My first acquaintance with Alakol happened thanks to the Flamingo Recreation Area, I am very glad about it! A cozy area, clean, spacious rooms, all conditions for a wonderful holiday, always friendly Murat agha and his son Daniyar. It's like you've come home with them, you're so welcome and so caring and attentive! The food is good and varied, it has never been repeated in a week, and the portions are good. There is also a meeting from the train and they take you to the beach in the morning and afternoon. I highly recommend it!!!

This year, for the first time, we rested in this recreation area. Everything was great, the prices for accommodation + meals are perfect, cheaper in many others but with excellent service. We got to July in a period when there were not many people, and from this the rest was perfect, the food was very tasty, every day there is a different menu, the bus takes you to the beach for 5 minutes and you are on the beach, there are reasonable prices nearby shops. I liked everything, a lot of greenery, shade mostly, a playground, there is a bar. I definitely recommend it. We will definitely come back here next year)!

We rested for 2 days on the way from Almaty to Novosibirsk. Hospitable hosts, the administrator Daniyar is ready to quickly resolve the issue. Good food, even fastidious children ate)). Transfer to the beach is generally a fire. They are taken to the beach after breakfast and lunch by bus and also picked up from the beach according to the schedule. There are disadvantages in the rooms, of course, but not critical.
Unfortunately, I did not like the public beach of Koktuma. It is dirty, not equipped at all, the pebbles are very large (it is possible to walk only in special shoes). The water is good, quite clean and warm. Vacationers drive cars straight to the water.

I like this recreation area! I've been going there for three years. Everything is very cozy, quiet and pleasant! Everyone is taken to the beach together at a certain time twice a day and picked up. It's great that you don't have to go far yourself.
There is a beach very close by, 5 minutes from the area, but on the bark, where they take it, it is better and the water is cleaner.
The staff is polite, tasty and homemade food is served three times a day, you can also order food with you, according to the type of kebabs or cocktail)
Such a homely atmosphere, it is clear that the owners put their efforts into each house)

In July 2024. We had a rest at the Flamingo boarding house. I liked the rest very much. The accommodation is excellent with full service-TV, refrigerator, air conditioning. Most importantly, the transfer was provided at the meeting and at the end of the rest. A very cozy area with an abundance of plants. The price for accommodation is quite consistent with the conditions and quality of food. The cuisine is varied, the staff is friendly and friendly. Thanks for the rest!

We go 3 times, but nothing has changed.
The houses are quite dirty, the suites are better, but still does not justify its price.
The playground is broken up, there is not much place for adults to spend their leisure time.

The plates are dirty, there are flies, wasps everywhere, air conditioners are burning, the food is also so-so, monotonous, not tasty. Once we even got a raw pie inside, which they refused to change for us.

A wonderful recreation area blooming with a variety of flowers. Hospitality begins with the hosts, the whole family works for the vacationers. Very kind, open, funny people. We were met from the train and escorted off. There is transport to the beach, convenient in time. The room is very cozy with good furniture and snow-white linen. There is water and tea in the dining room around the clock, you can always drink it, the food is delicious, large portions. The atmosphere of goodwill. Thank you for your hard work and care.

In principle, the recreation area is good. The food is good. It's delicious, the portions are hearty. The territory is cramped (you can say there is none), the whole is built up to the maximum. It is far from the beach, but three times a day, according to the schedule, it takes away from the zone for free, brings a bus (GROOVE) to the "spit". The staff is very friendly and friendly. The service is at the right level. The administrator/manager Daniyar is a very nice guy. He gets into the situation and tries to help and do everything in his competence. The rooms are very cozy and clean. The whole area is clean and green. But we were unlucky with the number. It was very stuffy (even the fan didn't help) and for some reason there was no hot water. Daniyar offered another room, but since we had to leave, we refused.

The recreation area is not bad, lots of greenery, cozy houses, there is a separate playground for children, a bar where you can buy drinks and dishes to order. The hosts are the nicest people, the staff is polite, attentive, but there is a fly in the ointment in all this and this is the cook. The food is terrible, the cook does not know how to cook from the word at all, I do not know how it was last year, but this year 2022 it is very not tasty, not appetizing, porridge in the morning is gray and there is no variety. The owners should review the menu and change the cook.

The area is really not bad, green and cozy. The staff is quite responsive. And unfortunately, all good things end there. We rested for five days, during this time our rooms were not even vacuumed, before settling in there was only a conditional cleaning in the middle of the room, I accidentally had to get under the bed to get a toy and there was dust in straight clouds, the toilet tank leaked, the shelf in the bathroom was cheerful on snot, water pressure was practically absent, there was no closet for things there were only three hooks and a couple of shelves in the hallway installation and this is in a three-bed room that was built before this year's season. Next, cable was announced (for me it is important Because I have children and sometimes it is important to answer them to cartoons in order to take an elementary shower) in fact, there were only Kazakh channels, one Russian news channel and TVSHOP, all channels worked intermittently and there is nothing to look at them from the word at all unless you are addicted to the news , as well as Wi-Fi was announced throughout the territory , in fact it was but without Internet access, which was very saddening since the mobile Internet does not work in the whole village. Now let's move on to nutrition, I don't even know how much milder, how much we paid for food, I can't say, our total amount per day was 16,000 TENGE per person (as it turned out, it was very expensive, mostly prices from 10 thousand to 12 thousand with meals), but for example, for a three-year-old child we were offered the surcharge for meals is 4000 TENGE per day, count for yourself. What we were fed was three meals a day, after each meal we were all very hungry and caught up with bread and tea, but it could have been survived if the food was of high quality. For such money, we were fed the cheapest products, pasta that does not even look like mocorones is just a sticky mass, meat cutlets consisting in fact of potatoes with bread (but even this option can be beaten by making them delicious) taste terrible, for breakfast porridge that is not possible, two days in a row were burnt to the taste and you can go on like this indefinitely. Verdict: not tasty, not high-quality, small and expensive.
But they have a cafe on the territory and there is a very tasty lamb kebab and no one was poisoned, but in the neighboring kebabs they complained of poisoning.
