Unprofessional Service and Poor Management.
At the end of my stay in Tashkent, I attempted to exchange my remaining Uzbek sums to USD, but the process turned into a frustrating and time-consuming ordeal. Only one exchange window was operational, and the staff member working there was clearly untrained and extremely slow—she was typing with one finger and seemed unfamiliar with the computer system.
This inefficiency created a long queue and significant delays. When I brought the issue to the attention of the manager, his response was even more concerning. He informed me that the employee was new and “not confident with computers,” then casually suggested I use a different bank instead.
With such an attitude from management, I have to agree—it’s better to take your business elsewhere. I cannot recommend this bank for any kind of transaction. The lack of basic training, poor customer service, and unprofessional handling of a simple currency exchange are unacceptable.
