Nice place. They have shashlik, samsa and osh. Crowded usually. Recently they lost most of the serving staff so now u have to go order and pick up ur own food. Not so great.
The train station is a nice and clean place. Not that many signs in English but people are helpful. No restaurants just kiosks selling snacks etc. The station is acceptable by car, metro and bus.
If u miss the train or there are no tix u can go faster by car. Sobir Rahimov is where small cars go to various places.
You can book tix online or at the tix booth inside the bus station. There are three level of buses 1. Economy, 2. Shared room, 3. Private room.
Speed trains cost more than regular slow trains. Vendors sell refreshments and snacks throughout the journey in regular trains.
Night.travel with trains u get.a.towel, bedsheet, pillow case and sheet. In winter u get blankets too.
Costs are as follows: Tashkent to Termez for example economy class in a slow train is $12-$15, shared room is about $25, and first class is around $45 as of 2025.
Bathrooms are relatively clean and they serve hot tea on board too. People are usually respectful and.u face little problem.
3 lanes of shops, each lane having about 2o shops, dedicated to art supplies and stationary. I was looking for smaller labels on A4 for printing but they told me all la else comes I A4 large one piece. If u want smaller labels just cut the A4 to the size u want. I cant believe Uzbekistan doesnt have smaller labels. I just need to find where. Smaller labels come in single strip for small handheld printers only. 5onsheets of A4 single label was 28k or about 2.2 usd.
Huge place. Some good shopping option but most of the brands are outrageously expensive. Also 1 hour free wifi is not too great if u r stuck there. Always the option to buy more but still everywhere else it's free wifi all the time
