A group of obnoxious and impolite staff immediately targeted my mom, a hijabi, as soon as they saw our family of five. They started pointing out that her style of hijab wasn’t allowed. After we responded and adjusted her look to match their perception, they stopped us just before entering the dining hall and turned to my youngest teen brother, saying ‘No’ to his hoodie! This was such an unprofessional attitude. What’s worse is that we were really excited about the experience, but the behavior of the manager was outright racist. When my dad confronted him, insisting that my brother should not be excluded, the manager literally said, 'No, you can leave.'
It’s ironic that they position themselves as a ‘modern, artistic Russian restaurant’ while acting like medieval savages. Not to mention, they clearly lack understanding of other cultures and fail to emphasize the importance of a polite and welcoming staff, especially the manager himself."
