We were here in January. A soulful zoo, a large territory, I really liked the ungulates and elephants, which you can get very close to. It's a pity they don't sell food for them. Tickets are not expensive. The disadvantages are landscaping and the number/quality of toilets.

It's a great place, there are a lot of attractions for different tastes and ages. Of course, we took a ride on the Ferris Wheel and climbed even higher over Tbilisi, beauty and that's all. And then on a roller coaster, not like in Sochi or Moscow, but a few moments impressed))) We got to it by tram, which is also a great pleasure. The territory is very large, there is a lot of entertainment, we definitely recommend it

The zoo for 4 GEL justifies its price. The animals are relatively clean, the road is straight without any branches, the rides are super simple for the youngest (except for the Ferris wheel, it is super time-beaten). The aquarium, which is paid separately (2 GEL), is not particularly full of an abundance of animals. A couple of snakes, fish, one spider, and that's it.
As a result, if you are exploring the city and just want to look at the most basic animals (deer, donkeys, parrots, llamas, lemurs, one kind of monkey and a few more), then this zoo will take you for 4 lari for 30 minutes. Otherwise, I don't see any point in returning here ever again. In August, at 30+, the heat of the animals is especially sad and bad, and this has already made me sad.

Overall, the zoo is good. Small, but cozy. All pets are available)) The only thing I took off the star for is infrastructure. I think I haven't repaired it since the opening. The pens are old, the rides are generally dark. The Ferris wheel creaks so much that you can hear it from afar. And the swing horses for kids are going so fast that I got seasick 😅

You can't help but like this place - the animals live in conditions that are almost close to natural. Whole herds of deer and buffaloes. The lemurs were touched. I was surprised by a brash and shameless llama and a smart behemoth. There is a lot of entertainment for younger children.

Traveling to different cities, we definitely go to the zoo. The entrance to Tbilisi costs 4 lari (150 rubles). It is not very big, in an hour and a half you can safely walk around it and take pictures. It was hot outside, and many animals escaped with water and shade. I liked elephant, rhinoceros, camel, yaks, bright parrots, fawns and all the rest))) Our Creator created animals to make us happy, because it's so interesting to watch them! "God created wild animals according to their genera, cattle and all other creatures according to their genera. And God saw that it was good." (Genesis 1:25).

Of the advantages, only the price is 4 lari entrance to the zoo and another 2 lari to look at fish and reptiles. The animals run from their enclosures to the neighboring ones. Everything is not cleaned, fences are not safe, animals are fed with other live or dead animals right in front of the children. They just throw a rabbit into the aviary and watch as his head is now torn off… I understand everything, but a zoo is not a place for a broken child's psyche. The rides are all old, rusty, the Ferris wheel seems to be worth 40 years ... dirt and stink everywhere ... in general, I do not advise you to waste your time on this location

The camel could be touched at all. Predators are behind the glass, but they come right up to the glass, so you can see at arm's length. In general, it was a pleasure to come here. There is a good amusement park for small children. Very friendly staff. And I took off the star only because it is necessary to make repairs, the walls and fences are in a deplorable condition. Maybe because of the flood, of course. The animals are well fed. But the conditions of detention leave much to be desired.

I learned about the Tbilisi State Zoo on madloba.info and I immediately wanted to go there! I have already heard that this is one of the most interesting and exotic parks in Georgia, but now I have learned more details. Up to 1,500 animals of 200 species, including threatened species, live here. It's just amazing!
I am glad that in the zoo you can observe not only the local fauna, but also such exotic animals as white lions, rhinos and elephants. In addition, there is a diverse collection of birds and reptiles, including venomous snakes. The zoo offers different types of tickets with different prices, and I'm already planning my trip there.
