosphere and well managed facilities. However, many animals such as tiger, giraffe, puma and polar bear are kept alone in single pair rather than with a male and female companion. This practice feels cruel and unnatural, as these animals need social interaction and big space. While the zoo itself is impressive, improving animal welfare by providing proper companionship & atmosphere like jungle make it even better.
The prices are much more economical compared to other supermarkets. However, they should improve the interior design and make the space more spacious and appealing.
